Why doesn’t anyone understand that in GTA, the speeds of aircraft depend on altitude .. the pyro is MUCH quicker than the hydra when you’re above 1000ft. All aircraft are quicker higher up!

Almost everything slaps a hydra especially if you come up on the hydra from behind its game over those things move so slow still prefer it over the 6.5 lazer due to the vtol system

I dunno, I kinda like it. As you said, nothing special but when I'm playing with my girlfriend it'll be cool to ride together in a jet rather than taking the Rouge haha

This wins every time vs hydra. And is evenly matched with the laser. The only thing is you never get the kill because the non explosive rounds give op enough time to abandon their swiss cheese jet after you're done with them
Typically yes but if someone knows what they’re doing more than the pyro you can beat them with the hydra. Although that would probably have to be a competitive dogfighter vs a level 40
@@monkeman2.034 ha i wrote this a year ago. Now I'd say the pyro is better than the laser too. also i have never been beat by a hydra while using the pyro. that would take pure luck

Got it on discount today. My impressions:
It handles similarly to the Rouge, yet has the same armament as the Molotok.
It can still survive an explosive MG sweep but the engine will die soon afterwards.
I had my friend fight me with a hydra and neither one of us could ever land a hit at first. The missile launchers are only effective at mid range, at close range you will need to use guns.
I figured out that you can aim a little easier if you know when to use full throttle and when to cut back to idle.
And I guess the second seat will come in handy when you need to pick up a friend in a pinch.
The Pyro appears to be based off of the real life postwar de Havilland Vampire. The twin boom tail, side intakes, and rounded fuselage are unmistakeable.
The Pyro reminds me most the OV-10 BRONCO

The Pyro goes 218MPH in high altitudes, unlike the Hydra which is like 206MPH

This is actually a good counter for the opressor mk 2. Just avoid all of its missiles and when they run off, chase them down and destroy their vehicle.

umayrghouri you guys do realize these new jets and planes are all based off World War II and post war right? It would be so unrealistic if a jet that can’t even hit Mach 1 outclass a modernized machine of destruction.
Mr Kiwi I said that to people yet none of them listen, and adding explosive cannons will be one unrealistic and two, it'll just be the same as the Hydra.

With dogfights, in the end it comes down to pure pilot skill. A well skilled laser pilot that is in the slower jet could take down anything if they know what they are doing.
not really, a skilled pyro vs skilled lazer pyro would win. a skilled b11 vs a skilled lazer the b11 would win. a skilled starling would beat everything in the game
@@the47thsoldier67 the pyro actually has good competition with the starling. I am a very Skilled pyro pilot, and my friend is a very skilled starling pilot. Whenever we dogfight it’s always even score.
If the pyro can get behind the starling, then you can just spam missiles until the starling runs out of boost. The pyro is the only jet that can keep up in a dogfight. Starling is still very good though.
Again, very disappointed for the review, seems like everything you care about is releasing the video as fast as possible..

- No tips/tricks for using the plane

The Pyro is based on the P-38 Lightning. This was one of the most maneuverable and fastest planes of it's time. However, it's archilles heel is the twin tail booms. When turning and diving in dogfights, the airflow between the booms becomes unstable, even rolling back on itself, so it was prone to crashing by inexperienced pilots until they were better trained to deal with the instability. But once mastered, the P-38 was very deadly and the Germans learned to fear them very quickly
I highly doubt that it look way more like the dehavilland vampire (and the p-38 isnt one of the most manoeuvrable of its time)
Pyrerealm. You rush these videos out too much. I’d prefer quality over quantity, you finish the review saying the pyro is nothing special when if you tested it in a dogfight scenario. You would realise that the turning circle is much smaller than the hydras or lazers which allows it to easily get behind a hydra or laser and take it out with the cannons. And your so quick to write off non explosive cannons as useless, if you tested it the cannons are really effective for taking out enemy aircrafts. Your drag race test is inaccurate for planes as the pyro at this moment is the fastest jet in the game. This isn’t hate, but I just don’t like to see these half-assed reviews that tell the viewer nothing.

I love the Pyro but part of me really wishes it was prop and not jet, and based off the P38 Lightning. That thing was a killer warplane.

BH-_0LAW BaNgA well I have played the adversary mode and it isn't the best, but after flying it for yourself with the upgrades, it really is good. Yes it may be slower then the hydra, but faster than the lazer. I personally like this aircraft but that's my opinion.

when I flew this thing in a mission just to escape the airport and then I died because I tried to turn by banking 90 degrees and pulling up and I was like THE PLANE ITS ROLLING UNCONTROLLABLY and the team live saved me from being hated.
Idk what you’re talking about. I’m okay at landing planes, but since this thing is like the fastest jet in the game, it’s hard as hell to land perfectly. I bought mine 3 days ago, still have not gotten a perfect landing. Thats because this is the fastest f-ing jet in the game.

Actually the pyro is the fastest jet in the game you can see it in singleplayer with mods it s about 220-225 mph and the hydra is about 210-215 moh so it is faster
For those wondering its about 4.5 mil undiscounted and 3.3 mil discounted.
It's some bastardisation of a vampire, Venom and whatever the GTA online designer decided looks cool.

This plane feels like a copy and paste of the V65 Molotok. It has the same machine guns, missiles, and countermeasures, but it doesn't look nearly as badass. I honestly wouldn't drop a dime on this plane if you already bought the Molotok. It's just another plane keeping us from getting the vehicles that people actually wants to buy.

YES the starling is op that thing reks anything in the air. Oppressor? Chaff. Lazer? Machine guns. And its so small its hard to hit with cannons. And if they do hit you it can take 2 explosive cannon shots as opposed to the jets 1

got my lazer money ready,bought this too tho flies great,field tests when i wake up.had my friend try to kill me in a lazer,he couldn't see me at all,the maneuvering is insane on the pyro.

I’ve noticed that most of these planes in smuggler’s run are based off of real-life counterparts, like with this, it’s based off the British vampire, an early fighter jet and the molotok slightly resembling the P-51. Slightly.

In fact is this still the fastest plane but here it did not get tested on max speed altitude: on your radar above the 100 meters mark.

the molotok is based off of the mig-15 from the front and the f-86 sabre from the rear

To everyone whining about the bullets. These bullets do alot of damage and its the fastest and at least one of the most agile planes. As long as you can actually fly properly then get it you wont regret it however if you cant fly well don't bother stick to your hydra at least then you might stand a chance.
Modded the pyro into singleplayer, and (with menyoo) found it had the highest top speed of any plane. This was a week back though, I might be wrong

The lazer is 6 millions disappointment, i got melted fast by a mk supressor eventhough i was turning. With this i had an amazing fun, I could easily avoid the mk supressor spam and it will destroy the lazer in a dog fight
I like the pyro, a lot, getting behind hydras and lasers is so easy in this thing. At that point it's just funny making those pilots feel hopeless as dual 50. caliber machine guns make their engine cut out as their being chased by a swarm of missiles. That sense of dread in their faces, that sinking feeling, and that pilot blowing up in an explosion ripped straight from a Michael bay film. I just really like the pyro ok
