Correction @08:39 - The ultra-wide camera samples are 12MP not 16MP. The Oneplus 8 Pro has a 48MP ultra-wide camera, which takes 12MP photos.

I just bought my first oneplus phone about 5 months ago, the 7 pro , and I can honestly say it's the best phone I've ever had and it's not even close
Amazing review. Just one thing I think its missing information on: audio recording quality. Very few reviewers mention this aspect, it would be really nice to see how it does against the competition.

In your website, the battery endurance rating is written to be 103h at 120Hz and 109h at 60Hz which does not match with the information given in this video (82h @120Hz and 91h @60Hz). I am confused. I want to buy this one if the battery is good enough.

This is one of the only OP 8 Pro Reviews, that actually correctly mentioned, the Color Filter camera is just this one single "Fotochrome" Mode.
I watched almost all reviews, and almost none did it right.
In one Review, the guy said "it does some filters, that can be done with software too", scrolls through all the Filters - except the Fotochrome mode.
My Opinion about the Filter lense:
Even if most don't use it past the first week... I rather have a Lense, that actually DOES something, than some useless waste of Space like a ToF sensor or Depth Camera (which can be replaced by a good Software, or any of the other Cameras).

Another thing that I've seen only one reviewer pointing out in this device is the fact that the fingerprint scanner only works if the display is on. That means that you can't unlock your phone if it's laying flat on the table unless you fist press the power button to wake up the screen - and just then scan your fingerprint. That kinda sucks.
The audio sync is a little off or is it just me?

RUclips always moves audio a frame ahead and youtubers try to avoid it by keep the audio a frame late, I think they accidentally caused it to have 2 frames ahead 😅

OnePlus has comes along way with there camera quality. The Cameras on this device looks great. I'm very impressed. I'm not sure why reviewers are so critical of smartphone cameras. It's a smartphone! It's amazing that they even look as good as they do. I'm a point a shoot person myself. Great review 👍

【Godz】 why the 7 pro ?? Get the 7t man ! 500$ for almost everything! And not much of a difference be 90 nd 120hz but 120hz drain battery evem faster as well! Technically 120hz is 2x 60hz so it should consume double battery

My mom just bought one, and she was never really a fan of the way the market was headed with bigger screens. Now she sees my 6,3 inch Huawei and says it's small. The screen on that phone is simply amazing with 120 Hz and quadhd+. If and when I buy a new phone it'll definitely be a OnePlus. She also loves oxygenOS, it's so easy to navigate and there's no bloatware unlike her old Huawei. And my god the cameras are good. Stunning colors, and you really do use them all, except for that stupid ir camera. Even the macro mode has a use with stuff like flowers.

Yes can confirm, just tested it (running android 11),i also have the realme x50 pro ..another beast of a phone..hard to say which is really better other than x50 pro feels better in the hand.

ditched my Note 10+ (exynos model) to buy Oneplus 8 pro(glacial green).
Hope I've made the right choice (just waiting for the delivery).
In my note 10, I hate it when it slows down just because of multiple chat heads pop-up.
Also happens when you type, send faster and with longer/continuous conversation.
Worst, it heats up pretty quick, just by playing games such as
summoners war, ragnarok M and even mobile legends. 🙁
Royce Duff Ballon Fucking Exynos is the culprit my friend, terrible chipset, yes it’s fast and all but it has awful thermal and power management, only the Snapdragon versions are great but only the Exynos version is sold in Europe!

Not interested in 5G so I ended up with the Oneplus 7T. The larger screen and extra pixels uses more battery and lower fps in games...

I have been living with my OnePlus 5 and I still don't see a compelling reason to buy a new phone, the software on my phone is great and hasn't failed me even once.
I have the OP6, still works like a charm but I think the upgrade in camera and display alone is enough for me to make the switch.
why doesn't oneplus put a type-c headphones in box like samsung? it would be so nice. or a dongle for 3.5mm jack would have been also nice.
So they can sell it separately and charge more money...just like Apple...!

Didn't observe any issues, the green tint is still (barely) there, but it's only around like a minimum brightness. Doesn't bother me - it's a really great display.
If I buy this phone, will it capture my essence of beauty too? 😆😆 Usually during long reviews like this I eventually zone out a little, but that made me go "wait, what did he say?!?" Haha, it got my attention 😄

Phones are refining their overall aesthetic via sub display sensors but increasing the rear sensors at it's expense.
It's getting to a point where one could argue the unnecessary increase in rear sensors could be, if it isn't already, triggering for trypophobia.
The OPPO Find X remains one of, if not the best aesthetically pleasing phone bar none. As it takes into account, aesthetics of both the front & rear.
Not only will it look better, but it will also stand out from all other phones with sub display sensors & from a marketing point of view, that's priceless.
If phones pay homage to Find X's O.G. design, repurposing the blacked out compartment to house horizontally spread flush sensors instead.
With stock android, 120 - 144hz, all the latest H/W bezels & whistles. Then... YOU HAVE A WHERE DID YOU GET THAT, SHUT UP & TAKE MY MONEY PHONE!
Would it be advisable to buy OP8 pro, depsite of some customers expiriencing screen issues both software and hardware, or should I wait for the OP8T series next 6 months?

The Onyx black of the Oneplus 8 pro is just a normal black, For the color and design I pre-ordered a red sandstone skin from gadgetshieldz.
OnePlus has finally made a great phone, worthy enough to make me tempted. Still though, the lack of SD card slot worries me.

Battery life is decent enough and in your review u show oppox2 battery give better performance totally wrong ..I have seen many comparison of battery drain test it last more than s20 ultra also
I have the oneplus 7 pro and I don't think I could go back to a display with a cutout.
The color filter camera is an infrared camera that can see through plastic and some fabric. OnePlus hid it and downplayed it fearing controversy and disabled it entirely in China.
Watching with my eyes. Next time I will upgrade with eye glasses

Any news on green tint issue?
Only few devices have the problems. Some of the issues are also fixed via updates but for the ones with hardware issues they are providing replacement or refund or repair for those devices.
Touch lag,shadow bar,screen burn,haptic engine are some of the problems people are facing.
For this price better not but unfortunately I saw some reports about green tint issue on OP8 Pro.
