Well I tested the gun on this jet and it seemed to completely destroy the hydra really quick. Just saying that the guns suck and not testing them against anything doesn't help anyone

Absolutely love this plane - a nice homage to the Mig15. That said I wish it would have come equipped with a 37mm autocannon rather than the weak machine guns it has now. Dogfighting in one of these is difficult.
i'd buy this plane just for the looks, no missles or drop tanks, give it smoke and just have fun doing casual dogfights or airshows. i have my b11 for air combat, and if someone gets after me i could just eject and use boom sniper

Just to say I hope you see this but in the hangar you can store all of your Pegasus vehicles, customise them and they're still accessible when you call Pegasus so if you wanted to you could put 2 hydras in your hangar so you can access 1 when it's blown up or have 2 different colours! It's so cool!
One thing i kinda like with the Molotok is that it has pretty good brakes combined with being quite small. This makes it possible to land the thing quite easy at places where some other planes wouldn't be able to do so
I wouldn't want to see explosive rounds on the Molotok, but a more powerful cannon would be nice. The machine guns are weak as hell when compared to the firepower of the Lazer or Hydra.
I got this jet on discount and absolutely love it, it looks nice and handles well and the guns in the nose of the jet will make the jet more accurate, the turning speed is slow compared to a rogue but it still good at maneuverability, better than a rogue, plus it’s faster and quicker take off time and has the best brakes. I do not regret getting this jet

Better agility and what feels like a tighter turning radius makes it great in a turn fight plus its smaller size and ability to ascend straight up allows you to get the much needed drop on a hydra
Well I have it now. Ive wanted a jet that would be better at attacking ground targets than the Hydra and it seems that the Molotok was right for me in that sense. It doesnt stall as easily as other jets do, you can fire a barrage of missiles like the savage and this sometimes even locks onto ground targets, it can actually fly straight up whereas the Hydra can't, and its easy to land eventhough it cant hover. Plus the Hydra doesnt have flares
This plane, either a MiG 15 or MiG 17 was not able to be fitted with guided rockets. The first Soviet MiG to befitted with these rockets is a double engined MiG 19 PT, but still its whatever
Its more MIG15, but guided missiles could be retrofitted, shame its the unguided rocket pod that is actually fitted, but maybe its a future variant in this fantasy world.

The Molotok is a pretty good jet, transport-wise. It's the only jet that can glide, even with its engine turned off/dies. And it's so easy to land that it breaks the laws of physics. Even if I'm doing a nose-dive to the ground, I can pull down the gears, pull out of the dive, brake then gently glide to the surface.

Ye, pretty powerful vehicle. However, it is insanely expensive as it is and it also requires a bunker/trailer to do the upgrades that cost a fortune as well. It is worth only if your ultimate goal is to stomp other players in a lobby session. Other than that I don't see how this vehicle is useful. Yes, it can make some missions easier but it will take a lot of time to recover the money you spent on it...IMO it is not worth.

The missiles on this thing are pretty great actually, the fire rate are way better than the hydra and the tracking of them are pretty fantastic in my opinion. I was actually able to win dogfights with a hydra because it's just an onslaught of them the hydra has to keep up with.
The defense upgrade is the only thing that make it worth buying for. This dlc encourages players to kill one another and this plane would be our best method of survival.

Do the steal missions and find out which ones u like. It's fun to have a variety and not just the same Hydra you've had for years. Starling is different enough to enjoy a new experience imo.
You missed MULTIPLE things about the V-65 Molotok :The machine guns can shred aircraft in a matter of seconds and are more precise with the fact they are centered :The Molotok shoots missiles 2x as fast as the hydra, since the hydra has a cool down and the Molotok does not The Molotok goes faster at hight altitude, and slower at lower altitude, allowing it to beat the hydra in a race at high altitude, and finally :The Molotok is the best beginner plane being quite easy to master landing, shooting, as well as gliding if the engine shuts off.

I really like this aircraft, i only use jets for flying around just for fun not for griefing and, also collecting aircrafts and this plane fits perfectly to my aircraft collection.
To consider as well: To buy this thing you first need a hangar for an average of about 2M To upgrade it you need a hangar upgrade for 1.1M =Real price around 7M. It can be more expensive than a Yacht.
As an avid War Thunder player, putting machine guns on a plane meant to pay homage to a 50s-60s-era MiG is straight-up offensive. And the aileron rolls. Way too fast.

The Customization is lackluster for the Hydra, Savage, and Cargobob from my experience.

Ye, pretty powerful vehicle. However, it is insanely expensive as it is and it also requires a bunker/trailer to do the upgrades that cost a fortune as well. It is worth only if your ultimate goal is to stomp other players in a lobby session. Other than that I don't see how this vehicle is useful. Yes, it can make some missions easier but it will take a lot of time to recover the money you spent on it...IMO it is not worth.
its basically a transportation jet its very easy to land, its small and can outrun missiles, if youre a grinder its a must-have

The missiles on this thing are pretty great actually, the fire rate are way better than the hydra and the tracking of them are pretty fantastic in my opinion. I was actually able to win dogfights with a hydra because it's just an onslaught of them the hydra has to keep up with.

The defense upgrade is the only thing that make it worth buying for. This dlc encourages players to kill one another and this plane would be our best method of survival.

Do the steal missions and find out which ones u like. It's fun to have a variety and not just the same Hydra you've had for years. Starling is different enough to enjoy a new experience imo.

You missed MULTIPLE things about the V-65 Molotok
:The machine guns can shred aircraft in a matter of seconds and are more precise with the fact they are centered
:The Molotok shoots missiles 2x as fast as the hydra, since the hydra has a cool down and the Molotok does not
The Molotok goes faster at hight altitude, and slower at lower altitude, allowing it to beat the hydra in a race at high altitude, and finally
:The Molotok is the best beginner plane being quite easy to master landing, shooting, as well as gliding if the engine shuts off.

I really like this aircraft, i only use jets for flying around just for fun not for griefing and, also collecting aircrafts and this plane fits perfectly to my aircraft collection.
With the exception of the drop tanks, i fully upgraded my Molotok with the most expensive ones making it an absolute beast!

To consider as well:
To buy this thing you first need a hangar for an average of about 2M
To upgrade it you need a hangar upgrade for 1.1M
=Real price around 7M. It can be more expensive than a Yacht.
As an avid War Thunder player, putting machine guns on a plane meant to pay homage to a 50s-60s-era MiG is straight-up offensive. And the aileron rolls. Way too fast.
Does buying armor for your plane actually add some degree of missile/rocket durability? And how many rockets can you take before getting wasted?

So u are reviewing the MiG-15 or MiG-17 i can't tell.
IRL the MiG has 2 20mm cannons and 1 37mm cannon.
One thing about the molotok, it can take 2 explosive hits to the hydras 1 (it might even take 3, but it beeps like a tank at 2)
Don't forget it can spam missiles unlike the hydra as it shoots 2 missiles only
