Hi donavan, I'm 51 years old this year and have not trained in tkd since I was a teenager. Your videos have now got me back to kicking at head height again. Excellent training tips, keep up the good work.

Just wanted to say thanks for this video, I have been having some time off training due to some foot surgery, I really wanted to get back to train tonight but it was not to be, but this work out gave me stuff to work on that was zero impact, which was awesome. Many thanks
Donavan - I love your videos! I’ve been following your channel for quite some time, since you had just a few followers - and now people are finding your great channel too!! I’m not a martial arts follower nor do I intend to be. But your videos are so great for the average person to increase flexibility, or if your loftiest goal is just to have an impressively high kick during a kickboxing exercise class. Thanks for creating these really helpful videos!!! 🙂
AH! Love getting comments from OG supporters. Thank you for sticking with me all this time. The growth has been incredible and it's going to be absolutely INSANE next year! I definitely plan on making my channel (Even) more on the entertainment/motivational side with a TKD twist. I want to spread laughter and positivity more than anything!
i really love it.. i am 32 years old and i'll work hard for get high kicks:)
I'm buckling down and working on this. For the longest time I've skipped working on the stabilizing muscles to focus intensely on stretching--long story short, I've tweaked something in my hips.
Thank you for creating this video--these exercises are so important!
So glad you find them helpful! Best of luck in your training!
I just wanted to say thanks and that you have amazing skills

thank you so much bro :)
Very helfull!! Thanks a lot :)
How often would you recommend doing this routine?
Big fan of your work and this is the first video I've seen that seems like an easy (in that I don't have to worry about ballance, and all that) way to improve my strenght for high kicks , Thanks!
I would try to do it 3-4 times a week for faster results! Thanks so much for the kind words :).
Will do!
Thanks for replying, and, man, you deserve all of those : )
Love your vids I am a newbie at teakwondo just feel in love with it and also enjoying the conditioning exercises that go with it Would you recommend with ankle weights?
I LOVE ankle weights! Just make sure they aren't heavy. No more than 3 lbs of weight because it's more important that you're getting the full range of motion when doing the drills and the weights may prevent that. You want just enough weight to give you a little resistance while still being able to have full range of motion. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the videos! The support means so much 💙
its actually really hard, but thats fine so i have something towards to work with. thanks donavan
Just make sure you go at your own pace! Good luck in your training!
can you do a video where you show your warm up routine before youre daily stretching routine???
Yes! I'll make sure I do that! Lots of tutorials and workouts are coming your way!

how do you make your leg swing high on first excersice

I've been doing this a long time! It just takes practice and dedication :)
In your opinion how much time would it take for a beginner with a little TKD experience to get to a descent maybe intermediate level ? Nice video
Sergio Cantero base on my experience, it would take atleast 2 years, maximum 3 years

“Share it with your friends who have no booty.” 😂
Can anyone clarify how often one should perform this kind of a workout? Multiple times a week/ once a week?

It's the best shirt ever. It's from Lulu Lemon and it doesn't trap orders and it is super comfy! I'd highly recommend it but it's the most expensive shirt I own 😂😂😂
