Just bought the Olight warrior X pro flashlight for long distance and self defence item. In self defence you blind the attacker then act swiftly and effectively hit attacker in some areas that he won't attack you again. In karate and martial arts training you learn lethal moves and learning martial arts or Karate is for self defence only. A flashlight gives you advantage over a nasty nutter. We live in a society that's getting worse. In the UK there are fewer Police officers and knife crime in going up. Plus a flashlight can be carried in public a knife can't. Great video to watch.
The first one is a problem with most of the usb rechargeables I have used. Had a streamlight protac like this and over time it stopped charging properly. Finally started flickering with brand new batteries and eventually would not turn on at all. Good while it lasted though
Bought an A1 right after you made that video and have been using it daily as an EDC and backup duty light. Absolutely love it for all the reasons you gave! Wish there was a version with just a bit more heft for full on duty purposes. My main duty light is a Pelican 7080, so most other lights feel small and flimsy by comparison. Keep up your success brother!
Thrunite lights are usually pretty good. I think Fenix and Olight are a step above but Thrunite is also known for quality. Thrunite has amazing customer service to and will replace the light free of charge if it fails within two years. Anything after two years is maintenance. Contact them, you will be glad you did.
The bump on the Thyrm isn't for combat. It's leverage for a momentary endcap activation, allowing pistol use with a separate flashlight. Have you tried it that way?
When you flip the light to the back of your hand, the bottom button is on your 2nd finger, forward of a Rogers Technique hold. Pushing forward on the bump with your thumb, you can actuate the button against your finger.
Please keep the long term reviews I definately like this one. I also found light that is intrinsically safe. It has the momentary switch on the back. It is a Streamlight. HAZ-LO version. It is a 2 AAA battery light. I appreciate the information. That you provide to the industry.
I caught a burglar trying to break in my neighbors storage. I snook up behind him and turned on my surefire backup and screamed...i scared the crap out of him and he left his bicycle on scene. it was funny...
Have you checked out Fenix Light Company? I've carried their PD35 as an EDC light for about 6 years now. It's an older 750 lumen model, the 2019 models are 1000 lumen. I've given the newer ones as gifts. Love their stuff.
how many hours a day u use it years are not relevant if you use it once a year for 1 min ... needs to be tested for 4-6 hours at least three days a week for 7years then id be impressed
Like your vids man. FYI I recently learned that flashing a tactical light or strobe mode on persons who suffer form seizures can induce a seizures. Also learned that some folks who are more sensitive than others can get permanent eye damage. 🤷🏻♂️
You mentioned pressure switches or tape switches. If you're able, check out the Cloud Defensive Light Control System (LCS). You can connect the LCS to a Surefire Scout or Streamlight rifle light and it tucks away the cords and the pressure switches are far more durable! Let me know whatcha think!
Been on the job since 1995, flashlights have came a long way. My first was mag light d cell “secondary illumination impact weapon”
Tactical Shenanigans Attach some spikes to one of those and it's a medieval mace.

You mean that knuckle bump? I'm having a hard time visualizing what you are saying.

You should make a video about dry firing. Because I have no idea what you was even talking about.
