Excellent video. Gotta say, watching this really warms my heart and was a nice nostalgia trip, in a good way. I've always had bittersweet feelings towards the whole animating career and bunnykill in particular but after watching this, I feel nothing short of content. This is a better closure than I could've ever asked for. Thank you so much.
Hi mr mottis thank you very much for bunnykill series it's make my childhood great i appreciate your efforts to make this series i hope you life great after retirement:)🌹♥️
That's really wonderful to hear Mottis! Thank you so much for taking the trip down memory lane with me, and sharing so much about yourself and the creation of this series :) It's an honor to be able to share your story, and I'm thrilled to hear that you felt I did it justice. Best wishes
Thank you too. Your series meant and still means a lot to me. I'm glad you can be so proud of the work you did even if it caused so many health problems and I'm glad you've been able to move on. Keep doing your thing!
Thank you for animating BK series, I loved since I watched for first time when I was just a kid and now it becomes part of my childhood. Was freakin' awesome! Hope you do extremelly well and have a happy life man, you sure deserve it. Regards from Argentina!
I loved your series a ton when I watched it, and I saw it before Madness even! It's unfortunate that a lot of people treat Bunnykill likes Madness, unfortunately. I def prefer the more speedy style of Bunnykill compared to the more slow style that Madness animations is, with Madness:Project Nexus feeling more fitting to Bunnykill in that regard too! Wish ya the best, Mottis, live your best life out there!
It hurts that we aren't getting any further bunnykill animations from you Mottis and im sad that it ends on a sort-of cliffhanger but I understand and im actually sadder that it caused you so much stress. Im even more sad that bunnykill doesn't have a following like madness does! Id love to see the style of bunnykill again but i do hope you enjoy your retirement from it and that one day the memories you have of working on it will be more sweet than bittersweet.
Hopefully some more fan animations that are much more Bunnykill than Madness, like the Bunnykill Ressurection Collab, but better, will come about, so the series can live on in that.
@@luckybunny8322 yeah I saw that. Thought it was a good way to try and jumpstart a community but it may be a problem later on when people expect it to be as..."easy" (for lack of a better word) as making a madness animation and people will want to drop it when they realize it's very different from madness but let's hope bunnykill stays at least heard of until we can get a community
I love these series and I always look forward to the next video that goes over stuff like this! Without it I would never have known that bunny kill even existed, due to living under a rock at that period in time.
its insane to think i was like 7 or 8 years old when i was watching bunnykill i hope there will be at least one more bunny kill maybe somewhere in the next 10 years
This was super interesting, never really knew most of this stuff. Learnt a lot, I didn’t expect for Morris to remember so much of the development of this series. Really cool
thanks for this video, i'm glad to know the animator is actually safe and doing great and that he was able to comunicate its break from animation community
Incredibly interesting and in-depth video giving this series a well deserved moment in the spotlight. I really enjoyed hearing Mottis' thought process behind his work as I'm currently learning Adobe Animate CC myself for the first time as part of my new job within IT/Graphics Design. Bunnykill, being one of my all-time favorite flash series, has been a tremendous help, keeping my motivation high with learning both the program and the basics of animation. I'm very grateful for it, and the feeling of being able to recreate an animation I grew up with is just ecstatic. Thank you for this video!
ive been a fan of bunnykill ever since I was a child and a detailed retrospective is one of the best things I could ever see as a fan in 2023, thanks for making this!
i miss watching Bunny Kill, Madness Combat (watched it on StickPage rather than NewGrounds for some reason) and Thing Thing as a kid, man time flies by so fast BK5.1 and 5.2 weren't much of a "high note" on me, since Snowball got pwned by Dust and i really liked Snowball as a kid, but hey it was still badass and awesome to see Dust mop the floor too, and it sucks that Mottis retired but it's best for him to look after himself like in my previous comment, i wish Thing-Thing got the same treatment and got as much relevance or popularity, there were certain advantages such as it being edgier (in the background, worldbuilding and brutality), a little bit creepy, eerie (like with Weasel's other games such as Eternal Red), you can control and customize Project 154 to your own liking, got awesome tracks by Helix6, ParagonX9 and DJ Rockwell (either blood pumping techno or something eerie) speaking of which, it'd be awesome to see you make a video on Thing-Thing and Weasel along with his catalogue! :D
Same you bro I know madness combat from stickpage and I think crazy flasher it's inspired from madness combat because it's have reference to madness combat and are you see Sift Heads similar madness combat?
@@adnanalmusaher yeah i remember Crazy Flasher too and it was awesome, too bad they made a lame parkour game, and yeah i see the influence or inspiration in Sift Heads too
@@OperatorMax1993 yeah bro that's unfortunately going to focus in sub games there's no problem if the developer make sub games but he's shouldn't to focus in sub games and leave main games crazy flasher can to come out as anime i considered it's anime version for madness combat but if creator leave this series to die that's worst😔
Ngl Im surprised that this isn't an East vs West situation where this one would be well knows in eastern Europe but just a spin off for Americans. Funny thing: I tried making a madness thing on a mobile app once and an attempted handfight looked exactly like 2:49
One of the reasons that made me addicted to Ori, when i first saw Ori something felt familiar and i just instantly loved the little fella, then Sequel came and everything just Clicked.
I'm strugling to do any type of work, either if it's school or passion/interest, due to my awful habits. It is kind of similiar to burnout, so seing someone who had similiar issue and end up sorting his life up, brings me hope.
If he had held out a couple of more years and continued on with BunnyKill, it would of been picked up by a major studio and become a major franchise. He would be a seriously wealthy man at this point.
I know you mentioned it in your Last Stand video briefly, but have you thought of taking an in-depth look into the Road of the Dead series? I've always felt like for how well-made it is and how it pushed the flash engine to its limits, especially in the case of the second game, hardly anyone ever talks about it.
im gonna be honest , i cant see a difference between frame rates , i cant see the differene between 12 and 24 frames wich is weird to me , is that only me?
Do you plan on covering Phoenotopia, William and Sly, or Inquisitive Dave sooner or later? I want to see some love for these flash classics on your channel.
Yeah; I have a few questions... Why is in some scenes the main antagonists suddenly buddies with him? And then by episode 5 the one who sided with dust is once again trying to kill him?

I do love the framerate, give it such a weird, jiggly weight to every motion and it makes everything seem so hefty.

An absolute classic series. I've still yet to see anything that manages to step up to it's choreography
Check out Bridge Mankind Collapse

You can see a Graffiti saying scratch was here when first seeing the helicopter for the first time (the guy that was supposed to be in the prequel)

Really dang awesome
Plus love your Snowball profile dude
I don't suppose it's possible to take a look into Xionic Madness?

I wonder if FanFiction can offer cool Bunny Kill stories.
Thing Thing being mentioned, I'm surprised not to see a video on that
Man I used to think the noses were mouths
I don’t know why
when people realize that bunnykill is 15 almost 16 years old
Huh, how very interesting, I wonder if he will ever do Animation again? Probably not.
Hm, say, how about covering Xionic Madness at some point?
I'll make sure Xionic Madness is included in the Madness Flashlight pt 2 video :)
Probably why Aubrey's so mean in real life.
Bunny kill 5 was my favorite.
Can you do a history about an old flash series called ThingThing?

It infuriates me that people thought BK was a copy of Madness. BK was distict since episode 1.
this is still tamer than water ship down
It bothers me to know this became such a negative thing for him. These animations, to this day, are some of the pound for pound best I've seen.
Love me a good 2 left thumbs video
