I realized since when I finish next year with my Psychology degree that if I'm going to help our Veterans with their mental health issues, then I need to fix my mental health issues first before I try to help others.

I grew up shy and all that comes with it, but after obtaining my 1st job in the fast food industry in high school, some of my walks began to come down. But it was while I was in community college that one of my older mentors told me to try just giving a guy a compliment. After that, it just became easy for me. @MegaDede25 yes, it is very much worth it. I actually thought that I was good until I went through the steps in the book, that lays out how to heal from all your pain. Now, I don't have any harsh feelings towards those people who hurt me in my family, they didn't know any better, but I needed to heal to move on and because I will be finishing my Psychology degree next year, I need to be in a good place to help those Veterans.

Well...I fell for one of them. He is such a good looking sweetheart(and he is single!)
