I am so excited to see your videos. I have been a One Stroke painter for at least 20 years. I Paint mostly glass, some canvas, and wood and paper. I do custom work and have merchandise in a store. I am retired now and need another source of income. I honestly was thinking about going back to work. My last job was as a special-needs Para educator, and more difficult for me now. Then out of the blue, I received a call and I was asked if I could volunteer and help to do face painting at a community-sponsored event for free. I have never done face painting, so I wanted to educate myself before accepting the challenge. Then I saw that this could be another avenue in my business and in my wheelhouse and actually, a way to generate income later, once I know the ropes. I was so excited to see these rainbow cakes and find your videos. I am familiar with these strokes and you have been so fantastic to watch and learn from as a beginner face painter. I cannot wait to get my products and start practicing before the event at the end of the month. Then to continue on as a "Face painter for Hire." I am subscribing now. Thank you.
Hi! I'm so excited for you. Sounds like you'll be a natural and have SO much fun. Thanks for subscribing.
OMG, your videos help me so much! I’ve been face painting for five years and learning as I go. For the most part, the end result looks good, but not “finished” like yours. Thank you for your professionalism and transparency. 👍🏽
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy my videos.
You are a wonderful teacher, Ariel! Thank you for sharing your expertise!
I love your videos Ariel! I have learned so much from you. I do a church event every year with my daughter face painting and the kids just love it. I'm hoping next year we can get a couple director chairs. Thank you so much for your tips & tricks!!!!! God Bless!

Cutting the sponge 🧽 into a unicorn 🦄 horn shape 🤷🏽♀️ Why did I not think 🤔 about that?? Such brilliant stuff👍🏽 😊 Thank You Ariel, as this unicorn 🦄 Fever 🤒 is So popular! So many children (adults) request 🦄
So many! I have an updated video on it that I just need to finish editing. I'll have it up this month for sure.
Ariel Minervini Yay!! 😀 Great!👍🏽
Oh! Wow! As a beginner I've been practicing and have encountered some of the mistakes you address in this, your latest tutorial. Could'n't have come at a better time! Thank you SO much for your valuable lessons in this adventure called FACE PAINTING!
I'm glad it was good timing. Hope it helps.

Great demo. Ty❤
Great video Ariel 😊 even though I'm not a beginner , I love how you teach 😊
Thanks! I'm glad you at least found it entertaining...I know I have so many different levels of painters that watch and it's hard to speak to every level.
What a great class. You have given me.!

Thanks for another great tutorial Ariel. It was one of those "why didn't I think of that" videos x

Very useful thank you

Olá...apesar de não falar nem entender sua linguagem ...eu amo seus vídeos e já aprendi fazer várias pinturas faciais com vc,muito obrigada por compartilhar.
Thank you so much! I wish I spoke multiple languages so I could have all the videos translated. Glad you are still enjoying them.
Thanks for all those awesome tips 😊
You're welcome!
Thank you for the tips. I didn't see the spray bottles or glitter spritzers you use in your storefront. Cheers!
darn, that store can be tricky. If you look under my glitter video they should be there.
Totally awesome
Glad you liked it! 💕

Amazing!!!!!
Dear Ariel, I love your tutorials. can you please list the 4 colos you used ? Tnx ! 💜
I don't have the names of all of them at this point. Sry.
hello what colour is the rainbow cake first from the left at the bottom please
Hi. Thank you so much for these Tutorials. It will help my Teams train when we are post-covid and can paint again. May I ask whre you purchased your brush washing station? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks!
Sure, I got it from Amazon. I have a whole video on it with a link. The links sometime expire because I can't update them all but you can try it or search for it too.
What brush did you use in the video? 😍
What brand of high quality water based wipes do you buy to clean your rainbow cakes with?
What is the brand of the first cake you used with your sponge?
I'm a beginner. I've been using my tear drop sponge with a split cake. That works too right? If I squish it it fits.
oh yes, that's totally fine. Do what works for you.
The more I've been practicing, I see doing this has limitations. Guess I may have to buy a few rainbow cakes. :D
Thank you
You're welcome!
This is such a helpful video thank you so much for the break down!! Which wipes have you found little/no debris fibers? I’m looking around and would love your recommendations
I more often get the pampers water wipes but have used many brands. Just don't buy an "off" brand.
Ariel Minervini absolutely I for sure learned my lesson and I use pampers already so Yaay!! Just seeing what’s out there. Much love to ya from Los Angeles, CA 🤩✌🏽
Hi I just got Athena ucanbe palate for professional face paint, I have been facing problems with it , it leaves stains and smudges even with little touch, outlining the face paint design with single color line is also a challenge as it mixes with the color, can you please suggest what to do ??? Thank you
Hmm...that looks like wax based makeup not waterbased makeup. Two very different kinds of paint. I can tell just by how shiny it is in the picture online.
Where do you get your glitter spritzer bottle?
From an online shop years ago but I'm seen them in most of the retailers.
What brush were you using for your teardrops? Do you have a teardrop tutorial? I find them really tricky
Just a loew cornell number 4 I think. they are great brushes...I don't have a tutorial for them but probably should. I cover it a bit in my line work video. If you're having trouble try the face painting shops pointed rounds...that may help.
hello. I just would like to thank you sooooooooooooo much for your you tube tutorials. There was a method that you spoke about that made me cry. Oh my God, I think it is going to change my life. When you said we should hold our brush vertical to make swrils etc. Do you mean if i am on the head should the back of my brush point towards me or the ceiling. I hope this is making sense. on pens and needles for your response. i put this in your fb messenger as well
Name some good beginner essential rainbow cakes please mainly for bufltterfly, fairy or mermaid
I'll do another beginner video soon and be more specific.
I´ve heard you mention in two different videos now, about how you made your own unicornsponge, but I cant find that video, can you please link to it? t i a :-)
Hmm...good question. I'll look but I swear it's on here somewhere. I can make a new video of an instagram post on it. I just cut a sponge into a triangle. Super simple.
have you ever sprayed your glitter in a cake instead of water? haha!!
ha! thankfully, no but I can see how that could happen.
