I must say the first backhand rally is truly amazing. Can't really find anyone in the tour who is able to hit better backhand crosscourt than that. Still more impressing is the way the whole match has been played out. It is so far the best match played in Roland Garros this year, with a quality superior to some more anticipated matches.
Cilic was always a great player; one of many great players who just never quite managed to break through the wall that Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray presented to everyone else for the period from 2010-18. That US Open in 2014 was a staggering performance. Glad to see him go deep in a tournament one last time

Andre Rublev won my heart today. 2 sets all, 1-1, and he decided to concede the point to a Cilic threatening to boil over, even when Rublev knew that the ball was actually out. Such a selfless gesture is unbelievable at this stage, and also goes on to show what a stupidly xenophobic core Wimbledon and the British government have displayed while banning such a wonderful individual from participating.
I am very very very very happy for Cilic; happy very very very happy! Rublev was great, too and like Cilic said, his day will come! Thanks guys for this epic battle!

Happy for Marin advancing to SF, we even don't see him playing tired in the 5th-set super-tiebreak. Though he is already 33 years old, he has been staying in the top 50 for 14 years (since2008.07.07), this match against Rublev was insane, he got 9 point in a row in the tiebreak to win the match. Hope we can see a "36yo vs 33yo" final.
