    I just bought the Nikon A1000 Urban Case and it fits the camera perfectly because Nikon made it for the A1000, love it, I can whip the camera out in a second to take a pic and pop it back in the case in a second, no zips and the camera is facing in the right direction in the case on my belt. As for batteries, they are small enough to be kept anywhere. My best accessory is the Pedco Ultra Pod II, a must have for a superzoom!!

      Neet little case. Just make sure to remove the battery from the camera before you put it in there. If it ever turned on by itself, the lens would try to move out and that wouldn't be a good thing. I've had that happen to my older Nikon Coolpix S9700. I learned to keep the battery out of the cameras since.

      Peak Design leash has very fine attachments which fit all camera handstrap points.

    I’m thinking of purchasing this camera, because I’m so tired of carrying so many different cameras and equipment during holiday. Lately, I haven’t been taking videos or capturing moments because of the hassle of what camera to use and when. What accessories do you recommend?

    • @DestructiveBurn
      @DestructiveBurn  3 года назад

      Don't. It's really bad at collecting dust on the sensor. It's not that great anyway. I'll never buy another Coolpix again.
      Mines got so many problems and it was one of the first released.

    Is there a remote timer for this camera?

    • @DestructiveBurn
      @DestructiveBurn  3 года назад

      Use the SnapBridge App on your phone to remote the camera. You can see a preview and also add a Self-timer from there or manually take a photo from the camera.

      Looking for a intervalometer really ??

    • @DestructiveBurn
      @DestructiveBurn  3 года назад +1

      3s 5s 10s Self-timer settings from SnapBridge App & Camera. If you want to use other devices for the camera, I recommend a diferent camera. I would'nt even dare bring this one near water. There are no external ports for other things including a mic. Just Power and HDMI Mini.

      I wouldn't recommend it. There are plastic cases for that. This is just your basic storage case.

    Excellent and thoughtful posting. I had the p7700 at one time until it died. The subsequent replacement did seem all that good until now. Do you think it's a good unit to have? I'm just a bit worried about that small sensor. I've seen some great footage of at 4k. It looks really good. If you could chime in I'd appreciate it.

      Well, I can tell you that if your taking photo's around dusk, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking a tripod. Not a good camera to hold while taking photos in low light.
      Personally, I never owned a DSLR to compare too. Just the Nikon Coolpix S9700 and it's a step up from that one but does have limitations. So far it's treated me good doing my review videos on this channel however, it has froze twice when recording and I was forced to remove the battery both times and reboot it. It won't autofocus in the video on its own. This can be an advantage though but also a nuisance. Manual focus is the best alternatives if you remember it's focused on what you're showing.
      If you watch a few of my latest video's like the homemade speaker, it's been recorded with the camera. Just note they have been compressed with handbreak so there is a bit of quality loss as my upload speed is horrible so I'm forced to do that.

      @@DestructiveBurn So it's great for still photos but for video I'm better off with a camcorder. I don't want to go crazy with a DSL because of body doesn't hold their value well. There are few reviews out there on this camera.
