- Hello! This video compiles five wellness habits to try for a better you in 2015. Habits are the building blocks to your lifestyle, so it’s important to choose your habits wisely! This year I’m in the process of releasing negative habits and inviting positive habits into my life. This list is just a starting point. Remember to start small, work on only one or two habits at a time and make sure you’ve committed to them fully before starting to add new ones. Good luck!

Amazing! I love the gratitude list and the meditation. I do prayers also, and supplications - stress relife, and relaxing
This video is stunning. I've done a lot of these habits in the past but then when I get stressed or too busy I drop them and retry them again later. It's a bad cycle. I'm going to try and add them back into my routine and make them stick with the habit stacking technique you mentioned in a different video.

Oh I loved that "Habits make up your lifestyle, choose wisely" sentence! I added evening jogging to my daily routine this year, it started to make me feel more more more more alive than I was before. To be honest, I've always aimed to meditate and drink more water. But I always fall off the wagon, normally during tough times. Since I'm going through one of those times now, I'm gonna try follow this list (perhaps leaving the oil bit for now). Starting tomorrow.

Hey! Great tips all of them really help. But Castor oil is better for oil pulling as it is more effective in removing all the toxins from your body and saliva. But it tastes really bad!!

I'm going to drink more water this year and exercise more. Since I'll be exercising more I'll also be working on my stretching before and after workouts. I'd like to start doing some form of meditation, but I don't really know what to do haha. Do I just sit and think about stuff? Do I try to think about nothing? For how long? haha the list goes on.
I practice Zen meditation. You just sit down on a chair (for beginners) or on the floor with legs crossed (for intermediates) or in a lotus position (for pros) and focus on your breath. Breathe deeply from your stomach. I also count to 10 and focus on a point on the other side of the room (or open space) which is near enough to focus on but far and fuzzy enough so that my brain doesn't start to dive into details.
The purpose of meditation is to calm your mind so that when thoughts arise try to let them pass and focus on breathing again or your surroundings, but don't look around. Start with a few minutes per day and gradually practice longer. I started with 10 minutes once a day. Now I do 20 minutes twice a day (40 in total) after a year and a half.

+brianna prosper I tried it for a few weeks but I've stopped just because I changed up my morning routine and oil pulling took too long. I believe it does help! Watch holistichabits' video on it - her teeth are amazing haha

I heard about the coconut oil that whitens teeth! It's been something that I really wanted to try, no clue where to buy it though.
and does it actually whiten teeth? did you notice any improvements
you can get coconut oil in most grocery stores! I'm not sure I oil pulled consistently enough to see whitening results, and I wasn't really paying attention haha. I'm more interested in the health reasons, removing bacteria and toxins in the mouth.
