- Diving into a new challenge! When the opportunity to compete in the olympic swimming trials came along, Lucy wanted to test herself and see if a triathlete can really compete against the best swimmers in the country!
From pain cave to pool - follow her adapted training plan, channeling everything to work on improving the swim discipline. Focusing on swim sessions and strength training, with bike and run sessions used to play into optimising the 1500m. We also take a behind the scenes look at nutrition and hotel quarantine life.
Is it really possible for a triathlete, former swimmer, to find her feet again in the pool and get back up to speed?

LCB, your swim is so destructive, IM is going to force you to start Kona with the pro men. Congrats on your 1500 time trial. Lava Java, I hope they are open for Kona this year. It's always a fantastic time to stand in line and chat with everyone, including pros waiting for a recovery shake. Especially after bike check in. Slainte!

Good Luck! Tons of great info in this video. Would love to get more detail into your nutritional planning. The idea of popping a plate into the micro leaves a lot to the imagination. A pint of Ben and Jerry's...that I can relate to :)
