Thanks for stopping by. Did mean to do a quick intro to tell you all that I was going to edit a picture but completely forgot to do it…so I apologize for the sudden “so here we are in adobe bridge “
As I tell my kids …..stay away from gin!😀😀😀

Very interesting to see how you transform photos in post. Your new laptop looks brilliant and well worth the outlay. Not to self…start saving!

Hi Richard! Glad to see the new computer working out for you! Seems like a dream scenario for editing and goes to show how a computer is every bit as important for photography these days as everything else. Hope you're doing well!

Thanks so much Blaine. Yes you are right about the computer. So impressed with this Macbook. Today was the fastest edit I have ever done. Wouldn’t have been possible with my old set up. I’m fine thanks. Hope you are doing well too👍😀🙏

Hi Richard, I finally got here lol. That is a beautiful shot. I'm not good at editing, I don't understand a lot of the features on the editing software so that doesn't help. I need to spend some time learning when I'm not in a rush....😀

Hi Susie. Nice to see your comment. Hope you are well. Yes editing software can be intimidating. I still have a lot to learn. Software can’t rescue a bad shot though so we still have to get it right when we take the shot in the first place. Anyway thanks for the comment Susie and have a great week!🙏😀👍😁👌

Nice shots Richard. It’s amazing how you can transform an image on the computer but you may have been talking Chinese as far as I was concerned. My computer understanding is zero. Your image didn’t need much attention and I find my pictures are the same apart from a crop. I watched Duade Paton this morning and what amazes me with his raw pictures is just how bad they are. The end result is good but he could save a whole lot of editing if the original was more natural. Your Mac looks like a very good investment. Cheers.

Thanks so much Laurence. My mum said exactly the same thing as you in that I may as well have been speaking in Chinese. She doesn’t understand anything I say when I mention specs or technical stuff but is happy to see me on screen with me being so far away. The Mac has been my best photography investment for a very long time. Can’t believe the difference in speed. Thanks again🙏😀👍

Very nice you enjoy the OM-1 or Nikon better? I know the OM-1 has a much better focusing system than the Z6.

Thanks very much. There is really no comparison. The OM1 AF is in a different league. I rarely use the Nikon but thought I would give it a go today as I was only heading out for an hour or so. The images it produces are lovely though🙏😁

Yeah …sorry about that. Kind of decided to do the video last minute and as each beer went down the direction and focus of the video kind of went off piste. I’ll try to be slower and clearer next time👌😄
