Great video as always Joe! However one thing in this Corolla, it uses an eCVT, not a CVT which is pretty different since the the new CVTs are the ones with that initial first gear. Pretty much any new hybrid will be using eCVTs, which are built to be even more efficient than the CVTs that pure gas cars use.

I think I can count on Toyota to maintain legendary Corolla reliability. I've owned two - 92 and 2005. A lot to love about this car, and it's taken me through some serious life changes, moves across the country, etc. Was always amazed how much I could pack it. It has always been a bit underpowered, and you get used to it, but the ONLY thing I've never gotten used to is the road noise. I looked into aftermarket solutions, but didn't wanna rip the floor up. If Toyota can give this a lexus-style sound isolation treatment, maybe as an add-on package, I might buy my third Corolla. It's a very nimble little car, perfect for a daily driver.

If you can get away with using front wheel drive, you gain five miles per gallon.

$25G's for a Corolla AWD and Hybrid...now that's a sensible car. Looks like the Impreza has a showdown a comin' at high noon?
Thanks Joe and Lori for another great info clip from the Big Apple.

Toyota needs this AWD to be up there again because the new Honda civic is way better.
I love Toyota/Lexus but the Corolla was left in the dust by the civic. I drove both of them and the civic won overall. Everything about the corolla felt like it would fall apart in your hands and cheap quality materials also. For a few thousands more the civic is the better bargain for sure.
I hope joe doesn’t mind me commenting on there. I love your professionalism bro and it means I watch all your all your videos 😂

I have a 2020 SE Corolla with a 169 hp, Im getting about 33 mph. Not a bad commuter. Just a few things I need t zonk this vehicle for not have auto android. It only has Apple car play. Not a fan of Apple phones. Though this car handles very sporty and fun to drive. Go with the XSE model instead.
