Just as brilliant a series as I remember. People who waited years for the likes of John Wick don't realise what they were missing out on in the mid-to-late 2000s with flash animators on Newgrounds. This fight choreography was seriously impressive in the latter half episodes- the effects, too. Not sure if I've ever seen any independent 2D animation that's ever really topped this action.
Check out "Ninja Action 7" It's an animation that came out like almost a year ago? I can't find any of the previous episodes but the animation style is very unique. You'll like it I think.
Bunny kill 5 was so unique in the manner that everything was done. If anything, the entire series. The soundtrack matched the animation in such a god-tier way. Fun Fact: There was actually a Madness Combat collab dedicated to Bunnkill, but got a lot of criticism because it felt too much like Madness, rather than Bunnykill. Goes to show the Bunnykill was unique in its own manner. Bunnykill was not just revolved around one specific angle of combat, but rather a multitude of ways enemies had entered the scene.
Bunnykill 4 and 5 are, IMO, the best violent online animations hands down. The choreography is beyond impressive. 44:58 to 45:30 is one of my favorite examples, it’s brilliant how all the moving parts (like the shield) work together in that scene.
I don't particularly agree, Madness definitely holds up very strong against this, but one advantage this one definitely has over madness is the expressiveness of all the characters. See, in madness, due to how the characters are designed, actually letting them express emotion is really hard. Only Sanford, Tricky and the Auditor can emote with their faces. Whenever Krinkels (or any fan, for that matter) wants to show emotion with a character, they have to get creative. With this series, even though the expressions are still simplistic, they're still much more expressive than the madness series, and I think that's why I overall prefer this one despite there being only five episodes.
I think what I like about Bunnykill more than Madness combat is the focus on precision and movement. I feel like in Madness, especially in the later entries, a lot of the enemies are just fodder to be killed and dont really do much. In bunnykill, the enemies are extremely active and actually give the main characters some sort of challenge.
If you focus on one of the minions, instead of the main character, you will notice they never stand around wasting time. They are always doing something that makes sense, like attacking or reloading, and yet Snowball still destroys them 100vs1
Loving the way that movement is used so much as opposed to the more ‘sit still and shoot’ of madness combat, it’s especially fitting given it features bunnies, a species widely considered to be the most agile
@@michaelgum97 hank had to dedicate to a flip or some gravity-defying dropkick to use his feet in certain episodes, having actual legs made a whole difference
