Paper Planet is coming August 21st.
Please be sure to Wishlist it! store.steampowered.com/app/1504250/Paper_Planet/
I wishlisted it!!!
4 DAYS LEFT !
you forgot the Horse with a Human Mask on a Tightrope Referenc
The ironplate potion and regeneration band seem to be referencing terraria, specifically the ironskin potion, and the regeneration band item
Recycler seems to be reference to slay the spire, specifically the defects 1(upgraded to be 0 cost) card of the same name
I was gonna say that :(
Wormy Wormson is probably another Binding of Isaac reference. Isaac has multiple worm-based trinkets that make the tear trajectory all wacky.
Wormy Wormson, is actually an earlier version of final boss' name
Multibarrel - TF2 Meet the Heavy
Rat - Remi from Ratatouille
Regeneration Band - Terraria
Wizard Staff - prob smth like D&D
DON'T GIVE ME A COPY
I, as a translator (Russian), already will get one
Fanciful Pants Man
i thought it said fenciful lol
The iron plate potion is a Terraria reference with the shape and color of the potion to the Ironskin potion
Regen band is also a Terraria reference of the item with a similar name and exact colors: band of regeneration
The multibarrel could be, based on design, a reference to Bloons also, it seems to (vaguely) match the BTD4-5 dartling gun tower, with a 2 side handle grip, a box for the main bit, and the barrels sticking out of the box.
Planetiod Slingshot is the angrybirds refernce you though the other item was
The tri shot being a gun instead of the default projectile in a group of 3 seems too random to be not a reference
(This one is a stretch) Stupy's Ukulele could be a Risk of Rain reference, as in RoR2 a ukulele is and causes you attack to hit near by enemies on hit, and the wiggling of the shots could simulate, but I'm stumped on the unicorn bit if it is a RoR item
Turret bullets (may) be a reference to tank.io, the shape seems similar to the default "tank"
XL Ammo box could be a reference to Team Fortress 2's comedically large ammo boxes, likely the ones dropped on death (Medium) which also have a bullet(s) on it to signify ammo, and the XL could just be going one size larger than the largest in game (Large)
(note i haven't played this game, I am just going on the icon for the items)
I think the Prism Buddy may also be a terraria reference, it looks a lot like the last prism in my opinion.
prism buddy is a refrence to isaac's angelic prism@@ejdxjd8832
the minigun looks like the weapon Heavy uses in TF2
*meet the heavy opening*
*gun slam down on table*
*sitting noises*
"I am heavy weapons guy..."
"...and this... is my weapon"
"she weighs 150 kg and fires $200 custom tool cartridges at ten thousand rounds per MINUTE."
I think the Froggy Backpack might be a reference to the infamous Froggy Chair from Animal Crossing. Also i think Wormy Wormson is the old name of the real final boss (that is not part of the public demo) so maybe they just thought it would be funny to keep the name for an item
i think loop bullets (with the art accompanying it) is yet another Isaac reference to the item continuum
god i love this game i have 28 hours in the DEMO
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the flavor text (SPEEEEEEN) for Overcharged Engine is a reference to a joke from Vinny Vinesauces streams, not sure if the engine itself is a specific reference to anything though
This is probably not the actual reference they were going for, but with Wormy Wormson, just the way the bullets look remind me of turning of reload time in Liero (an older PC game that's basically a real-time version of Worms).
Lovely little game that you can play for free cause it's abandonware.
You know when devs had fun with a game when the concept is simple, but they stuffed it full of so many abilities and types and references you can spent hours on it.
LINE RIDER WHAT
Exactly as you said, with so much staying power, I'm surprised you haven't done a flashlight type video on the Bloons series yet. Did you ever consider making one or something?
The Metronome could possibly be a reference to the Pokemon item of the same name.
In Pokemon, the Metronome powers up moves used consecutively, so if it does something similar, there's your answer.
banana is the banana bomb from worms
I think the XL ammo box is a TF2 reference due to it looking a lot like one off the TF2 ammo boxes, strange they call it XL here even though in TF2 it is more medium sized, I might be wrong about the reference here
13:00 wow, I never knew it wasn't actually a reference to miraculous ladybug the show, but instead to the game that I have never heard before in my life. It was supposed to go along with a game?!
There are a few games! But I may have misinterpreted, and there's a very good chance that the Miracle Beetle is meant to just reference the character broadly, without being tied specifically to the show or games?
@@2leftthumbs I just never realized the show was supposed to go along with games pokemon style. I thought it was an anime that got turned into a more children friendly show. The history of Miraculous has no right to be this confusing.
Won't lie, I saw the rubber band and thought Hedgehog Launch was the reference
I think you forgot the lead heart from the binding of Isaac here, but then again i could be wrong so...
you forgot the Horse with a Human Mask on a Tightrope Referenc
i think froggy backpack could be a refrence to animal crossing becuase the frog has circles in its cheeks like animal crossing frogs and its pretty reminicent to the frog chair
....Did I miss something or did he not point out Neo's CRT? it's a very direct reference to The Matrix
The worm is a worms reference
This is so unrelated to the video and you will probs wont see it but when r u going to make a deep dive about yuppie pyschos dlc?? Or are you going to do it?? Youre first ever video about it covered everthing and very useful for me so i would love if you do a video about the dlc.
With a name like Trishot and that picture of a blocky revolver, with a line down the middle. Ya it's a reference to the anime, Trigun.
The Band Aid giving speed makes me think it's a Super Meat Boy reference
Missed the Tyrant's Crown, which is an obvious reference to Peach, from Mario. Or at least it look's like it
Huh, neat
The ones I haven't seen mentioned: Lead heart is a little a Little inferno 'Metal heart' item reference
Guesses at, Mr stabby, the art doesn't line up but possibly a name throwback to the flash animations of the same name hosted on weebls stuff
Hurricane generator possibly another Bloons reference
Lore of The Ultimate Love Letter to Flash Games || All Paper Planet References momentum 100
Hot Stuff: Bloons TD 5 (mortar upgrade)
And of course Prism buddy is the reference to TBoI & the regeneration band is the Terraria one.
the only indie ukulele i know is the one from Risk of Rain... i've got no idea what those unicorns have to do with it however.
Forbidden Gummi is Ipecac from Binding of Isaac
Don't remember you mentioning Regeneration Band (Terraria)
Maybe the worm is a reference to Slitherio ?
I hope that their is a item that refrences the Stick war games by Stickpage
😮😮😮😮😮😮 I should've been here to wishlist it
What about the regeneration band? isnt that from terraria?
bottle of lightning looks alot like a terraria bottle
19:09 I AM MIGHTY! -wolfgang
empty dragon egg would be from Dragon Boy: an old flash game by Godlimations where you raise a dragon to help you clear dungeons full of enemies
"Heavy Bullets" is a name of a rougelike FPS where you retrieve your own shot bullets
I legit thought the "linked shield" at 12:30 was a nod to Phineas and Ferb. There's an episode where the main characters makes a blue ball that can extend itself (like in the picture) and by doing so, they can go through solid objects
Yay he's back
the elastic one that you said referenced burrito bison looks more like its referencing hedgehog launch
Drill bullets are a reference to rounds, made by landfall
BTW I am not sure if that is a reference in it’s self
wc3?
Art is a snake eating its own tail, forever. What a wonderful thing
loop bullets are from isaac's continuum thingy, don't know the exact name
prism buddy's also from isaac
split bullets look like they're from the bubble tanks series but maybe it ends there and i don't know
tank plating could be from Tanks (there's a few variants, all pretty old)
violet's petals could be from terraria's plantera
drill bullets are seen in many games but i'd guess that one Tanks turn-based online game set in a 2d arena with destructible terrain could be the first
Hot Stuff could be from minecraft
spreadshot could be mutant spider from isaac
tesla coil could be that one tower defence where you charge up then zap enemies with thunderbolts (there's 2 notable games centered around tesla coils i know, both have sequels i think, and both are tower defence)
Violet's petals, are an item, unlocked by beating zone 4 boss, "Overgrown Flower", Violet
Hot Stuff is just an coincidence, same with spreadshot
@@mrlazerim8089 i shot for the stars to hopefully get a free copy >:)
Is this the developers that made fancy pants adventures? The little stick figure dude that jumped around and more? My younger brother and I have played it so much over the years and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I was wondering where I can find it? I really want to revisit it, thanks!
Not the same developers, but that old Flash game aesthetic was a huge inspiration for Paper Planet! Fancy Pants is being remade as the "Fancy Pants Adventures: Classic Pack". You can Wishlist it on Steam so you don't miss that release

@@2leftthumbs Oh, okay! Thank you for the reply! I will check it out!
