Liz Truss has been Prime Minister for over a month now and she’s not exactly had the most cracking start. So with the wider party in utter disarray - it seems like a pretty good time to look into who could replace Truss if the Conservative Party do decide to eject her from the top job.

My guess is she will be shown the writing on the wall this weekend - and will resign early in the coming week. She can't wait too long, or the market will make her dimise more of a nightmare for everyone. If she doesn't resign voluntary, she will either have to keep making U-turns - cause there isn't a majority in Parliament for much of her policies - or she will soon find herself in the situation where King Charles has to intervene and tell her to call an election. The Tory party don't want that too happen. But the longer she is in number 10 pushing policies many Tory MPs doesn't support, the higher the risk of something like that to happen. Which is why I think she will be left no other choice but to resign voluntarily - and pushed to do so soon.

Even though she recycled a lot of ministers who served in the Bozo cabinets, she is the one leading the charge which ignores all economic reality. Such a shift in policy should be voted on by the people - it clearly has to receive at least some scrutiny, if not full scrutiny. Look at the damage it's already done. The UK system prevents that from going back to the people - which is undemocratic. Under our unwritten constitution, there's the idea of a mandate - the confidence of the people. American here 🇺🇸. I watched and listened on the morning Boris Johnson left #10 to meet the Queen at Balmoral. He was energetic and full of charisma, even as he was about to leave the job he truly loved so much. He’s a talented speaker who can hold his own. Many MP’s and supporters were there surrounding him.
Then a few hours later I listened to what sounded like a dying bird caught in a fishing line when Liz Truss stood in front of the same lacquered door. Her first remarks were underwhelming, and didn’t instill any confidence. In fact it was sad.
I just couldn’t understand why a confident leader like Boris Johnson had to be replaced with dying bird lady. Even the Queen was known to favor Boris - Zelensky as well! Then I heard about his “scandals.” Turns out during Covid restrictions Boris attended 2 social events. Seriously?? That’s it?? Our President Trump literally incited an insurrection & massive riot at the Capital!
If the UK wants stability at this perilous time then bring back Boris Johnson who has the experience & expertise to lead.
