I always loved to imagine "How CI would've fought against SCP Foundation during 5000". Like after fall of Ganzir, GoC surrenders but CI survives as guerillas and raiding their missions like they always did.
GoC did not surrender, no? Ganzir fell due to an anomalous event, the walls fell, but the soldiers did not.

@@epegorcs6258ganzir was the last strong hold, GOC did not surrender, but instead where destroyed. Same story with the CI most likely. The lore to 5000 is so good, I love it.
The GOC never surrendered they fought hard hold out long as possible but they were overwhelmed by the Scp foundation and scps then it went all quiet after the battle
Imo the fall of Ganzir was bad writing and only happened because the author thinks the foundation should be unbeatable but wrote themselves into a corner where it seemed like the foundation was gonna loose so they had to pull some bs so their favorite faction doesn't loose

I@urgal1988 its in my opinion one of its strongest moments. SCP 5000 is essentially in short. The scp foundation finding....somthing when studying the human Thoughtspehere. This essentially leads to them turning against humanity and changing their primary derective to the extension of the human race.
Now the chaos insurgency has always believed that, they, humanity should use anomalies for the better. No ethics for the anomalies, there is 1 humanity. When scp 5000 breaks out, they are proven right in the fact that anomalies shouldnt trump over humanity . They always believed the same things, but of the old foundation, the one for humanity.
In general, its not really the SCP foundation slogan. Its more the SCP slogan

I always liked to think that during the events of SCP-5000 that the Insurgency never gave up, fighting down to the last man and bullet. Despite taking the name for causing chaos, they really only wanted the betterment of humanity, which is really telling that there is no "good guys" nor "bad guys" in the SCP Universe, no matter who is painted to look like either.

I've always hated how the Chaos Insurgency is never mentioned in the official SCP-5000 lore despite them being the ones who have been fighting against the Foundation for the longest time, so I like to imagine that they fell to the Foundation in one last glorious stand against all odds, and it is largely due to their efforts that the Global Occult Coalition and Church of the Broken God could continue their own anti-Foundation operations for so long. thank you for making this

In the Vanguard timeline, while no one has explored it in a tale yet, it wasn’t just the Serpent’s Hand that got an ideological victory there. It was also the CI, if you headcanon them with the values seen in SCP-CN-2000 or SCP-8399 (I think…title on the latter is “INSURGENCE”).

This happened just as the foundation stormed the door of the 55-ton bunker, a massive firefight with many casualties on both sides, the Engineer, Jared, DELCOM-3, DELCOM-7 and some Gamma+ rated insurgents boarded the emergency train, regrouping with the last insurgents, the Engineer asked Jared to send one last message to the Chaos Insurgency Network,
“Insurgents there no longer hope is any hope for us. We failed to deliver humanity from the curse that is the SCP Foundation, I am sorry and I wish that things were different, this world never wanted us but only now we must go. Some units of the mobile task force followed the convoy of insurgents, Jared quickly helping the engineer reload the FGM-148 Javelin, which destroyed the MTF APC.
The insurgency convoy arrived in Ganzir, hellfire in that place, some friendly fire occurred during the evacuation to Ganzir, the last insurgency convoy had mainly infantry fighting vehicles and Humvees, heavy vehicles that the insurgency operated, since they had already been destroyed during the SCP invasions, the UNGOC quickly opened the Ganzir gate, at that moment, the insurgency no longer existed, at that moment they became part of humanity's last efforts, they are not insurgents, they are not UNGOC, they are not [Insert GOI here], they are humans, the indomitable human spirit.
That is the best SCP-5000 soundtrack I've heard and you very well done that emotional feel of it. That was a true Chaos Insurgency Last Stand.

the S.C.P foundation is an internet based unfiction writing project of sorts, started near the beginning of the 2010's i believe with S.C.P-173,
its about an organisation which contains anomalous entity's, objects and things that fall under never category, and keep the world in a state of perceived normalcy, if you have watched "the men in black" trilogy and show or played remedy entertainments "control" it should ring familiar.
if they are a member of the site (and they are approved by moderation) one can upload tales, (short story's), groups of interest in the S.C.P world, S.C.P-001 proposals (after someone created an awful 001 the slot was locked, so people agreed to get around it by making proposals, which are usually bigger than the average S.C.P, and are usually self contained to their own worlds), and of course S.C.P's
to make writing easier it has no canon so people don't have to deal with consistency in what S.C.P's are canon to any given, well, anything.
now S.C.P-5000 (called "why") is about the heads of the S.C.P foundation finding something in the collective unconscious who's purpose made them decide to use their resources (which includes nuke's and all of the S.C.P's in their containment) to wipe out humanity,
now this may not be accurate as i'm only working on descriptions given by I.G.P in his video playing the game S.C.P 5k formally known as S.C.P pandemic which is based of S.C.P-5000, but it's the gist of it to my knowledge.

I think my favorite part of SCP-5000 is humanities union, no matter ethnicity, nationality, or organization, with one common goal: to defend humanity.
Although they knew they would lose, they didn't die screaming. Against all odds and all evils, they endured and even remained a threat against the foundation at Ganzir.

I feel bad for Jared and the whole chaos. I just feel that the chaos insurgency is right about everything and the scp foundation is the bad one here. Like Jared said “we must remember why we started. I’d like to imagine that since the CI is know for wanting to use anomalies they probably were the “negotiators” of the GOI’s because not all SCP’s that were set free were compliant with the order kill humans such as 999, 073, maybe 049 and obviously many others. it’s stated the foundation killed a lot of humanoid anomalies but they probably just did that because the entity might affect them too. So maybe the made deals with them saying things like “you don’t want to kill but you don’t want the foundation coming after you so if you join us and fight them you’ll be able to stay free while at saving lives”
