Oh my goodness - I finally got around to trying your Ranch dressing. I've been using balsamic vinegar to dress my salads, so I hadn't needed anything else. I didn't have Oat Milk, and thought I could substitute Almond Milk instead. But I was wrong on that. The Almond taste was overpowering, even with all the spices and herbs. Knowing I wasn't crazy with the nutritional yeast flavor. I think I'll leave it out next time. This seems to make a lot of dressing. As a single, how long can I expect it to last in the fridge?
You can freeze it in single servings and thaw it out when you want to have it.
Also, next time, I will definitely make it with Oat Milk. However, It was very creamy and smooth, and not unpleasant. But like I said, the Almond flavor was just too strong.
What can you put instead of Stardust ? I live in Canada and can’t get it here ! 😢
I'm wondering what model Vitamix you have? It just looks so different from any on their Website. I like it. Thx and making this dressing tonight!
We've had this dressing 2 nights in a row and it is really delicious! Also - what Vitamix is in the video for this recipe? Can't find it anywhere.
This link is the exact model that we have. Please note that this link is for a "Renewed" unit. amzn.to/3jxxvKc However....This fancier Ascent model is on sale right now for even less $$$ - amzn.to/3t6ryqO
@@NutmegNotebook Thank You Tammy - so much. 3 nights in a row with the dressing and only my way into the kitchen to make more. You were right! We both want more salad because of the dressing! Big Hug...
That makes me so happy Jane! I am glad you like it so much. I was so worried about sharing the recipe as I knew expectations were going to be high for a vegan ranch dressing. I am so pleased that people are indeed enjoying it as much as we do.
Just one more thing - I actually try every vegan ranch recipe I've seen, probably 4, and this one is still
the one I prefer by far! I wouldn't be surprised if this is true for some others.

Have you made a sos free poppyseed dressing?
No I have not made a poppyseed dressing.
Can you put a little mustard with the dressing
How much sodium in the tofu
Zero sodium.
How long will this last in the fridge?
We have had it in the fridge for 5 days and it's been just fine. We usually eat it up before 5 days.
Did you try it using Table Tasty salt substitute? Will it work or will it change the flavor too much?
It would be fine!
Tammi, you look even thinner! I put back on like 20 pounds with Covid. Over eating plant based due to anxiety. Things just keep getting worse and I keep eating, ugh.
Make today the day you eat lean and clean!
What vitamix model do you have?
I heard of another one that uses aquafaba in place of eggs yet it called for oil and vegan yogurt. But I do like this one.
Great!
I couldn’t find 12oz tofu. Can I use 16oz? And would I need more plant milk?
The silken tofu comes in 12 ounce containers and it’s very soft making it perfect for dressings. If you found a 16 ounce container recipe of soft silken tofu just use 12 ounces otherwise all of the portions of the other ingredients will be off and you won’t have the right balance of flavors. It won’t be as flavorful.
what about for people who are allergic to soy and can't do the tofu?
Try subbing white beans - 1 can or box, drained and rinsed.
@@NutmegNotebook Thanks!
