A one man walking musical revolution...Respect for the poet that he truly is,music is his medium,.You got the fear,illegal attacks etc,the mans always right on it!!Never kissed corporate ass like most of the others!!
give your credit cards a shake....
as soon as the beginning notes of the song started, i got the chills. everyone has their off singing days, but ian brown's a legend and no one can forget that.
LOL XFACTOR?! WHO WOULD BE DUMB ENOUGH TO EVEN TRY AND COMPARE IAN BROWN TO ANYONE OFF OF THAT SHOW?
That bass man🔥🔥🔥
This is probably the best version of a Roses song he's done as a solo artist, voice is superb. Cracking. Also, what a drummer...who needs Reni.... ;o)
Just my opinion, I went and watched him the other week in Liverpool and it's really not upto much, not compared to 12 yrs ago but his style of singing is gonna take it's toll on his voice
The bird at 2:25 is Lauren Laverne used to be the singer in a shit Britpop band called Kenicke, and now has a slightly less offending job as a presenter / journalist for 'British Youth' programmes. Normally one of the presenters on telly for Glastonbury Festival.
Ian Brown, is a fucking legend....what the hell else can i say?????

i spotted the girl from the sugababes nodding her head,cmon everyone in the music business knows the stone roses songs,death cab for cutie,quite a big american band cover this song,type it in and you will see.
He still has his voice; sounds just as good as at Blackpool.
@mileyoreilly07 John Squire does deserve something; your absolutely right. But John is more of an introvert which is why he doesn't get as much recognition. Ian is still brillant.
@themahermax You obviously take the word idiot to heart... There may be a reason for that. Your grammar and punctuation are brilliant though, good for you.
That would be the music industry.
You know everyone there will be taken classes from A to D Drug dealers be making a good fortune out of that place lol

That was Teddy Sheringham at 04:34 right!?
2:02
That is just fucking MINT!!!
Noel isnt shite hes a brilliant musician but when it comes to the swagger that liam is 'known' for, hes gotten than from Ian
It's a crime that Oasis/Noel aren't already on the list if you ask me.
quality
why bother comparing? I totally disagree that UK bands or artists are better than US bands. Its all based on the individual group and those who like them or dont like them. You can say thaty yes in the 90's bands like Oasis, Stone Roses, Blur etc were huge in the UK. But the US had their own revolution in music with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains etc... They weren't better or worse just different.
@bodyke4life Is that Heidi Range?
4.23 secs teddy sheringham in the crowd
He presented the award
@leemcqueen500 Looks like I struck a cord with the Bloody English. Nothing like a 'spirited' music debate with 'royalty'. I will concur that the English break newer music and better artists than the pop crap that is here in the States. No argument. I guess I am bitter because The Gallagher Bros pulled the chute twice and cancelled shows I was supposed to see in the mid-90's. That doesn't play well here, and not sure it would in England. The Roses could have and should have been GREAT. EOD!
your not wrong son, oasis are the best
difference between the stone roses and oasis is noel gallagher.
i wanna be dudley moore
@DDDoppleganger1 ........Yip u defo are m8

thought he was on about coke heads??
thats just my opinion
where r these guys from???
Stardust
liams s twin brother
I also think its fair to say that the music scene in the US and the UK is shit now. We have yet to have any band from the US or UK in the last 10 years that has changed music or influenced the current generation. Music is now watered down,commercial shit that is only popular if it gets hits on You Tube or Itunes. That doesnt make a good band. You need a band that changes music and creates a singular moment when they define the generation and a concert that is remembered as an epic event.
