This series was also one of the most hype matches of recent years, and would've been historic even if DRX had lost. The mental fortitude to not only contain your emotions, but compose yourself after winning each subsequent game, really defines the spirit of "trying to win" that makes ALL of the LCK teams dangerous. The man has a disgusting brain for the game when he isn't focused on Genshin girls. I think him and Defts flexibility to 4/5 reliably will help massively in Gen.G vs DRX.
His high risk picks gave them an advantage on the later games. EDG banning Heim and Ashe only to give Zeka his comfort picks. Even with 4 deaths down on Heim he managed to scare EDG into banning Heim. It also helps that he has a deep champion pool compared to his counterpart, and it also helps that Deft can play any adc and is okay to pick off-meta picks so Beryl can formulate weird bot comps that will throw off EDG's picks.
These are awesome. I listened to these much later, and loved them! I loved them so much, I had to come here to like and comment! Man, I love it! Thanks!

I actually think the Ryze ban in game one makes a lot of sense, assuming they were planning on picking both Fiora/Graves and it was doing well in scrims. Graves wants to invade and that is a lot harder if mid lane has perma priority, plus Graves is so short range he can have a hard time fighting into Ryze, it is really easy to root him and blow him up, and the semi global pressure he provides makes it a lot harder to split the map with Fio.
I really wish the analysis desk actually analyse what happen in the game rather than talking garbage all day. I can't stand watching analysis desk at all. I miss the time when they actually analyse how the game unfolds. Nice to have a real breakdown
3 weeks a go I was 1 auto from winning a game and the inhib responded I don't want to say I'm tilted but was d1 83 lp now I'm d4 0 lp. in my last 20 games I have 2 wins .maybe after watching this I can climb again.
I take issue with the 4-1 comments because it betrays the idea of just how close the series was and really mulls over the intricacies that made it so meaningful and legendary. If you launch a rocket and try to land it but it crashes because the retropropulsion system activates a half second too late, you did not successfully land that rocket. The inhibitor respawning is a known factor of the game. It occurs at a set time after its destruction and can be accounted for. Did DRX time the inhib? Probably. Could they have initiated the play a half second earlier to beat its respawn and win Game 2? Yes. Did DRX look at that game loss and give up? Oh hell no.
In my opinion as long as you know every bit of detail on how to play a certain champ and it’s not the absolute bottom of the Meta champs then that team will do fine. I think that it’s really way too difficult to just play whoever is the strongest in the meta because then you can’t build those necessary skills. But if you’re a mechanical god like chovy or canyon then S+ champs is the way to go. But if you’re not, stick to the champ you know best as long as it’s not the most absolute bottom of the meta champ. Thanks :)
Question: Why dont you have the excel graphics up while you discuss the overall game, and then swap to the actual plays when discussing the fights? I think it would paint a much better picture for us, as even though I've watched the games, seeing specifically what you are talking about with you say things such as "margin of error vs azir/kennen in this fight". Of course I could go rewatch it on my own but having a constant visual helps to affirm specifically what you are talking about. Even a screen shot of pivotal moments if getting each timestamp personally is too much effort

Love the heisendong love
EDG looked exhausted by the end of game 5. Korean teams are just OP in the BO5 format when they can drag it out.
Commenting before I watch to boost our main man jatt
I just hope semis and finals are also really close 3-2s or even 3-1s is fine as long as it’s butt clenching games lol.
Bro how is this out already you're a speed demon
Love the analysis. Would love it if you could talk over clips of fights! Shame...
I feel like the extremely heavy push style for DRX in bot was purely designed to neutralise Meiko roaming and doing anything on the map.
ZEKA IS A FUCKING MONSTER HOLY
3 weeks a go I was 1 auto from winning a game and the inhib responded I don't want to say I'm tilted but was d1 83 lp now I'm d4 0 lp. in my last 20 games I have 2 wins .maybe after watching this I can climb again.
Weekend banger
If this inhib respawn happened to me, I would be so tilted and lose all the remaining games of my promo series.
Oh hell no.
Back to back years with 3 Korean teams in Worlds semis.. let's see if the sole Chinese rep can win out again this year
I was about to go to bed when the series looked like an EDG 3-0, ended up staying up for all 5 😭
This should be "Worlds Cool Down"
In my opinion as long as you know every bit of detail on how to play a certain champ and it’s not the absolute bottom of the Meta champs then that team will do fine. Thanks :)
How do you even judge absolute bottom Meta Champs. Any champion can work great if you play it right.
ZEKAAA ............. ZEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The most exciting series I've seen
Question: Why dont you have the excel graphics up while you discuss the overall game, and then swap to the actual plays when discussing the fights? I think it would paint a much better picture for us, as even though I've watched the games, seeing specifically what you are talking about with you say things such as "margin of error vs azir/kennen in this fight". Of course I could go rewatch it on my own but having a constant visual helps to affirm specifically what you are talking about. Even a screen shot of pivotal moments if getting each timestamp personally is too much effort
can't use footage from game up to 24h after the games end
Feel like this would be much more comprehensive if you played the game while explaining.
Deft fighting!!
no one else plays Sylas like Zeka
