@@CynicAtheist Indeed, but you can dedome it to make it warmer and throwier. I wouldn't be surprised if Wurkkos start to offer warmer tints in the near future (they do this with the TS10).
I believe that Sofirn and Wurkkos are now the best on the market. Thanks to their prices they have managed to reinvest in research and development, offering excellent quality products that are absolutely accessible. Personally I have about twenty flashlights of the two brands and I have given as many as gifts to friends and relatives. These brands also listen to the advice and wishes of flashlight enthusiasts, I love them!
@@CharlyCD93 best lumen per dollar light. they are great for modifying too, they don't glue all the parts together. they are well built and have very simple user interface; click on/off, half press to make brighter and a couple blinky modes. very bright.
You forgot about the short tube. for $2 you can get a short tube and then some 18350 battery for like $5 and you have option to go much smaller. Very easy to EDC.
With the new driver, this makes the FC11C basically the universal gateway into a starter high CRI efficient driver USB-C charging well built/durable light. I can give this as a gift to non-enthusiasts and be assured they would have no problem picking up how to operate it from blind/scratch with 60 seconds of use.
Wurkkos lights are made by Sofirn in the Sofirn factory to Wurkkos specs. So they may have slightly different cosmetic differences, but have the same emitters, drivers, buttons, threads and lenses. They are sister companies.
So much bang for your buck with this one... it ticks so many of those little enthusiast boxes under the hood you can recommended it to anyone. I held outa really long time, but when the blue 4kK FC11C rolled out, I had to get one.
I've been wondering why the FC11 and FC11C are rated at 1300 lumens or less. I find this odd for an EDC flashlight that uses the 18650 cell because the FC12, FC13 (w/ SFT40), TD02, Sofirn SP31V3, SC31T, SC31 Pro and the SC32 have a higher output from 1900-2050 lumens, depending on the emitter model. Did Wurkkos intentionally cap the FC11 at 1300 lumens or is this due to the Samsung LH351D and Nichia 519a's limitations? 🔦🤔
Best flashlight channel. Will be picking this up. I switched to an end cap style recently and it drives me nuts how I have to put it on safety all the time or it turns on throughout the day. Back to a side switch soon and this one looks great 🥂
Correct but here were not talking about the best waterproof flashlight. You could also say the most waterproof flashlights have magnetic switches & double orings and sealed heads. But we're talking about a $27 general purpose flashlight.
@@aussiehardwood6196 let me reword that, it doesn't have to have the best waterproofing, but having that usb port with a flap is one more thing to worry about, if it ain't water, it's dirt, grim and dust that accumulates. It's $27 right? So by having a charging port that also increase the cost of production compared to a light that doesn't have a port. I don't get why alot of sofirn and wurkkos light have charging ports on them.
I was skeptical about how good this flashlight was because of how cheap it is. I payed a little over $22 for the flashlight and battery about two weeks ago and it came in today. I'm impressed on how good it is as it works good and doesn't feel cheap. I just hope it lasts. I could have got it sooner through amazon but I'm too cheap. 😁
Anybody know what happened to Wowtac? I had the A5, friggin loved that thing but lost it and can’t find it anywhere, turbo mode would light up a midnight easter egg hunt for $35
The FC11C with Nichia 519 and buck driver will be in the top of the list of recommended flashlights for a LONG time.

FC11's replaced most of my SC31Pro's , but if only they made it Anduril... it would be 10/10
So, when are you going to let Matt out of his cage? It's been over a year!

Wurkkos really does keep coming out with great value lights. Really loving the HD01 right now too.

You can use momentary moonlight in lockout mode ;)
You mention is comes with a protected 18650 button-top cell. Does it also work with flat-top unprotected cells?

Got flashlight?
The FC12 and TS11S are my favorite lights from Wurrkos.
These are almost $40 now
Nope. You have to go to their website and not Amazon to get the good deal.
Ts22 is the little beast. I payed 29$ for the ts22
super sweet light im tempted to pick one up
Nice regulation!
Awesome info and content
Wurkk
Now only if they make an Anduril verison...
No way! That thing is huge. Who would possibly want to EDC a big ass flashlight like that? Its a terrible choice for edc.
As others mentioned, buy a short tube for $2 and use a 18350 battery for EDC
Yawn 🥱 bring back Mat
Who?
