Oh by the way an awesome tip found out the other day for rally mud flaps use silicone baking sheets there cheap, flexible and come in an array of perfect bright colours!
Hi Gavin, the 911 SCRS is amazing ! 🥇😍 It should be great with HPI or nice Tamiya Fuchs rims painted in white. You own a unique Tamiya one. 😁 Thank you for sharing it with us.
Yep, it's a lovely chassis design but well ahead of the plastic technology back then so it was too fragile. With a bit of luck and I have all my fingers crossed, we will see a rere for Tamiya's 50th anniversary with the same chassis but no livery, made in a composite plastic to fix the issues with the original. That would be amazing!
I got the Audi Quattro for Christmas 1983. Such an over engineered chassis.... that performed not very well.... Heavy, cumbersome and just generally crap. But I still loved it :). I got the Frog the next Christmas and finally won some races :) Such a rare car though these days and prices going through the roof.
Great video but I'd suggest if you want a delta for a rally car get the LC Racing one on the ptg-2 chassis I have both as the the lancia delta but performance wise the LC Racing version is on another level performance wise and parts wise
Hello, I have the extremely rare Graupner Kyosho Go Kart 10 NR 4939 New in original packaging for sale, it is now up for auction in the bay. It ends this Sunday.
Gavin, it’s not worth saving the A2 Quattro body when Tamiya sell new ones with stickers and masks. You can get them through Amain Hobbies in the US and they do ship internationally although you could find a Tamiya dealer in the UK. If that’s not a thing, you can always go through Tamico in Deutschland or EuroRC in Finland.
My one isn't the A2 quattro Tai, this one is the vintage version. The body was modified by Tamiya to make the A2 version rere. The wheel arches are compleatly different on the A2 :) The rere A2 decals are close but not the same as the vintage version. :)
Very nice cars. I love the vintage ones. Are you sure that the Lancia Rally came out in 1993?! Wasn´t it 1983?! Anyway its really iconic. I have myself the rere with the TA-02 chassis and I love it.
What a collection. Simply beautiful, and well done.
hello gavin thanks for showing us ur collection
On the last 912 rally build what wheels are those?
Great collection
What are the tyres on the Integrale??

Really nice collection sir! Bring back awesome memories Gavin 😊👍. Thank you sir..
Fantastic content! Thanks 👍🏻
Great collection! 👍👍👍
Impressive Rally Car collection Gavin - my favorite is the Porsche 959, one of Tamiya’s best cars!

Great Video tc-01 as Rallye i like it👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! 👍 You wouldn't think it would work at all but it's not bad. It does make a really good on-road rally car.
Video was a lot of fun to watch. Beautiful RC’S!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Gavin, and do you have any of the Kyosho ones ?
No I don't have any Kyosho rally cars.
Wasn’t the wheels on the 959 yellow? I had one mine spent most of its life on the roof .
Tamiya kit yes, real car no. The real 959 had white rims in the same style as the ones on this RC
Loving these collection videos! Eagerly await the next installment matey! 😁👌
Gavin, should the MF01X be included ? Or maybe I missed it in the video.
Yep it could be. Mine is still not finished

We can only wish that Tamiya would re-release the 959

Hi everyone I am just starting out in this hobby and idea off a good start rc models
What do you want to use it for? Road, trail, grass, bashing, speed runs?
Are you looking for a build it, or ready to run?
A bit off everything to start no rebuild just drive for now please

Yes 83, sorry did I say 93? My mistake.
FWD´s are not popular? In the first part of the 90´s, Yokomo YR4 and YR2 was top of the Hill.
I enjoy my FWD car as it does drive really differently but it is a load of fun.
