The touch and trace movement give me a strained pain when I do the action with my index and middle finger. The pain is on the knuckle and proximal phalanx of those fingers. Why is it causing me pain there?
I think it be safe if you ask Physiotherapy for exercise because if you do it wrong or too much pressure on tendon and it can split or cut the tendon.. you do not want to do surgery afterwards

I had an operation on my hand because the thumb tendon was cut, and after removing the stitches, the doctor advised me to do physical therapy, but the thumb tendon got stuck, so the doctor returned the operation to me so that the tendon moved in its course easily. But now the tendon is still short and my thumb can't reach the palm of the hand and the hand muscle is weak and I still can't grab small things with my fingers. Please advise me with information and how long it takes for the tendon to return to its length, knowing that the first operation was in October and the second was in January, and thank you very much for the videos. Yes it does work. The body needs movement after an injury, but first you need to reduce as much inflammation as possible just after the injury (elevation, ice).
what can i do if im not able to do the "spread wide" exercise? i had a dog bite and thats the movements i cant do with my hand and im trying to do therapys to at least recover a % of the movement, if anyone know something, thanks in advice!

Then, lend me tell you that I was almost resigned, but after doing this exercise for about a month, I started getting better and finally I recovered about the 90% of my hand movement, even when I lose completely my little and ring fingers movement, also the thumb finger was affected. I wasn't able to find the exact video where I found it, but it is the same exercise: ruclips.net/video/bdtdfo98gyY/видео.html, obviously it will depend on the severity of your injury, but trust me that this will help you a lot and you will see you'll be able to start doing some of the exercises in this video. This exercise help to improve the ulnar nerve pulses, feel free to talk me if you need more information or maybe other exercises that you could do! NEVER GIVE UP! good luck!
Would these be suitable for a painful and swollen tendon ( I think ) at the base of ring finger which initially had some trigger finger but that has recovered
I have been resting my issue. I try ice when it swells but I noticed that warmth actually helps more. I think its the blood flow. Im also taking Glucosamine collagen and biotin to promote healing and its helpful. Honesty guys, my biggest personal issue is its so hard to rest my hands lng enough to see the healing I desire... You guys really the thing that helped me the most was spending a whole day in bed.
I had an accident on my index finger and came across this it's helpful but I can only do the first one the rest I tried and just died of laughter because i couldn't do them
I am so sorry...it has been very painful for me...but I started therapy on my own. I do not know how severe your injury is...I hope that somehow you regain use of your hand. Do not give up, do at least the ones you can and give yourself time. If your injury happened months ago...it will take long time. My injury is recent...my recovery will be 6 months or more. Meanwhile I will do therapy needed...plus my own. I do not want to lose complete use of my hand...wrist. God bless and take care. I hope it works out for you. I will keep you in prayer.

I don't think so; I think you need to rest your hands for trigger finger and massage it rather than using it
