- A review of the Haida 150mm filter holder for the Nikon 14-24 f/2.8 lens.
This holder also fits other super wide angle lenses that take the 150mm filter size, however they will use a different adapter ring.
I was sent out the products from Haida to review but it includes my honest opinions about the system having used it for almost 3 months. I am upgrading from the Nisi 100mm system and have experience with other holders so I have those standards in mind when reviewing.
Just bought this for my Nikkor 14-24. Thanks for the review.
Just buy some bright white , yellow or, red finger nail polish to make the mounting marks bigger.
Hi! Nice review, one question, does this holder can operate other brands filters like Lee? Or filter thickness is different?
What happens if you use a square CPL and a ND Grad together? Do you have to rotate the entire holder for the square CPL? But then, what about the ND Grad? Is it non-aligned with the horizon?
I would see this as the only major weakness...trying to use the grad with the square CPL. Obviously you would be forced to use the CPL at 90 degree increments by taking it out of the holder and reinserting it. Quite a hassle and only allowing the exact 90 degree changes.
Can't you rotate the actual filter holder?
How to install the holder from scratch?
I also just picked up a 14-24 mm Nikon lens . What's the price for a polarizer for this Haida system ?
Round about 150 Euros for the 150x150 filter.
what 6 stop filter is that? please and can i get that on a 10 stop too?
