- On April 25, 2021, police responded to a suspected break-in in Rothschild, WI. When police arrived, they found a stolen vehicle parked on the sidewalk with the engine running with no one inside.
A witness believed they saw someone break into the pickup truck and go inside the house. The officers went to the home, searched for a suspect, and discovered a man hiding in the bathroom.
He was taken into custody and placed in the squad car. While officers interviewed witnesses, the man was able to fit himself through the one-foot barrier between the front and back seats and took off with the squad car.

It blows my mind how or why breaking into someone's house is a misdemeanor. When someone breaks into someone else's house It should be a felony! Even if they don't take anything. He better never move to Florida and try that stunt because he'll most likely be blown right back out the door or window he entered.
A person that will break into a house with people inside is a dangerous person.
That charge is most likely for the second home he broke into where they found him in the attic. Since no one was home, that's why it's a misdemeanor (second degree depending on the state). If someone is home then it gets upgraded to a felony (first degree depending on the state).
Here in Wisconsin where the video is from we have castle doctrine…if it was my house….the cops would have been called for a body. You’re 100% right. Someone who breaks into someone’s home is a dangerous person and it should be 10 year minimum…I assume if you break into my home. You are set on doing bodily harm to me…so I won’t call the cops until after I put some shots center mass.

The answer is simple: desperation. There was a video of an officer arresting a guy and he tried to run while in handcuffs. After he got caught the officer asked him why he tried to run when he knew he wouldn't get away because running in cuffs is hard, to which he replied: “I had to try”. @@bladerj Lmfaooo right!?
And everyone saying that it wasn't him that turned the sirens on, are wrong! It's in his affidavit. He turned those sirens on. And I love him for it. Lol!!
I was wondering if that was him and admittedly had to rewind it a couple of times to see, but considering that nobody on scene had yet made it to their vehicle, simple deduction says it would have had to be the suspect.
It looks like he simply shimmied his cuffed-hands forward under his feet to make them accessible. Near the very end (13:07) you could see that his hands are placed both in front of him - that is not the natural hand/arm placement for somebody running (rather than swinging laterally in an alternating front-back motion) - to me this is definitive proof of how he was able to bring his hands to the front.
The barrier clearance having only one-foot of open space has me thinking because it’s obviously a tough one, but there are two possibilities as to how he was able to make it through into the front of the police car.
The first being rather simple as he used his hands (that were now accessible) to manually pry, maneuver, or break the barrier in order to allow enough physical space. The handcuffs being in-front would offer him an advantage as they could be used as a tool of sorts to assist in manipulating the barrier.
The second is a bit more complex, but let’s not discount that it could be a combination of the two methods, or even a different method altogether, however certain diseases of the connective tissue allow for contortionist-like body manipulation.
In fact, nearly every contortionist (ever) was able to become professional as a direct result of their connective tissue, namely collagen, being extra-fibrous or stretchy. In most, but not all cases, it’s due to one of several gene mutations that tell the body how to arrange or build the human collagen. This is why bovine or other animal collagen supplementation will not help in such a case, it must first be broken down into various proteins (the “building blocks”), and then built into human collagen which is dictated by a genetic process (the genes are the “blueprint” for those “building blocks”). This is a very basic explanation, but you see where I’m going with this, if the genetics are a factor than the odds would likely be less than 1:5,000; probably way less, that our suspect could manipulate his body easily enough to get his hands under his feet and his body under the barrier. Obviously, being thin is also a big factor as even if he could, he still needs to fit! This also doesn’t mean that it’s not painful, the trait would likely mean “not as” painful. It could also cause joint or muscle injury even though it’s not as likely depending on how far he must contort, and this may only occur sometime after this event. Finally, his age being 29 was a further advantage as overly stretchy connective tissue does the opposite and breaks down over time, kind of like how a brand new rubber band could be easily stretched widely, but old rubber bands become brittle as they age and finally break or fall apart.
Do you think I got it right? I’d like to hear your thoughts!
(BTW, I did not read the affidavit or see any other videos regarding this case. All thoughts are original.)
I would never get my peace of mind back after something like this. Absolutely terrifying
It’s insane our justice system, people that need consequences get little to none and people who are basically are innocent get crazy sentences, our justice system needs to look harder at themselves and then make sure they all align with their consequences

Cop: “Yeah, you’re really working.”
aHHahA
I’m impressed how he was able to get out the cuffs and squeeze into the front side of the police car. That’s determination.
He did it all with the handcuffs still on. Wild
i made a bet they switched his handcuffs to the front...but i lost... this guy has skills and thats terrifying
@@kimmyfreak200 if the cuffs are loose enough and you have flexible shoulders you can maneuver them from the back to your front
@@repoman2115 I reckon that's why he kept going on about the cuffs were too tight - he wanted them loose as he was planning all along to try and get away
I reckon he slipped his hands under his ass and then bent his legs so they would go between his arms, the handcuffs were then to his front. If you slow down the few frames where you see him exit the cop car and run across the lawn he clearly has no pants, socks or shoes on which leads me to thinking that is how he did it.
If I had a nickel for every suspect that stole a police car by crawling through the barrier I'd have 10 cents, which isn't a whole lot but it's weird that it happened twice
Only 5 years that’s just crazy
Lol he turned on the sirens
This guy is obviously a career criminal and knows how to work the system. The judicial system has problems that need to be fixed.
Definitely!
@Ty Taylor, they are not going to try and fix this criminal justice system. It is functioning as designed, and it works harder against some people than it does for others. Oh yes, trust me. It is functioning as designed. 🤡
This is why police are so hesitant in doing things for criminals when they complain. "Please loosen my cuffs, it's soooo tight, you're hurting me!". Is keyword for, make enough room for my hands to slide through.
Blame judges. Each charge carries a minimum and a maximum and the judge can decide to dismiss charges and have them run concurrently. So you could have 20 charges and all of them carry 1-5 years in prison, the judge can simply order that you serve all charges concurrently for 1 year.
@@LukeL007 thank you Mr. Discovery Channel 🙏.. Most of us are aware of how the judges have all these options. But if I'm rich and connected, my slice of the justice pie is much sweeter than a guy who is not. Or some "poor minority", meaning, "black person". Every month, they are letting them out BECAUSE it was discovered that they were falsely convicted for crimes they weren't even present to commit. Then millions are paid out to compensate them for the life they NEVER had opportunity to live and enjoy. Different types of Justin's for different types of people. The numbers don't lie 🤥
There is no awkwardness that compares to the officer of the stolen squad car.
And rightly so, what if while fleeing this guy ended up killing someone because of the cops stupidity
@@Truthbomb918 I mean, they handcuffed him and put in in the back of the car. It was not unreasonable for them to think he was securely detained.
@@hellzshotgun there's no reason to leave the keys in the ignition if the officer is not sitting behind the wheel
@@Truthbomb918 Yeah. Blame the cop. What a tool. Lol! Literally cuffed and stowed. Tryhard much?
@@eriklarson9137 well the prisoner is the cops responsibility. The cop left the keys in the ignition, again his responsibility. Of course the cop is to blame for having his cruiser stolen u Clown. Or do u want to blame it on global warming. Maybe u should try harder moron
Mans turned the siren on like he did this before
when the cuffs get put on, the feigning injury always commences.
"there will be additional charges"
-That was prophetic
What a great citizen, wearing his mask and gloves to protect his victims from infection 🤩🙌🏻
He was just not trying to spread the coof!!!!!!

I love this part. Wait for it...

These bots are getting out of hand..
@@metalikz9119 I agree 🤦♂️
Eric ... with outstanding warrants, of course!
Be funny as fuck as a mate, but you couldn’t trust him as far as you could throw em
“Said his lawyer, before the judge handed him a measly 5 years and a $4000 fine”
Lmao! that cop. "i'm trying to work with you guys" cop just straight goes "fuck you" lol!!!!!
Satisfying, yet unprofessional on his part. Trust me, I agree with him, but on the job there are just some things you can't say out loud lol. When this footage got reviewed I'm sure supervisors had a conversation with him about what was said.
@Darkdodger137 it was too funny tho😂
Pretty unprofessional but I can see where he's coming from, the dude just broke into an elderly person's house and it could have gone a whole lot worse.
@@darkdodger137 yeah the pos criminal that just broke into an elderly couples home deserves to be talked to nicely!
I Laughed when he was telling them he has stitches in his hand and the cop just says "I don't don't give a fuck"
Oy… that’s gotta be embarrassing 😮
After she said the thing about the door my nerves were TERRIBLE & then she went back in, then the cop had his back to the door. 🤦🏽♀️
"just got a bunch of stitches in my hand"
"i don't give a fuck"
me too. 5:03
That cop is my spirit animal
Suspect: “ I been trying to work with you guy’s ”
Long Pause …
Sheriff: “ Fuck you, you weren’t working with us ”
4:54 “…get on your knees & open your mouths” -Big Bob 🤣🤣🤣 …I’m stoned 🤷🏾♂️
That would be so, so scary finding out some stranger was living/hiding in my house.
Imagine waking up and finding an empty cop car in your back yard.

There is a small part of me whenever I see someone steal a cop car that thinks go go go! But then I remember it’s real life and think, they better stop them quick. Conflicting emotions!
Grand Theft Auto games make it seem like fun and harmless.
@@Gustav-uv3vg i used to be seriously obsessed with that game. what made me quit playing it was one day when going to the grocery store with my two babies, i pulled up to a stoplight and i had an urge so overwhelming to get out and pull the person next to me out of their car ... it was becoming instinctual to the point i had my hand on my door handle before i even realized what was happening. i have not played the game since ... and what was also eye opening is how difficult it was to not pop in the game and play it ... it was like an addiction which motivated me even more to not play it. i am thankful i had that experience before my sons were old enough for video games .... by that time, we got rid of our system and did not get another one for their sake.

Man must've sucked playing hide & seek as a child. Should've just left the bathroom door open & stood there with his eyes closed.
Shouldn't of left the side door open to the outside was his first mistake
