The planes included in this video are the Raiju, Hydra, Laser,Tula,Molotok, Mogul, Seabreeze, B11 Strikeforce, Pyro, Nokota, Starling and the rogue!

Alpha Z-1 is the best dogfighter when you accept that you are the missile. It's my favorite for messing with griefers cuz it outruns and out turns rockets so you can just keep them distracted while other folk get their shipments done.

Yes the Raiju is faster and more agile but the b 11 is actually a better dog fighter because of it's features (my opinion)

While Starling is both too fast or too slow is most cases, it is ideal when you want to glide slow enough to free-aim missiles at ground players/targets, or when your hangar is surrounded by hostiles and you want to take off and boost straight out of the hangar and into the max altitude, avoiding anything below.
The problem of the Starling is once your airborne, you cant land anymore 😂😂

@@RodrigoPereira-bz9ri you can land it really easily by slowing down as you approach the ground then pull the nose up, let it stall out and fall tail down towards the ground, then when it touches the ground it'll land flat anywhere. I can literally park mine on a car space

I've grinded the hangar cargo when it was worth 2X, and yeah, starling is a bit wonky, but it doesn't differ much grom other planes.(was using keyboard)
The reason the b11 turns so tight is because at low altitudes it’s the slowest, allowing it to turn more… same at higher altitudes. Speed has alot to do with it. The raiju is just fast and still super maneuverable, would be interesting see those two two go at it
I have a b-11 and went against the new jet and won. We were both experienced dog fighters.

I found myself winning against random try hards in the b11. As long as you can track em good you’ll win most times
If you're in the B-11 up against someone that doesnt know how to use VTOL its an easy win. If they know how to use VTOL, no chance.

The avenger can also be spawned while you have a personal vehicle out that you can drive to it. Or you can use the storable thruster to go to it.
Not to mention if you just fly in a straight line homing missiles won't blow you up, they're lock on and follow you but just simply won't blow you up for whatever reason
The rogue is pretty top tier, you just need to fly it unlike the others. As in take more advantage of the rudder being super strong rather than the usual circling any other jet does by just rolling 90 degrees and pulling up.
I have yet to lose to the new jet in my rouge. Even when it was a 2v1

The Rogue is genuinely the best of them all. Maybe being snuffed out in features, but other than that, this plane cam go head to head against all the other aircrafts and come up on top. Its probably an aircraft you need to learn to fly before you get the best of its abilities. The rutters are the main party piece of it, since its very very twitchy, but very responsive.
Yeah, I would think you would need to learn to fly any aircraft.

The Hydra has an exploit that allows you to fly faster than any missile in the game, but you can catch it on a turn if you estimate well.

Even sadder part of the Raiju being practically invulnerable to machine guns is it seems pretty hard to snipe someone out of the cockpit because of the seat

I was about to say with the upgrades the Avenger is probably the most all around perfect aerial vehicle. It's durable enough to tank 20 plus missiles, it has turrets, bomb bays, and now pilot controllable missiles and machine guns. In addition to the extensive arsenal and durability it now has the option of stealth mode being completely off the map. You can fit an APC or a tank in it, have an integrated thruster jet pack, it's just perfection all around.
Until you get a glitched one and it explodes after being hit with a single rocket.

@@ThePartisan13 it happens to me consistently lol. I've also owned mine for years. I'd say it's at least a 1in 10 chance of spawning a glitched avenger, it's just not noticeable because it only happens with rockets, not bullets or collisions.

It's definitely not the best, but it's up there, it is, however, the most versatile
Not sure if it’s well known but the sea breeze can actually dive into the water as long as you don’t hit upside down. it sounds like just some fun but if you get used to it you can use that to get behind a plane that’s right behind you.
Water-breaking with the Seabreeze just hits that tiny itch in my brain
In my professional opinion i say that the lazer, rogue and starling are the only ones that stand a chance to the Raiju mainly the starling but to take full advantage of the starling capabilities ot takes a hell of a pilot same with the raiju.
Edit : the B-11 is very good close combat but also depends on the pilots.

@@carlossandoval1007 i just peace keep lobbies so I only kill ppl that are killing other people with an unfair advantage such as using a tank or a jet to grief low lvls or ppl doing cargo and i believe that the community should unite in to shaping the new jet as a symbol of peace instead of the new symbol of grieffing.

@@aces3659 it certainly has a great advantage when it comes to the machine gun but if they lead you to low altitude or hit your tail you are basically done for, i already fought some b-11 and the fact that you can speed away and come back to hit them makes the b-11 a bit of a sitting duck, id say your odds are better using the barrage missiles than the machinegun actually. But of course theres always a lot of variables most times the dogfight winner is determined by the one that can inflict the first hit however the b-11 is rather large and slow, putting it against a raiju is literally dogfighting a F-22 vs a A-10 i dont think the A-10 would be able to hit the raptor and the same is kind of true here.

Despite the fact the Hydra is no longer viable in dogfighting, I'd still say it's good for early beginners who need a versatile and fast vehicle, but don't have the cash to shell out some of the better options. It could be used for some Heist preps or Businesses until they get enough cash to get a Mk II or a better VTOL.
I've used the Hydra (and also the Buzzard) as a CEO for at least five years and I can say, they are the best things you can buy to get things done. :D

The hydra is a bit faster than the buzzard but it’s twice the price as well so beginners might not want to buy the hydra. And why would a pvp beginner buy a plane that makes him loose every fight in the air??
All right, y'all made your points. I was thinking back to when the Hydra had the OP cannons, so that's why I preferred it for Freemode work over the Buzzard.
@@the_letti0584 A PvP beginner will lose many fights in GTA whatsoever until they get a hang of it. Even if they buy the best stuff early with Megalodon cards, they still need some skill to use the vehicles. What I mean is, both the Buzzard and the Hydra are nice, but the Hydra is definitely worth buying, even for beginners, when they are CEOs. They only need a bit of personal training to use it properly and it's definitely worth the money. The Lazer for example is overrated. I mean, it's good in dogfight, but only in the hands of people who know how to fly.

The one thing the hydra still has going for it is the hover mode speed trick, compared it to the raiju and it smoked it in a straight line and even in a practical grinder sense with a business battle test hydra vs raiju going from cluckin bell to del perro nightclub, the speed advantage ended up so both jets still landed and got the crates delivered at the same time. Raiju only catching up due to being faster to take off and land.
I loved the Avenger part at the end but it's also true.
PRG, I dog-fighted a friendly random once with the Raiju and he had the B11 and he defeated me in turning 4 times and I defeated him 3 or 4 times only, because I used the Raiju's good power-to-weight ratio and went vertical and like you talked in your one video did a boom and zoom attack on him but stopped the dog-fight when another B11 intruded.(The way I talk in this comment is the way real pilots and war thunder players like myself talk)
Don't try the vertical trick with a Molotok, it can climb vertical with engines in idle. It CANNOT stall unless you stall it by airbraking.
The f-160 is amazing simply because you can go off radar and break visual contact easier. If u can’t see your enemy you can’t kill them.

B11 cannon is now the best all shots being down the middle makes them less likely to miss

With the raiju keep the engine slow and make sure not to hold the accelerator. If you don't touch it the raiju will turn better
The Top Dogfighters, in my opinion, are Rogue, B11 and Starling.
Of course, things like the Pyro, Lazer, Seabreeze or Raiju absolutely do perform well enough, those 3 just have that special something that goes beyond raw stats.
The only reason the Raiju is the best is because it’s so fast that it can get away from any plane, also it has stealth so you can just run away
That is not the only reason the Vtol is 1 big factor as well. With Vtol u ca brake check the other guy if he is chasing u and then ur behind him so u will get a easy kill. U cn also do like the enemy plane in top gun.
@@hugo-pg5tvyeah, entering VTOL mode, and pulling back on the stick makes the Raiju do Cobra maneuver.
Starling in my opinion is by far the best dogfighter. Best agility when it comes to getting behind any jet and or plane. The boost allows it to out maneuver and incoming projectiles on it ways. The boost also allows it to have fast take off. 5:25 I have managed to stay alive amongst 1v5s and come out on top. Also any Raiju has not jet successfully taken me down and their VTOL hasn’t changed the outcome.
Agree the fact that is doesn’t have explosive cannons is a negative but even against a Raiju I can still beat it with the starling it will just take a while. I will also say that I think the stark takes the most time to master

I find fighting the raiju in the starling to be rather better cause i took note on the invulnerability to bullets and aim for the cock pit and charged 3 raiju's with one starling and came out on top with pure luck and a little skill as well

Pyro is the best in my opinion , I take out f160 daily… I mean being off the radar is good but if you’re a good pilot you’ll start looking around your area vs staring at a mini map for the enemy
The best part of these DLC updates for me, is the new videos on GTA Online. It never get's old.
Everyone I can say rogue is the best. This plane has the best mobility in the game. Today I've win 7 dogfight with this plane and the person just rage quit he tried so much to kill me with the f 160 but fail every time. If anyone want to fight you fight him with the rogue

I really wish the MiG had atleast 1 explosive cannon. IRL it had twin 23mm and a single 37mm that could destroy a Sabres wing with 1 hit. Hard to aim but devastating if it hit. The P-51 could also get cluster rockets to make it more viable for air to ground. The rocket pods on it was modeled after the M8 unguided rockets and I really wish it had that feature. They made pretty good tank busters back in the day
As someone who only uses the Hydra for absolutely everything, I can tell you that regardless of what it's currently capability, the weapons power doesn't matter if you're a skilled enough pilot, even after the update I can hardly tell a difference in it's dogfight capability, it's very rare for me to get shot down, and utilizing the VTOL ability, it can easily become the scariest fighter jet in all of Los Santos, such as using it for sharper turns and to quickly lose altitude while being able to maintain position, not to mention because of it's VTOL, no ground target stands a chance, no matter where they are, it can maneuver though areas many other jets simply cannot because of their lack of combined ability of VTOL and fairly smaller build, I can tell you for a fact that it definitely deserves a higher spot on the list

I love the Raiju, very cheeky sneaky action perfect for an ambush. But you're right I stay away from the avenger if I suspect they have a gunner. MKII is also a bitch to try to hit with the cannon but since they can't really hit me ether I usually just ignore them or tell them they have to get some bigger toys if they want to play with the big boy's

rogue def underrated, I win against pre nerf hydra and lazer all the time because of its handling and still has explosive mg and countermeasures unlike the starling and is one of the fastest planes in the game

Hey Pryo we need the best dog fighting helicopter, also imo the normal annihilator is underrated af it might not have missiles but that quad mini gun definitely makes up for it

The Hydra is my opinion still viable if you know some advanced techniques.
The Nokota isn't that bad but the Rogue is pretty much the better version of it.
The Molotok, the Mogul and the bombushka are pretty much hopeless.
The Tula can land on water and has VTOL capabilities so at least it has some utilitary purposes for some missions.
The new plane (not the Raiju) looks but doesn't has anything that would justify buying it as everything it does, other planes can do it and sometimes better.
The Volatol and the Alkonost can only drop bombs wich makes them very limited. (The Volatol has turrets but they are not as good as the Avenger)

The avenger is top tier but in a different way, park it a mile in the sky, make sure you have the counter measures so you’re not on radar and get on turrets.
Nobody can get you if they can’t get close.
I would consider myself an experienced and rather skilled dogfighter in GTA V as I have been flying since the game came out and certainly have more air time than ground time. The V-65 Molotok and the P-226 Laser are my go to aircraft when I wish to dominate the skies. The Molotok has a nice speed, maneuverability and while it doesn't have the same explosive canon, it bears two gun in different calibers that will devastate any engine on any plane. Additionally the lock on rockets preform fairly well and better than expected. Chaff is my go to counter measure as it prevents lock on when I do low passes and I rarely find a plane behind me for long. Altitude is the V-65's ally, keep it low to blend with the buildings or way above everyone else, a dive in the V-65 in theory feels like breaking the sound barrier. In my personal research it can fly from the International Airport to the most northern point of the map in 2 mins at full throttle, more altitude helps too. Don't make the plane flashy, you want to be a surprise. Lastly for the Molotok, the landing surface required is minimal at most(I've landed on my yacht helipad and the maze bank helipad). V-65 preforms in Air to ground (Best) and Air to air (decently). Everyone knows the laser in a trained pilots hands is the best, no further comment on that.
ive always found the molotok's handling to be a bit sluggish, i have to do these crazy climbs and dives, loops and banks to make sure i stay behind them; like wrestling with my plane lol. somehow when im using it though, i feel like im staying on top of my game. considering buying it, any other tips?
@@duck966 If it feels sluggish on turns you are likely going full throttle on them or hitting the turn on an awkward angle. Mig’s are old gen and need the rudder to guide the turn. Carve into the turn instead of pulling into it. Lastly invert the plane on curves it adds speed, this will take practice.
@@duck966 Moral of the story dont take the turn with the horizon, level turns are too slow for it, take banking turns in simpler terms. Oh and do not go full throttle into the turn wait a second and begin throttle in the turn other wise it drags the tail out.

Whats better Rouge or seebreez
Since the raiju is immune to plane mgs, this leaves it with very few predators. Every other plane able to damage a raiju is too slow to catch up to a raiju
Now, a b-11 has the turn capabilities to kill a raiju, but it's surfaces are very breakable
What the raiju has is boom and zoom and otr. You do not often decide when a raiju fights you, it decides when it will engage you, which often more than not, it will take your tails and then go.
Raiju stops on a dime top thanks to vtol which is...wow.
It needs a rework, it's corporatized dogfighting in freemode as it stands
The thing with the mgs is that they allow you to shoot the pilot out of there plane. That's why some people say they would have prefered if the Lazer got mgs instead of this new explosive canons
@@cesaroyola5902 sure, but the average freemode pilot is not getting s cockpit snipe, while the average freemode pilot WILL get the drop on you in a raiju. Trust me, my friend circle is compotent pilots. Only reason people are easily killing raijus now are due to armor glitch and the fact we haven't even had the jet for a week yet

@@souljat1131 you'll have to practice using the back camera. On controller that's holding in the right stick. It's a pain in the ass to do that and mess with camera at the same time but it's a good skill to have
personally i still prefer the pyro and starling over everything else, the b11 is good for taking out the raiju sure, but i still easily take everything else in both the pyro and starling, and i can even take starlings in pyros, i think if the armor on the raiju was nerfed to a point were it had similar level of armor to the b11, maybe a bit better where it could take 150-200 mg rounds instead of them never even damaging it then it would be much better, and i feel like the lazer nerf was a bit harsh tbh since most other aircraft can take them out

Its als super small so its hard to find you in stealth mode (wich you can use weapons from) and you are harder to hit with cannons

As a really good dogfighter, I prefer the b11 or the(Military base) Lazer, for dogfighting, the Raiju is good but it needs to be mastered unlike the lazer and B11 which you can just fight and win

I defeated a raiju with my sparrow earlier today I didn't even use countermeasures
I took out the new fighter with my avenger. I rammed it. I also like chasing mk11's around and running them through the massive props. The avenger's ability to soak up punishment makes it a very good vehicle.
yeah avenger is hilariously overpowered in the air, I was literally ramming raiju's out of the air yesterday, pretty great.
The nakota can be very competitive with study, it's at the middle ground in terms of speed and agility but when you learn more about what they can't and can do you put them in situations where you excel.
The Nokota is at the bottom end when it comes to dogfighting. The only situations where it excels in is flying back to your hangar so you can grab an actually good dogfighter

I have been using planes/jets/any other fliying vehicle in this game since it came out and many other games like Bf4. So i always been a "dog fighter" im not the one that decides if im a pro player or anything like that, but here is my opinion based on all the time i been "dog fighting"
The b-11 has a faster turning ratio than the raiju which means that if you have a raiju behind you, you can easily get behind it and therefore "win the dog fight"
But also the Raiju its the fastest jet in the game (not counting the hydra speed glitch) so the Raiju pilot can just run away in stealth mode as soon as it realizes the b11 its geting behind it.
Also keep in mind that if you know how and when to use the VTOL mode you can do some nice maneuvers in your advantage.
Now about the Starling and the Raiju, i can say that the Starling will always catch you from behind, it has IMO the fastest turning ratio out of all the jets/planes so even tho you dont have explosive cannons with the Starling it will end up damaging the Raiju.
I know the boost of the Starling will end up getting empty, but as soon as you know how to manage it and how to quickly refill it mid air you are goot to go, and about the VTOL mode being used against the Starling, any experienced "dog fighter" would be able to hit you with a non lock on homing missile as soon as you get on a horizontal position.
And Finally the Raiju has very important advantages, the stealth mode can be used in the middle of the dog fight and can be used to confuse the other pilot and also can use its speed to get away from the fight even without the other pilot knowing, it happened to me a few times, i activated stealth mode and i flew away and the other pilot didnt even realize i wasnt even close to him so he just kept going on circles hoping i didnt hit him from somewhere.

I wouldn't worry about it. Most people's basic English, like spelling and especially grammar are atrocious these days even when it's supposed to be their first language.
As someone who has dogfighthed a lot in my gta days. I have chosen b-11 because of the turning radius.
Also, the explosive cannons are bad if you go against ground targets, but it is great against planes. This is because planes do not have the Armour and you do not need to hit many shots for a plane to start smoking.
i personally say avenger or raiju, raiju is just good because of speed, weapons, stealth, and vtol, but avenger can tank almost 3 jets at once, and if you dont have any luck with the missles, you can ram into the jets max speed and still take little damage, only if you have it fully upgraded, plus if you were about to go down, you could put it in auto pilot, go inside the bay, and drive a deluxo, tank, apc, or any type of fast car, or the thruster to make a quick escape to spawn something else
I'd like to see you go up against any half decent pilot in a B11 or something similar with a one man avenger and come out alive

Nakota is still a top 3 plane in the right hands. It takes an extremely skilled Raiju or pyro pilot to take one down. B-11s and Starlings are too slow/ run out of boost
Nokota is garbage, it doesn't take an "extremely skilled" Pilot, it takes a Pilot that even just somewhat knows what the hell he's doing

I would like to inform u that i love the nokata as I get multiple kills on jets, its probably my favourite fighter next to the pyro… I like planes where it take a few bullets to kill them, and they can slowly watch their plane be destroyed by my simple mashine guns 🤣
The Raiju wins every time because its stealth but if you go for a straight up fight b11 is the best its also the best against ground targets with it barrage rockets and needing 4 railgun hits to blow up.
The Railgun is honestly not that good. Only advantage to the RPG id that the projectile is slightly faster.

The missiles on the avenger are pretty good for ground targets and a scare for the air vehicles.

hydra- only for new players or those that are too broke for anything else, free but hard to get
starling- lack of explosive mg compensate for its small hitbox and good missle capabilities
raiju- better than the hydra, more used by rich players, stealth capabilities save your off the radar ability, and deadly if used with the right pilots
avenger- self explanatory
To be frank about the hydra, it is canonicaly from the 90's. Its old in real time and ANCIENT in universe
And the Rogue is pre-ancient egypt then? Yet it still annihilates most stuff. Being old is not an excuse for being mediocre

The Hydra always pissed me off, I can’t remember ever using the VTOL except back in 2015
This info is from someone that hasn't played in a long while with barely being brought to some speed. In my experience it never was "Which is the best?" and more or a "what attributes do you need to complement you?" . In my past experience it goes like this.
B11- Best survival rate and good generalist capable of doing 1v2 and beyond thanks to looseness and durability.
Pyro-Good get out of jail card being a jack of all traits, master of none.
Starling-Most capable jet once its limitations are mastered as its tight turning radios and missles means you always are behind the target with practice. The fights will last longer but you will never really lose a one on one unless personal pilot error.
Lazar-Former all damage leader, now more of a retired vet approach.
Hydra- The most accessible jet to call in until recently.
Raiju-I never used obviously but its ability to lose chasers with its high agility and velocity in cities and stealth mode shouldn't be questioned. It seems to be peak of all in on avoiding damage and giving it when it matters most.
Edit: If a jet/plane is not here, assume it is somewhere in between these above.

People seriously underestimate the Lazer post-nerf. It doesn't have the deathray anymore, yes. But it still has the most capable explosive MG pretty much. B11, Raiju Rogue, Lazer, Hydra. If the hit you once, you'll likely use some control. It has the long range type of tracker missiles, perfect for air-to-ground. And it still has it's good turning, dogfighting and stalling. Especially since many pilots have been Lazer enthusiasts since release - the raw mechanical skill on it didn't get nerfed
Nah bro id prefer a rogue over the raiju. The new jet is all over thd place when you're trying to make a sudden sharp turn. Its literally garbage. All it is good for is against npcs and to lose your wanted level in stealth mode.
B11 is still the best. Ove dogfighted it with every other plane including the new one,and ive had the most sucess with it.

The lazer is the best dog fighting jet hands down if you’re actually a good pilot but it can be hard to use compared to the hydra because of the manoeuvrability and you can’t strafe the canons as easily
Not anymore. Compared to the Raiju it's slower, less maouverable, much less armoured, lacking in VTOL, lacking in stealth and no better in terms of firepower.
I genuinely still believe the lazer to be the best jet, I havent had one raiju pilot beat me in a dogfight

IMO, that balancing failed big time by nerfing out those two classics that are the Hydra and Lazer. It would have been better to simply make not possible to go off radar or use CEO ghosting while flying weaponised aircrafts. I mean, we're not in 2015 anymore. We have now plenty of better armored and agile options out there, along with countermeasures and customisations. Plus we're paying good prices for modern stealth capable aircrafts, and it doesn't make any sense that old aircrafts can go off radar! Doing so would make possible to bring back the gun advantage to the Hydra and Lazer, and would potentialy increase the interest into stealth aircrafts and heavily armored vehicles. Also, guys on the ground are now able to defend themselfve good against those glass cannons, with the railgun and explosive ammo equiped heavy sniper riffle MKII.
Vtol tricks are the only reason I win against raijus, starling is still better, I just use uncustomised hydras cause its more fun basically fighting a bossfight
