  • Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

    If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.

    Excellent video. I was just there in January, never miss Lumphini when I go, very peaceful place. I usually spend all morning there then go across Wireless Rd. to Soi Polo for lunch at Polo Fried Chicken. Simple, but Michelin-starred place where half a chicken and rice runs around 160 baht. If you've never tried it, I totally recommend.

    With all of the monitor lizards hanging out there you kinda wonder if this is what inspired the Dead Milkmen’s choice of record title. lol. Thanks for the great video Joe.

      @@TonyVsSportsShortsandMore Country Dick was a buddy of mine. They were a San Diego band. In fact my mom went to school with Sue Rainey. Her brother, Jerry Rainey was the guitar player in the band. Saw the Beat Farmers a hundred times. Mojo Nixon, Steve Poltz, I knew all those guys. Steve wrote Jewell's song you were made for me. I kinda knew Jewell, we all went to South By Southwest in Austin. But she rode in another car with Steve. That was a great time 1993 or 94? Before they were Stone Temple Pilots, they were Mighty Joe Young, Beats, Rugburns (Steve's band) We all took a road trip to Austin. After Seattle, they were looking for the "San Diego Sound"

      @@EagerExpat very cool. There are and really have always been so many great bands to come out of mid/ Southern California. Such a great punk scene. Black Flag, Agent Orange, Social Distortion to Pennywise, No/Fx and probably my favorite; Lagwagon. But you already know that, you lived it. We’ve had a great local scene in Chicago but a little more sv

    Fair mount Park in Philadelphia is 2054 acres. That park is so massive that you’d scarcely know you were within city limits, however. Different genre.

    • @EagerExpat
      @EagerExpat  5 месяцев назад

      I've did the you buy, we cook lunch counter a few dozen times. I've did that at Emporium, Terminal 21 and Paragon over the years. It's really the same price as many pubs these days. O'Shea's has a nice 250g filet mignon dinner for 499b. Many of the steaks in Gourmet Market are 600b plus. I prefer less meat these days. A big Texas size steak, put's me to sleep after 3 or 4 beers.

I don't know much people in Bangkok so it would be fun to grab a beer or something! And I have some information as well: Bouganvilla (spelling) is actually "Foon-faa" in Thai. Weirldy enough my wife taught me this more than 10 years ago and it stuck! Thanks again for the video!
