I have been going through some difficult times with my son in a hospital and this music has been such a healthy way to live one day at a time when noone knows can say how our future will be. I remember my mom who taught me to feel classical music when I was a little child and Albinoni connects my soul with possitive sensations to believe that everything will be fine.

I stayed almost 8 months in a sterile room for leukemia. Classical music helped me a lot. Classical music, and in particular Albinoni's airy and gentle music, has helped me a lot to transcend pain and doubt in order to let go and rely on fate with confidence and without fear.
It's Sunday, I check whatever messages are new, my cat is my lap and I know classical music relaxes him. Such beautiful music. A Sunday morning well spend.

I know very well Lara Fabian's rendition of Adagio, but never knew that the music was written by Tomasso Albinoni. Yesterday I was driving home from work after three surgeries, pretty stressful, and suddenly Adagio G minor comes out of speakers of my car radio. I instantly recognized the melody and it was an eye opening for me who wrote it. What a wonderful piece of music, absolutely genius. Thank you very much for making this music available for listening.

It's such a joy to find a "new" composer. I knew of Pergolesi, but finding the Jaroussky-Barat--Stutzman "Stabat Mater" was like discovering a beautiful new planet...wow! And if you love music, Peter Mattei's Winterreise (Schubert) is MESMERISING. I could listen a thousand times and still find something new and amazing. His accompanist, Lars David Nilsson is amazing, so sympatico with the composer and interpreter, Peter.
It was very kind of you to upload this album with Albinoni's musical works. This generation of musicians from Venice in the first half of the 18th century had a unique artistic sensibility. How much joy and celebration of the affections of life this music still gives us!

I grew up listening to the wonderful, irreplaceable Karl Haas on WQXR out of NYC. As well as being highly educational, it was one of my greatest delights. How I miss that enthusiastic "Hello, everyone!"

Trees swaying to a gentle breeze and a blue sky dotted with a few white clouds. I can imagine a family relaxing on a blanket after a picnic watching the scenery, dressed in satin brocade and lace Baroque fashion. Albinoni is like a painter of master strokes. I feel so relaxed and happy after listening to this concerto.

This "heavenly" music is just that. It is an inspiration from God who grants to the composer a talent and a desire to produce profound music that will glorify the Lord in all His majesty. How do you suppose that Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, and the legions of other great composers came by their immense talents? They, and we all, were created in the image of God in order to bring glory to His name and to produce the offspring of our talents, regardless of whatever field of study that we pursue. Each of us, from the least to the most talented, must do our work to the glory of God and thank Him for all the blessings that He has bestowed upon us.

I have ever heard these works performed to such exquisite advantage as here. It extends one's listening repertoire beyond the normal range and limitations, Some composers have one or two works of genius, but Albinoni has rather more than that. He haunts one with his works. I heard these works shortly before going to Venice one November for a conference. The Gondolas were , tied up, bobbing in the water, the sky was slate Grey and as the train crossed the lagoon this music was conjured up in my mind. I love Vivaldi but Albinoni some how captures the soul more potently as the spirit of Venice, its history its perilous situation, its grandeur, its decay. It is not program music but perhaps epitome of associations
When have time I will point you to some Vivaldi which is fascinating and exquisite, and amazing for its originality and modernity and its beauty. What one can say is that some of the girls in the Pieta must have bee virtuosi . The education provided for these girls was excellent. My tutor in Lausanne said that 'a pantomime in the Pieta had a Goldoni libretto, Canaletto painting the scenery, and Vivaldi's music, and this at a time when Britain they were developing the workhouse @pe7392

Bach up north & Vivaldi & Albinoni in Venice composed these wonderful oboe concertos for my favorite baroque instrument. Vivaldi also contributed wonderful pieces for the viola d’amore in Venice as well, I believe + that lovely concerto for sopranino recorder. The list seems positively endless.

The Gondolas were , tied up, bobbing in the water, the sky was slate Grey and as the train crossed the lagoon this music was conjured up in my mind. I love Vivaldi but Albinoni some how captures the soul more potently as the spirit of Venice, its history its perilous situation, its grandeur, its decay. It is not program music but perhaps epitome of associations

I find Albinoni to be much gentler than Vivaldi; need each in my different moods.
When have time I will point you to some Vivaldi which is fascinating and exquisite, and amazing for its originality and modernity and its beauty. What one can say is that some of the girls in the Pieta must have bee virtuosi . The education provided for these girls was excellent. My tutor in Lausanne said that 'a pantomime in the Pieta had a Goldoni libretto, Canaletto painting the scenery, and Vivaldi's music, and this at a time when Britain they were developing the workhouse @pe7392

Bach up north & Vivaldi & Albinoni in Venice composed these wonderful oboe concertos for my favorite baroque instrument. Vivaldi also contributed wonderful pieces for the viola d’amore in Venice as well, I believe + that lovely concerto for sopranino recorder. The list seems positively endless.

Yes Albinoni one the greatest composer our episode life's. The most composers I know from my childhood because my mom and my pa heard almost just classical music and me too like I was little child. And my love to this music begins in my very young life. The name I have always now but never heard his compositions. It's very beautiful and this music give me the dream to marry my beautiful wife with legally documents. Because we belong to each other before God because he don't need paper's to marry each other. He gives the blessing to each other from the first moment in our lives because he knows that we love each other. Wonderful music.❤
