My favourite of his 27 cello concertos. Very unusual in beginning with a slow movement. Such profoundly soulful inspiration in the feeling of it and a very sensitive performance.
Recently I realized that I love every and each piece from Vivaldi!!!

Agreed, Vivaldi is one of those rare composers who never wrote a bad piece of music.
If Don Antonio Lucio VIVALDI, master of the masters, had composed even ONLY this concert, he would still have been the greatest MASTER of all time.

@@user-lh6yb3tq6t SO TRUE! In my honest opinion, viola sounds better than violin. Yup, I said it. And keep in mind that that's coming from a pianist/cellist, not a violist. That being said, I still prefer the cello, if we're comparing the bowed strings, but sometimes I sincerely cannot tell which is playing, which shows how similar their levels of beauty can be.

Isn’t there another concerto by Vivaldi where there’s an allegro that starts with the same rhythm as the one here? I’ve been searching for that movement since it was removed from Inspirazione Barrocco’s channel.
