A solo cabin is a great idea, but the cost of the flight costs almost as much as the cruise. If the embarkation port and debarkation port is different the cost of the flight goes up significantly. I'm 1400 miles from the nearest ocean!!! If I have to embark in Southampton, Amsterdam, or Barcelona...I'm screwed.

I have been on them a number of times and use the studios I like it in the concierge being there helping organize activities is a plus
Love the studio rooms! They are perfect and have more storage than you need. Very cozy
Yes they are! Definitely a decent option if you are a solo traveller. Everyone we know that has used them said they were perfect for one person.
I would feel very claustrophobic in a studio suite although I love the lounge perks.

Inaccurate information there are solo balcony suites and solo ocean view/picture view cabins on NCL.
