I'm not a wide angle filter person. But because Mr Frost reviews it, I watch it 🤣

crazy price, you can get a 15mm f/2.0 laowa lens with 77mm circular for the price of filter alone system.

Its for expensive wide angle primes mostly.

Will a 95mm filter screw into where the magnetic cpl wouuld go? Dont really care for the massive set up, seems like it not quick to maneuver. Like the way it attaches to the sigma 14-24 but wish theres a way to use a circular filter on that not a 150x150

Generally a CPL for such wide angles will bring weird gradations. That's why I stopped using CPLs with my UWAs (beyond 16mm, FX).

Thanks so much for this. When you mention they are heavy, I don't suppose you know the actually weight of the system when used with only a CPL filter?

You should be able to use other filters of 2mm thickness (I'm not guaranteeing anything! But you should be able to)

Hey, I've got a question between the tamron 100-400 vs the canon 70-300 nano usm.
*(I know this isn't what this video is about, but thought I would get a response fastest from your newest video)*.
To me it seems the 70-300 has much faster and more accurate autofocus while still being a bit sharper. Along with the small aperture boost, because it is sharper, I could crop in more and possibly even make up for the extra 100mm reach
But the tamron 100-400 still seems to have good af speeds and is reasonably sharp.
What would you suggest between the two.
I need an upgrade from my very sharp but also very slow focusing 55-250 stm

Hey Chris, unrelated to this video, but I am ordering an old Nikon 50mm f1.2 manual focus for my camera. If you would be interested in reviewing it, id be more than happy to loan it to you. It's an amazingly fast piece of glass for around $300 from Japan.

    Impressive results.
However, not for techno incompetents like me.
Like doing landscapes, some river and streams....problems compounded by very large filter sizes of most quality wide angle lens, FF and even MFT wide angle zooms.
Have always found cost of quality ND and even graduated polarising filters a deterrent.
Doubtless, were I confident of success, over time would manage to save for even Nisi Nds.
Will have a few more views of the very extensive test Chris did of a wide range of ND filters last year.

helo brother, your videos are awesome. I love those as those are very informative with detailed information. I need one suggestion from you. I have canon EOS 200D mark ii/sl3/250D. I need a telephoto zoom lens. I need good video quality and sharp image quality. I am confused between canon 55-250 IS STM and Canon 70-300 nano usm lens. Is it advisable to invest more in 70-300 nano usm for my camera? Or it is better to go for 55-250 IS STM? As you mentioned in your video autofocus for photography and video is better in 70-300 nano usm. In which lens sharpness and contrast is better. Please give your valuable suggestions.

If you really want the extra reach for wildlife photography then the 70-300. Otherwise, the 55-250 STM is really great

With the mini screwdriver supplied, it is impossible to loosen the screws to expand the slot for two filters. I am angry.

Christopher, you should really try MFT. I hate to add another camera system to your already crowded camera bag but there are some really great classic lenses. I gave up trying to interest the Angry Photographer. He hates MFT. If he was given an MFT camera he would probably take it in the street and water it......for you excessively polite folks.

@@christopherfrost Chris, you are literally the only reviewer doing objective testing. Ken does objective testing but then gives his subjective opinion. He does Nikon & Fuji and has roughly 200K followers. I think you slightly exceed him, but just imagine if you did a whole new system. You might add another 50K. I dont know how the monetisation works but if you add thousands of followers its bound to increase your income stream.
