I ditched Facebook a little over a year ago and I gotta be honest, I can't think of anything to miss about it. It's probably just the same old gossip and irrelevant photos.
I've always wanted to try reading 100 books in 1 year and so far I've gotten to 54 books (a few I read a second time this year). I really think I can get to 100 this year!

    Nice video!
I ditched Twitter as my first social media platform. It was terrible for my mental health. The whole cancel culture thing was beyond annoying, and scrolling through memes made me feel like I was wasting my life away. No way I'm going back to that. On the other hand, RUclips and WhatsApp are my go-to healthy platforms. I enjoy watching advice videos on RUclips, and WhatsApp keeps me connected with friends and family 😄

Same, twitter was so toxic and was destroying my mental health, now too, I also only use WhatsApp and RUclips.

You are right GIRL. I got the social dilemma documentary and watched it a month ago. All issues mentioned in the documentary are how social media is ruining our lives, and how the platforms are designed to be addictive and disturbing us. Literally, social media made us unsocial instead of connecting us. Watching that documentary was the turning point for me to start digital minimalism and in some cases complete social media detox. So many things happened after my decision to quit Facebook, TikTok, and the like. I got more time to spend on something really important, reading books, focusing on only truly matter kinds of stuff and no more comparison of myself with the filtered lives of people on social media. Before, I used to spend tremendous hours of my life on TikTok and Facebook daily and missing important activities in my life. Then procrastination brought in and it is so annoying and I ask myself, what the heck I was doing? Then, after a little relief, I was doing the same thing and it was just unhealthy use of the platforms and costs me a lot. Now, the story is quite different, I started to focus on only important things and get rid of these addictive and destructive platforms.
For everybody reading my comment, I am not good at English if you may find it a bit sloppy I apologize for that. Love you all!!!!

I quit fb almost 2yrs, no regret. Had tik tok foi two weeks and delete it. My brain just couldn't handle so much content and i made the mistake to comment one thing and i was judge thought hell, omg, deleted it. My problem is IG. But realizing that it's just a business platform, right now. So.. Delete.

Honestly I’m taking a 2 year break for all the social media I use and I can say social media is not a good place it causes a lot of problems on how I view myself not only that I’m also going through a break up and I know being on there won’t be good for my health I really lost who I was and what I liked to do and I do feel like this break on it has taught me so much about me and life,

I deleted all social media, got bored and made a new Snapchat, deleted it again. I believe I am done for real this time. I’m good, those apps are useless & I can careless to show off or look at others show off.
