Outstanding composition by Vivaldi, and somewhat rare compared to others. I first heard this over the past summer at the Academy of St. Martin's in the Fields in London performed by an ensemble with harpsichord. It was brilliant. Since then I've tried to locate a recording of this piece but it is difficult to find. The RUclips recording of this in B minor, RV 424 has been the only place I've been able to locate it, and I'm surprised it's not more popular. Thanks Oppie47
What a beautiful soul in these ancient instruments. In addition, to be very fond of interpretations of Christophe Coin and Christopher Hogwood serving the compositions of A. Vivaldi. Thank you for all these harmonies. Have a beautiful day, today +oppie47
..and as it should be. Brilliant crescendo handling like a sigh of an memorable account of things. Second movement as if distilled from pure emotion. The final movement enters like a breeze into a room. I have heard so many interpretations, and many more will come. This one is not about interpretation but effect on the human spirit as it should be.
A lovely painting to accompany this gentle Vivaldi.

I hate it when RUclips cuts off in the middle of something and asks if I'm still listening!

Breathtaking! Thank you so much, oppie47, for sharing!
The painting works so well as the regular beat on the double bass suggests something like snow or straw piling up and up.
Siempre Vivaldi! Grande.
Gorgeous playing of Vivaldi.
Vivaldi died a long time ago bro....

Belissimo!

A God Whisper,, Un Susurro De Dios!
Belo efeito textural com o acompanhamento ligeiramente atrasado.

Harikasın vivi
Omg the painting ❤

It's B minor at historic A=415Hz tuning.
B-Minor? This is in B flat minor. The original is in B minor.
It’s B minor with period instruments using A=415Hz tuning.
@@oppie47 so thats why. It sounds like B flat minor with a¹ 440hz. I guess its pretty much a half note lower.
@@halfwaycrook1962
Correct. You’ll also see A=430hz frequently used on period instruments when playing Classical and early Romantic period music.
Qui est le peintre du tableau? On dirait Bruegel le jeune.
Merci beaucoup.
