- In this video I take a look at the Mogul a small bomber plane added as part of the Smuggler's run DLC in GTA Online!
I test its performance, weapons and defense and see if the plane is worth the 3.1 million asking price!

I bought this plane initially just for the looks and the goofs with friends, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by just how quick and nimble this plane actually is. Also one major thing I noticed is that it's actually a lot easier to land than most of the new planes, making it a pretty viable option for a lot of resupply missions and such.
PietNeerschiet i agree bought this with a discounted price for 1.4 mil and i gotta say its not as bad as anyone says it is its a fun skirmisher fighter more agile than its bodyweight which is a much bigger plus people say that vehicles like this are useless... if it can be fitted with guns its not useless stupid fucks
This plane is so damn weak. You cant even do the delivery mission where you have to do the five deliveries with it without the engines dying because of police helicopters shooting at it.
Kyle Coyne Guess R* was thinking that most of the time players would working Co-op but for that sell mission it's shit.
Kyle Coyne I tried it, immediately went back to using the hydra for the missions.
Yeah I tried to do it by myself and it fucked me over because of fucking police helicopters. I couldn't call Lester to remove the Wanted Level so I was screwed. All I have to say is FUCK the Delivery Missions for the Smuggler's Run this is not the best way to make money.
Kyle Coyne you know that's because the plane doesn't have any armour upgrades, in fact I don't even think it has any upgrades

The delivery version has no upgrades and is quite vulnerable to bullets but has explosive resistance.
The buyable version has armor, engine, handling, bombs, countermeasures and weapon upgrades for the front and gunner machine guns. Is vulnerable to explosives but can survive a lot of bullets.
Still can't get over the fact that Pyrerealm is excellent enough to wrap this information up in 1 video, 3 minutes and not 7 videos, 10 minutes each.

I prefer keyboard only flying controls tbh. Although if I had a working flight stick I'd be using that. I'd love a wheel to drive with as keyboard driving sucks, but oh well.

I think this DLC is more for the fans of WW2 and Korean War aircraft. This plane in particular can be very easily identified as the B-34 Medium American Bomber from WW2.

This is based of the Beechcraft a Model 18, so I love it! I fly mine often.

This is technically the only plane with an auto-pilot, at least when I played GTA the last time back in 2017/18! When you open the bomb bay and are in that downwards view, the plane will fly straight forward and avoid terrain by itself. Pretty neat if you want to check something else, unlike other aircraft where you have to come back every few seconds to avoid crashing!
This is also the case for the Streamer216, which was added in the Mercenaries Update
@@CptnWolfe haven't tried that one yet. Turns out all aircraft that can drop bombs by operning the hatch has this auto-pilot feature, at the time I wrote this comment I hadn't played GTA in YEARS (probably 6 or so) and the last time I played I believe Mogul was the first and only one to have the bomb bay.

Fun fact with the mogul if you have bombs there is a detail where of you look in the back of the plane you can see bombs a nice detail that most people don’t see

The plane I think is based off the C-47/McDonell Douglas DC-10.

I just got the mogul earlier today, I’ve wanted to get it for a while but I only had enough now and personally I think it’s pretty good on my first flight I got hit with and oppressor missile and survived but the engines were completely destroyed the flaps were all but gone and another missile hit me a few seconds later 😂 it was very interesting to se though, she’s a tough old bird for sure

They shouldn’t have released 2 crap planes in a row. Nokota would have been the perfect plane since they want to save the Hunter for last and Vigilante for Halloween. Those are the only ones I’m looking forward to.
i have a feeling that rockstar is getting a little 'to' realistic with there game, IE the prices for the toys, come on rockstart! your just giving off obvious signs of money hogging!!! I know you got to make money on your game but at least make it a little fair!
The artificial inflation in this game is horrible. It's an absolute grindfest.
I really want rockstar to add war servers where everyone is split into 1 of 2 teams and you have to battle for various objectives around the entire map. You can use any weapons or vehicles that you own including CEO vehicles. It's a same that they add all of these combat vehicles with nowhere to actually use them against other willing players.

Emirsonn Ali let's be a bit realistic I think it should be so 1.5 mio but 3 mio is a price of a hanger if you did the 3rd heist ( I I only did the 1st one and I'm lvl 108 lol) so it isn't worth wasting 3 mio on it

I use the mogul with some friends and we took down a rogue and damaged a hydra tryhard to where they had to get another hydra. My friend who pilots usually can kill someone if their close enough or a lucky shot and the gunner can usually hit ground targets when we knife edge and its easy to dodge rockets and the flare system. The only weakness is the armor we usually will go down after someone hits the engines with a sniper or fmj rounds enough

Okay this plane I fucking hate right now because last week when I was about to sell my Narcotics they gave me this plane to do the delivery but then when I was in the sky I got a 4 star Wanted Level and then police helicopters were chasing me and because I was in a Solo Public Lobby I had no one to protect me. I tried using the machine guns but they didn't do any damage whatsoever. So then my plane started to smoke and then it went into the water and got destroyed.
Seriously FUCK the Delivery Missions for Smuggler's Run they are such bullshit no matter how hard you try to them Solo. I didn't had any trouble with the Import/Export, MC Business, or Gunrunning Stock when selling so then why the fuck is the Smuggler's Run so hard to even do? This is by far the WORST DLC to make money.

This this is true, this was actually unfortunately the first business that i started however I recently started importing and exporting vehicles which is so much better than smugglers run I wasted 3.5 mil on the hangar
Owen Brown Not wasted. You can buy, store and modify plenty of aircrafts in it. The FZ hangar is expensive but worth it.
If anything I've used the rogue before and this has good dive bombing capabilities like the rogue it falls fast and you can hit the target quit before they pop off a RPG and the ball turret allows for a gunner to strafe the target as your going in for the dive so it's a good plane to me
Honestly this and the Tula are my two favorites, yes the planes are faster but for a casual gamer who sometimes joins up with randoms it's a good Ariel party bus

In the featured mission this thing is horrible to use unless you have a gunner. Rockstar must be smoking crack if they think a bomber plane is the best to use for an escort mission. Another weakness for this plane is that if you have only one other person with you and hes on the turret you cant dump flares (this also affects the Tula). I think Ill just wait for the Pyro and Nakota idk.
I love how everyone hates on it because Its not hydra standards, understand its a WW2 PLANE not exactly your normal jet, also planes weren't that advanced then either, also I love the plane great for bombing runs with friends for that WW2 feel

Liked the video but I’m still looking forward to the hunter. I did the smuggler’s run missions and I tested the hunter 3 times (when it was available) and I like it. Just wish that rockstar put it in the game already cause I think the the hunter maybe better than the savage.

ThatGuy872 That's why the Bombushka is just as useless as the Mogul when flying alone. By all means necessary, save up for the Hunter.
Speaking of the Bombushka, if you're piloting the bomber during the Bombushka Run missions, you'd better hope that your teammates aren't AFK or incompetent shooters. Or else, there's absolutely no way to defend yourself.
Do you expect a 1930s- Early 1940s era bomber aircraft to handle and be as fast as a 5th generation fighter jet? Of course not.
They should add a stealth bomber jet that is 5 million dollars, but you are permanently off the radar once your inside, you cannot be locked onto, it's REALLY FAST, and it can slow down and drop precision carpet bombs. As well as cannon and missiles to use for aerial combat.

The Bombuska is at least on my top 5, with gunners is pretty much the AC-130 from CoD
Rouge is quite versatile, but nothing great about it
Tula IMO is the best one from the DLC, is the one that i find the most interesting

The only reason to pick this plane over the rogue would be to seat extra passengers. Id rather use a rogue which is faster, able to fit explosive canons on to it, and its a smaller target.

Why exactly would you get this instead of the Tula? handling/size/speed? I mean at least with the Tula you can land it anywhere via VTOL (including the water) and otherwise it does everything else exactly the same.
