@@DrGibs347this one is completely stock internals, including the clutch....which we saw was unhappy. A boost compensated clutch and fixing the drive line vibration issue will make it a lot happier.
I had one of these in the mid 90s. I put a 1300 in it. Great little car. 4 wheel drums. I'd thrash it through the Adelaide hills till the breaks stoped working. On cold days steam pissed out of the wheels at the first traffic light at the bottom of old norton summit rd. Good times.
Super keen to hear how you’re solving issues. I want to run a Busa motor in my FWD Hillclimb car and think 350-400hp would be more than enough. Interesting about the large TB and idle control/resolution. What size is the current TB? Going smaller probably won’t hurt this kind of power?
I’ve only seen r1 mini conversions haven’t seen a busy one yet, the other popular bike/car they do is the original mini motor with a bmw dohc motorcycle head conversion
WOW ! what a AWESOME combo , / Or though been Suzuki , A Toyota Equivalent is the 4E-FTE From the Toyota EP-82 Starlet GT , (1.3 Turbo) , BUT would NEVER Rev Like the SUZUKI Hayabusa ENGINE , That plus the turbo is a AMAZING COMBO for SUCH a light weight chassis !!!! / Power to Weight !!!!!!!!!! F$%^EN COOL BUILD though and though GUYS !! GREAT watch !!!!!!!!! ... All the best guys ,.. PLEASE keep putting stuff like this UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , ....
This might be a stupid thing to say, I don't even know if this thing is wet clutch, but I've had past experiences with running regular automotive engine oil with a wet clutch and having clutch slip because of the friction modifiers. Could be worth trying a different oil?
If the throttle is way too touchy you could put in a Delta Load vs Timing Advance table and give it a bunch of retard to make it a bit flatter. That or bolt some gym weight plates to the clutch basket 🤣
Hayabusa powered corolla, Honda powered miata, Ducati powered vw, Yamaha powered mini etc.... These swaps are the best!
300hp is amazing
Those busa engines are known for being pushed past 800hp

I've had a couple ke10's over the years I can't imagine putting that much power in one with the flimsy front suspension lol
Sounds like an F1 engine. Pretty cool conversion. Old corolla is awesome 👌
Bro's been watching a very different Home and Away to the rest of us
I know right
Think he ment home alone lol
Step brother what are you doing with that log
@@NuggetGarage Ever seen Ghostrider doing the Upsala run... ? that bike has about 500bhp....
@@NuggetGarage What about a 5th injector for more fuel ??
Great video , very talented gentlemen. A man of many skills! Like how humble he is. Greetings from USA.
Such a cool little beast. Always wanted a bike powered car, now even more so!! Thanks for continuing to share content mate. Awesome stuff.
I love seeing the KE10.. reminds me of when i was a kid and we would go out doing compression lockups in one of my friends similar era Carolla
Nice one Hoff there's a lot of potential in this little rolla
The Hayrolla it such an amazing build, kickass Scott!!!
Love this car. Was great seeing on the track last weekend mate
So good to see the progress! What a weapon
Sounds cooler than a rotary as well 😋👍

Looks like a fun toy
Watching this evolve will be interesting, i've only ever seen Hayabusa Mini conversions.

Scotty tuned my supercharged mini a while back, will be taking it back to him when the turbo conversion is finished
Clutch limited? It is always something. Should be fun if not fast as the rest of the fleet. Great vid
Eagerly awaiting the Roadtrip footage 🌶🌶
Bike engines are a different beast, on e85 I'm running high 20s deg of timing with 11:1 comp on 15psi, looking at the plugs it could take some more...
Love the mechanical clunking gear changes 👌
If you can get that clutch sorted this will be a mental street car. Go kart with a roof.
Are you running a drive shaft from the counter shaft to the diff? That's some amazing engineering there !!!
Yes
Cheers for the effort guys. Great to see you back.
Here to support the local crew!
By the looks of the taillights, grill and dashboard, isn’t that a KE11?
Well spotted its actually a ke10b

Exciting build. Lovin it
This car is too cool 🤘 keep it up
Hanging to see this beast, would be a fun toy like a sleeper as lights hehe
HAYABUSA

Correct not stupid, as long as he is running a bike specific oil for wet clutches it should be good. If the clutch isn't worn.
Keep the great work going!
Love this busa qction, yeww! ❤❤ ps redlands rocks

Watch the previous videos its all in them
Hoff chat with the guys from s and r pro they do these for a living maybe they might help guide you as to what the engines will hold
Rev me up Scotty!
Thanks 4 the spoil
Well done Hoff. Can’t believe the shaft was bent. What a caused that? Poor manufacturing?
She,s a little ripper hey :)>>
Would u say it needs a bigger rear turbo housing for more rpm and hp?
I got a Ford KA, can you help me put a Turbo Heyabooza in it?
300hp plus
What hoops did you have to jump through to get this registered?
Only live once.
It was registered before the swap no doubt. But given its got the rego to the world, they can request an inspection.
Dobbers wear nappies last time I checked.
Nice.
Legend
Is the engine forged ? 👍
😊😊😊😊😊
EBC makes a rebuild kit for the 'Busa slipper clutch...
There's heaps of different multi stage lockup and boost compensated clutches available.
Fuck yes dude
Nice!

Not quite 12000 RPM hey lol What ya aint got in RPM ya make up in BOOST :)>>
