If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
There used to be an amazing British embassy on that road ,imsure you remember ,what a disgrace Britain let it go ,it was a stunning piece of architecture and history 😢.....
I believe the British Embassy now occupies a couple of offices in Silom ? Remember being at a garden party with members of the Royal family as an ex pat during the 90s, what a shame it is no longer there was such a unique property!
Ha ha. There may be a tunnel, but I doubt it goes between those two buildings. They're doing construction/expansion on the US embassy. The workers are all flown in from the US. Very tight security.
@@EagerExpatbut I think there's a high chance that the tunnel would exist, because that Vietnam embassy used to belong to the old south Vietnam government embassy, who was a special US' ally at that time. The Vietnamese embassy also built and completed during the Vietnam war. Its location is also surrounded by the US offices, so maybe it would have a tunnel connect the Vietnam embassy to the US ambassador residence, mostly to send their secret confidential documents. But who knows, only the government knows lol

I pretty sure that there's a tunnel connecting the us ambassador residence with the Vietnam Embassy under the wireless road.
