[SCP Theme] Duplicity and Disillusion - The Rise of the Chaos Insurgency

- Welcome back everyone,
They say, "you either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain". The chaos Insurgency is considered to be one of the main antagonists of the SCP foundation, though that was not always the case.
"To the majority of the Foundation and the anomalous world, the Insurgency was a splinter group that went A.W.O.L. with several researchers and anomalous objects. In reality, the O5 Council had created the Insurgency to complete missions with ethically questionable methods and politically unsavoury results"
And this did work, for a while at least; The Foundation's biggest lie had become a reality, and the Insurgency actually went rogue. The Foundation covered it up with the pretence that they were always a splinter group not sanctioned by the Foundation, though the reasons for this defiance were never resolved.
The Insurgency tells us that they will use the anomalous to build a utopian future, where humanity is master of everything; not just a mirage where "consensus reality" itself is an illusion perpetrated by the Foundation.
And perhaps what they say is true;
Maybe they were disillusioned with the actions of the Foundation.
Maybe they were sick of the Foundation's duplicity.
Maybe they wanted to create a utopian world by becoming the villains.
Maybe they always had these aspirations of destroying the status quo.
This is what we are left with; a lot of Questions and none of the Answers.
Though, the alternative is a lot more terrifying; what if these Idealistic aspirations are but a cover for the true intentions of the Chaos Insurgency, and what are the true goals of the Chaos Insurgency?
Who knows what the Chaos Insurgency actually wants?

Not joking though, the music doesnt make them sound like cold blooded killers, but instead gives them a purpose, fighting for an actual cause!.. Well, the cause is.. World domination.. But still a cause to work for!

I wrote this song from the perspective of the Chaos Insurgency, based on a sort of concept that they were disillusioned with the actions of the Foundation and were sick of the Foundation's duplicity after they, quoting the Chaos Insurgency Hub directly, "completed missions with ethically questionable methods and politically unsavory results-while keeping the Foundation's public reputation clean", hence also the title.
Though for me personally, they still very much remain the villains.
@@PolaroidIrisProductionsA lot of it depends on what tale/hub/storyline/SCP you’re reading, so most interpretations of them being good or evil are correct in some ways. Also, as a thing to consider, most of the times the CI are featured is from the Foundation’s perspective, which is obviously biased.
I love the chaos insurgency, they have done and seen thing no one should by force directly by the O5.
Love it so much. I noticed parts that weren’t the same as the 05 song but definitely remained me of that theme. Idk if that was intentional but if it was that’s a cool connection to they’re origin.

I intentionally added a somewhat modified O5 motif, considering that the SCP Foundation created the Chaos Insurgency, which I just found fitting.

"Should intermittent vengeance arm again His Red Right Hand to plague us?" is a line from Paraide Lost. A demon says it, arguing that they shouldn't anger God further so they don't draw His wrath. In this case, I think the Chaos Insurgency fears the wrath of the Foundation for their rebellion.

Morality is subjective and to the Insurgency, the Foundation has gone too far with its mission. With one act, they severed the red right hand of the Foundation and went AWOL.

My theory on why the Chaos Insurgency exist is because The Scarlet King cannot come to our earth since we don't have world peace chaos is still around, so what if the reason the Chaos Insurgency is around to make sure peace never comes? I mean think about if all of the world counties become peaceful and the foundation is still having a hard time to keep the Chaos Insurgency at bay, then the Scarlett King will never step foot to our home. So what if the Chaos insurgency are really the good guys?
