Awesome Matt... Ive used a convoy L6 for over 2 years, and have no complaints. As a boy scout parent coordinator ive had it out & about in some really nasty rain and storm conditions... It runs like a champ.
If you want the Convoy S2 with some more power (up to 1600 lumen), Look into the BLF A6. It's like a brighter S2 with more modes essentially. I think that form factor is amazing for pocket carry (the single 18650 tube lights). Great performance, not too big, and no messing with outdated disposable batteries (like AA and whatnot).
How about the Sofirn SP32A V2.0 it is max output of 1,300LM in an EDC size and comes with a 18650 Battery a USB charger, lanyard and spare o-rings a complete kit for $27.....I just reviewed this on my channel and I have been impressed with the quality and value of the two Sofirn lights I have reviewed.. Happy Lumens
blf q8 is also a good choice, dollar to power ratio very nice light, but yea the l6 is still the king eventho its soon what 3 years ago it came out ? and still budget lights kick olight and acebeams butts lol..
Sinds 3 weeks I have the Lumintop odf30c and is GREAT. trow of 860m and 2000 Lumen. It is a complete kit (charges with usb-c the 26650 5000mah) . But the price is not below €60, (€75) I paid 85 dollars for it. Mainly I use the Lumintop odf30c for security purposes only.
Dx80? Not! Lol. .yesterder, i gave my wife a convoy c8+ as edc, good thing were a tag team when it comes to preparedness, im not hearing any complaints about expenses. Lol.. your recomendations are top level good flashlights. Advance Meri xmas brother.
I'm thinking getting myself a Convoy L6. I'm a security guard and currently using ultrafire c12, it uses cree XM-L2 U3 that produce bout 1400 lumens on top
I highly doubt Ultrafire is using a FET driver to push the XM-L2 to it's limit. It's probably under 1000 lumen. The L6 is a big improvement. I think it's around 3000-3200 lumen. I do security work as well and have modded my L6 over the last 2 years to make it a beast of a light. Another cheap, high quality light great for security work would be the Sofirn SP33 with xhp50.2.
Two lights are better than one. The SP33 is great for walking with its somewhat floody, close to medium distance beam. Then you want an L6 or A4 for when you need to see something in the distance. The L6 is a bit between the two. The A4 should have a narrow, long distance beam whereas the L6 has a bigger diameter hot spot and is brighter, but doesn't have real long distance capability.
Friend do you know inform me where I buy a "spotlight" of the XHP 70 led for long range? I looked at Aliexpress and I did not find it, I'm putting on a super flashlight, if you can help me I'll thank you right away.
I own one. Don't worry, it's fantastic and the ramping UI is really easy to use. Outperforms the C8+, but you do pay a little bit more for that slight extra performance. The C8+ must have made the cut due to how cheaply you can obtain it.The price to performance ratio is crazy.
I find it has become counter intuitive in the following sense, if there were to be a massive leap in flashlight (Torch in the UK), technology..... I would, for sure, miss out on it. I get hundreds of RUclips alerts every day and only select the ones that look interesting to me, and add to my "watch later" list. With that in mind, whenever I see an alert for flashlight reviews, because they all claim to be the most awesome, insane, brightest, longest, most powerful etc etc, I just clear the alerts, even from respected preppers / bushcrafters, solely on the grounds that if I were to mark them all for later viewing I would never get to see anything at all other than flashlight reviews. I just wish all of the gear reviewers would do a text update, list the new flashlight, give it a rating and say that it doesn't warrant a whole new review video. That way when everyone starts doing reviews on a new flashlight, I am gonna KNOW that there's something new and important about it.
🚨buddy you need to do a video showing all your evil Collections of flashlights! we want to see them all!!! 😎😱 🔦💡🔦💡🔦💡🔦💡🔦💡🔦💡🔦💡 thanks for sharing, 👍👍👍👍👍THUMBS UP 👍👍👍👍👍

The boss has spoken and when he speaks we listen 👍.
How about a quick video on the higher output flashlights for Christmas. Not budget-minded. LOL. 🔦🐢🔦🐢🔦🐢🔦

Ordered my con voy s2+.
Olight had some tempting prices on Black Friday sales.
I would recommend the thrunite tc20 that has the same lumens as the Convoy l6 and it comes with a battery.
For $90.... I found the TC20 very underwhelming after getting the catapult v6 and its even less expensive
Astrolux C8 Similar to the Convoy C8+ but a tiny bit brighter
I get a lot of WOWs from the C8 you sent me.......l love it, thanks again 👍👍🔦
As far as the Convoy S2+ goes i believe there is one sold with their "newer" driver. I have also given the Ultratak K18 as a gift.

What do you think about convoy 4x18a. I really like to know your thoughts on this flashlight.

For security I recommend the wowtac A4
FreakzRitual nah a flood would be better for security
FreakzRitual I have A4 and L6 and I would take the L6 anyday

Like the countdown. Top to last
Thru Nite TC 15, O Light S1R II Baton, just about any other O Light that was on sale Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, same with Fenix.
Hi Matt. Are there any new flashlights you recommend for 2019? I'm looking at buying the Convoy M3 this Black Friday.
I love this guy! Great video.

Yeah, A6 is my edc in 18350 size.
No GT mini?
i guess he didnt like it.
Oh no... I got my dad one and I’m waiting for it to still come in, I hope it’s good

Does anyone know the tube width of the Convoy L6? I'm looking to put it on a rifle, but it seems to be wider than the 1.03" maximum size of my mount.
para colocarlo en un rifle, mejor c8 modificado con xpg2, ver 400 metros ++ a través de la mira telecopical.
