I think it will be a LONG time before we see competitive Mini-LED monitors.. they solve the same problem as OLED by having better black and light controls and are FANTASTIC for a TV for example due to the content delivered, but... unlike OLEDs and the Mini-LED processing definitely seems to add time to the process. Not sure how they solve controlling all the mini-LED while cycling up to really high refresh rates.. I would definitely be keen on an mini-oled if they can solve this problem!
The best mini LED monitor is the Redmagic GM001S and only available in Asia. Meanwhile miniLED TVs are so good the latest hidden u8 & the Bravia 9 blow my mind

I think the AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD2 is something that needs to be tested as there seems to be some glaring issues with the HDR that needs to be addresed. I can push nvidia control panels digital vibrance and contrast to max, and it will be so dull compared to dim SDR. I also get a chunky performance hit to FPS like 450 to 300 in Ultrakill and 240 cap to 160 in Neon white. Additionally I can not get HDR 1000 MAX to display. Selecting it makes both my displays power loop until you can go through the menu fast enough to select off of it, which is not easy to pull off.
Why cant the monitor start the strobe just befor the refresh for each refresh e.g. 540hz strobing = 1080hz motion clarity. i thought the lcd layer isnt involved in the backlight strobing.
Maybe it’s taking a while to get their hands on it? It’s not on sale here in Australia for some reason. We have the G61 the 240hz version for sale here but not the G60.
Probably haven't gotten one yet, plus their stance on all these OLED panels is always to get whichever is priced best in your region. The only exception is if there's an actual difference in the panel type (QD-OLED vs WOLED) in which case just get the one better for your setup
Do you have a List for gaming monitors with hardware calibration? Software calibration is giving me tons of consistency issues and im so fed up with my MSI MAG274 QRF QD
Well depends on you disposable income. If you can afford buy a 4k 240hz OLED with a 3 year burn-in warranty and just use it. Worst case scenario you will have to buy another one in like 4 years. If you can't afford it, buy a fast ips if you are competitive multiplayer gamer (or maybe Samsung VA, but I still think that best IPS panels are better) or a mini-LED (probably VA) panel if you are more of a single player/casual multiplayer gamer. But overall OLED is just better for gaming in everything other than possibly brightness.
He has also already done a review currently that shows how burn in will effect you in the worst case scenario so you can pick up any of these but I would look into the 4k oled since they have better text clarity but if it doesn’t have warranty no point but check out his other vids they answer all questions even the elixir or life?
currently live in Australia and the g274qpx is $468 where as the m27qx is $499. Is it worth spending the extra $31 or are they pretty much the same performance and which one would you recommend?
Not a good monitor. I wanted it too but the EOTF and luminance chart are below average which means a overall dimmer picture. The AOC is overall much better

Please be aware. While there are a lot of esports gamers. Some of us also like what refresh rate does for motion resolution and clarity and we can tell a higher refresh rate even if we dont plan on dominating competitivly. Personally i can appreciate motion resolution just as much if not more than pixel resolution.

42-50 inch TVs are probably your best bet there. Modern OLED and MiniLED TVs have 120 or even 144hz refresh rates nowadays and game modes that reduce input lag.

The button is the only way as far as I understand. But that's actually better as it's way faster and easy to reach. The button works in like 3 seconds too it's super impressive/easy to swap modes

So that is minimum 7900txt, or 4080super required and all settings turned to low, if that is even achievable on 32° But why do you want such fps? For competitive gaming to have a minimal, super minimal, giga minimal lower imput lag, which 99/100 times you won't notice. But I have never seen a person who plays competitive at 32°
I was kinda disappointed with this years top tier 4K OLEDs for few reasons, lack of BFI / BFI-VRR, no DP 2.1 to avoid DSC issues, so really features that are missing for no reason really. We've seen this on other monitors and slacking with this for top tier spec was kidna a miss. Last thing on top of all is very high price, €1800 in EU for me. No. I'm waiting to see CES soon next year and hope to see missing features added to new dual-mode monitors.

I just upgraded from a 1440p 165hz 27" to a 4k 144hz 28". So far I think it wasn't worth it. My 7800xt doesn't think it was a good idea either.
