They persecute everyone who isn't hindu. You're wrong. People can live in countries and people can have religions that doesn't mean that their beliefs are welcome in the countries they go to. the zoroastrians were probably seen as immigrants at first but once their religion was known the hindus did what hindus do however britain owned india for a long time and show tolerance for other religions as a christian nation does and even gave indian muslims their own countries dividing india into I think fifths or maybe thirds or forths I don't know which nations were a part of british raj but it was at least divided into thirds with two muslim nations and one hindu. You can practice the religion. Yeah even if the Parsi in India doesn’t agree with it, we have to understand that Our Prophet he used to go out and convert people like he did with the king of his time .
Zoroastrianism wasn't founded 4,000 years ago. First of all the first empire that was zoroastrian was the persian which wasn't an empire until 550 BC-330 BC when the Achaemenid empire began and one of Zoroaster 's followers was the king of where he lived in what is today iran. Thus the king would have made the kingdom Zoroastrian. The persians didn't arrive in that area until the 7th century B.C. or the 600s B.C. The Zoroastrians weren't well known and weren't even persian until at the most 2,600 years ago but zoroaster wasn't persian and the religion supposedly existed before that so it seems impossible because the Aryans were the only other people to live in the area unless before the persians and aryans a few people lived there in settlements but zoroaster was from an aryan occupied place that is now known as Iran. Thus he could not have existed until the aryans arrived in 500 B.C. However, tradition also records that he was 40 years old when he converted Vishtāspa, most likely a king of Chorasmia, in 588 B.C., thus indicating that his birth date was 628 B.C. meaning that he was persian but that means that he was one of the first or second generations of persians so unless they set up a religion as soon as they got their then he grew up and decided the religion wasn't right and then went off and converted a king 22 years after he left home and discovered the true religion meaning he ran around preaching for two decades before the king converted and since they lived around the time the persians arrived in that land and were persians then the king or his father would have made the polytheistic religion the religion of persia and would not have converted after a little while of his country being polytheistic because that would mean that they hadn't given polytheism a chance just because some random guy claims that one of the gods they worshipped was actually the only god and that one god somehow got mixed up with the other gods because that totally makes sense just kidding he was just a guy talking and trying to found a religion and then zoroastrians who tried to keep their religion from going extinct took from the story of Jesus and added that he was in a river when a light shown upon him and talked to him mirroring Jesus' baptism and a bunch of other stories and ideas I'm sure that zoroaster just wrote the gathas or sang them or whatever he did and taught the basics of the religion also recorded in the avesta but the stuff about his life were added later though some of the stries are true such as him existing and teaching monotheism to people. I realise that I disproved his existance being 4,000 years ago just by the historical dates that are obvious if a zoroastrian put together a timeline of their religion like how he was a persian and the persians didn't arrive in that area where he lived called AiRYANem vaejah named from the ARYAN race who got there after the persians yet he lived according to the avestas at the same time as a king who lived in the 500s B.C. and he was persian so he was a persian who lived in an aryan occupied place now known as Iran in the 600s and 500s B.C. who's followers after his death took stories from Jesus' life and wrote them in their own scripture as if they happened to their prophet and somewhere along the way they were stupid enough to believe that the first record of their existance has nothing to do with their existance and that they were never a nation or an empire til a random guy named king cyrus decided that the Zorosatrian religion should spread and that his empire should with it after about 3,500 years of it's existance as a religion they decided that was the time to expand and convert. You have to be mental to think he lived 4,000 or more years ago even the avestas prove that wrong by naming a peoples a place and a person that lived nowhere near 4,000 years ago. retard.
There is another really good video about Zarathustra/Zoroaster by Jason Reza Jorjani, packed with fascinating information. There was a philosophy before the religion, which he focused on and speculated about its links with Hinduism and Hellenic philosophy. It was so informative that i need to watch it again and take notes. He also did another excellent video on Mithraism in Persia.

Divine Attributes, as in later Avesta are called Amesha Spenta are manifestations of God, Ahura Mazda. They are part of God, compared to the light analyzed in six spectrums. Every man and woman by attainment of the Divine Attributes, can morally achieve evolution (Haurvatat), become immortal like-God. A perfect human is indeed the mirror image of God. In the Gathas of Zarathushtra, there is no mention of Angra Mainyu ( or Ahriman in later Avesta). There is no entity that comprises all the evil and vices as Satan , devil or demon in other religions. So, in Zarathushtra's mindset no demon or bad god exists to stand against the good God, Ahura Mazda. Of interest, there is no mention of Demon, or bad god in the Achaemenian inscriptions. As Ahura Mazda is the source of all good, Zarathushtra resolves the issue of evil and good, as two phenomena born from the beginning in the mind. The means of choice between the two, are wisdom and free-will with knowledge of end results. The result of good choice is constructive, and the bad choice, is resorting to anger and destroying the living world. The result of correct choice, is spiritual relief discerned in conscience, and the bad choice brings inner torment. So. heaven and hell are not depicted in physical terms, but the two states of mind when we live in this world.
Now a day scholars are saying Zartosht was never a profit. He was an thinker and philosopher. Zoroastrianism is not a religion it is way of living. “Goftar Nik, pendare nik and kerdare nik”.

Thank you for this video, just subscribed! I was looking for more information on what the afterlife in Zoroastrianism are like and found this video. I was curious to see if the heaven and hell are a lot like Christianity and/or Islam.
No. Our “hell” if you can call it hell, is a place of TEMPORARY penance, and that “penance” is just a state of hopelesness, mixed with cold and solitude. The key here is that unlike the other “gods”, Ahura Mazda is incapable of punishing a soul eternally, since he IS all good. Angra mainu “the devil” was in the creation another Amesha spenta, but trough his free will he chose to corrupt Ahura Mazda’s creation, but originally the world was perfect. God did not create evil, evil chose to become a reality and hell was created by that fallen angel, not by God, and since God will triumph over evil someday, hell will be destroyed. The christian version of god is willing to punish you for eternity, while the true God doesn’t even designed hell. Ashem vohu.

Zoroastrianism is not believed to have influenced the Abrahamic religions, that's like saying, horse wagons are [not] thought to influence the car. To properly express this idea, it should be said that the Abrahamic religions adopted Zoroastrian concepts (like copy+paste). I made a correction. The message is supposed to suggest that: saying the previous thing did not influence the current thing is ridiculous.

If I understand the dates correctly, the doctrines of Zoroaster were opposed by the Persian polytheists until Zoroastrianism became the official religion of the Persian Empire sometime after the Babylonian captivity of the southern kingdom of Judah in 597 B.C. In 539 B.C. the Persians conquered Babylon, thus ending the Babylonian Empire. About 537, The Persian king, Cyrus, gave the Hebrews permission to return to Judea. (See Ezra 1:1-4.) About 518 B.C. the Persian king, Darius, again issued a decree giving Hebrews permission to return to Judea. (See Ezra 6:1-12.) It seems that it wasn’t until 457, B.C. (some say 458) when the Persian king, Artaxerxes, not only decreed that the Hebrews could return to Judea but provided the financial wherewithal to rebuild the temple and reinstitute its services. (See Ezra 7:11-28.) If I understand the evidence correctly, it was about the time that many of the Hebrews were living in the Persian Empire that Zoroastrianism became the official religion of the empire. This raises the question: To what extent did the religion of the Hebrews influence the religion of the Persons and/or to what extent did the religion of the Persians influence the religion of the Hebrews? Can someone explain why the question of whether Zoroastrianism influenced the Hebrews is much more common that the question of whether the Hebrews influenced Zoroastrianism?
Achaemenid rule was really when the Judaism was codified, with the Torah being written down. Before this, Judaism was much more pagan in nature. While Yahweh was the main god worshipped at the Temple, there were various other lesser deities who would have been worshipped around nature, such as at rocks or streams. Strict monotheism only occurred after this period, and as such without Zoroastrianism I doubt we would have the Abrahamic religions in their modern form.

Zoroastrianism is not a Persian religion. It is an Iranian religion and Iranian or Iranic can also mean Lurish, Kurdish, Talysh, Balochi and so on. Zoroastrianism originates from the eastern part of the Iranian plateau (probably Afghanistan, Turkmenistan or northeastern Iran). These parts were not originally Persian-speaking. Fun Facts: You pronounced the names wrong. Zoroastrianism is not monotheistic but Duotheistic. Ahura Mazda and Angra Manyu (probably spelled wrong) were of equal power.
The Gāthās are not Manichaeist, and Manichaeism is not representative of zoroastrism, it had been a late branch of it. So no, it is a monotheism,” darkness is literally the absence of light” ( which is true according to science). You fight lies with truth, you fight oppression with justice.
Prophet Abraham is the accendent of Jacob (Isreal) the father of Joseph. Joseph is the prophet who went to Egypt before the Pharoes. Abraham is believed to have lived well before 3000 BC, that is more than 5000 years ago. Prophet Abraham would have been the first to have an organized monotheistic religion.
I'm a zorastrian, about fact number 4, what you told is not accurate, in zorastration there is No hell or heaven, there is no evil and angra meynu is not in front of God, it's not God enemy, it's only a meaning, meaning bad mind, opposite to Vohuman meaning good mind, and both angra meyno and vohuman both only exist in the mind and imagination, as zortosht told. And also our main profit book is not Avesta, it's GHATHA.
(Incest), In pre-Islamic Persia, where Zoroastrianism dominated, it wasn't viewed negatively at all. Throughout Persian texts like the Shahnameh and Vis o Ramin (Vis marries her brother Viru), you see plenty of examples of incest in Persian stories. It was viewed semi-favorably in pre-Islamic Persia. The marrying of Brother to Sister was a fantastic way to keep the family wealth, not dilute family blood, and it was sanctioned by the Avesta. Incest, particularly within the royal family, was common. "Thus Ardashir, son of Papak, married Denak, daughter of Papak; and Shabuhr I made his own daughter, Adur-Anahid, his Queen of queens." (Boyce, Zoroastrians: Their religions beliefs and practices, pg. 111).
At the same time we can find many examples that contradict the practice of incestuous marriages among the ancient Persians as lawful and common. Herodotus reports (vide BK 3, 31 Seq.) that Cambyses, the son of Cyrus, asked the royal judges (Supreme Court) to investigate and find out if there is any law of the land that allows a man to marry his sister? The royal judges after careful research told Cambyses that in the entire land they could not find any law that permits a man to marry his sister. But as they were afraid of Cambyses who was in love, told him that king stands above the law. Agathias( vide Agathias, Lib. 2,C.24) reports that Arthxerxes the second, fell in love with his daughter, but had ordered to keep it confidential because not only it is inconsistent with the laws of land but it is against the faith of the Persians. Mary Boyce simply states if Herodotus can be trusted in this case?? and ignores the other reports. Your writing was not relevant, what was your intention?
I would like you be careful before drawing conclusion. During the Sasanian era applying one name to several members of the family was common. The names of the kings reflect that. So, it is not difficult to understand as to why the names of Ardeshir's father-in-law matched the name of his father, Papak. To clarify, if the name of your father and your father-in-law happens to be the same, does it mean that you have married your sister? Shapour the first has an inscription that has been misused to interpret for incestuous marriage. In the text Shapour names his wife as the queen and four sons and his one daughter, Azar Anahid. It is quite comprehensible that the only daughter was dear to him and apple of the eye. That is why he calls the daughter, Azar-Anahid the queen of queens. Here those theologian and historians in search of incestuous marriage in ancient Iran have rushed to interpret that Azar-Anahid was married to father and brothers. They fail to understand the women's position in that era and envy the fact that in the later time, when Sasanians were in crisis they had two queens ruling the empire, while up to five centuries later Europe did not have a queen-ruler. The problem with Mary Boyce, like many others is that once they make up their mind they search for evidence to meet their agenda. But careful impartial research will contradict their views.
Another Sasanian literature which has been often manipulated and misinterpreted to present the practice of next of kin marriage, is Arda Viraf Nameh. Viraf is a religious man whose soul traveled to other world to bring observations of heaven and hell. He had seven sisters who were dependent on him for living maintenance, like wives. I will quote the text and let you judge: Viraf had seven sisters who were like (in Pahlavi: Chegun) wives. When they heard those tidings, they came upon them grievously and went to assembly and said do not this thing, for we are seven sisters and he is the only brother (not husband) and we are all seven sisters, like (Chegun) wives of that brother who is our life maintenance. Should you send him, before his time, from this realm of living to that of the dead, you will commit an injustice on us without cause.
Another cause for misinterpretation was the tradition of Pol-Gozari , During the Sassanian era it was generally believed that if a person died childless, could not cross the bridge of judgement to enter heaven. So, on the third day after his/her death, usually a child of a close relative, such as sister was named after the dead brother who will inherit from him as his own son. This child would be registered and recognized as his son. So the real mother will officially introduce the child as her brother's son and his pol-gozar, because the son made it possible for the deceased to cross the bridge of judgement (Chinovat Pol) and enter the heaven. Of course this tradition helped the inheritance to stay in the family.
Finally, if the next-of-kin marriage was a religious decree, then why it was not practiced by Zarathushtra and his family? Zarathushtra (Spitama)and his wife, Haovi (Hvogva), his father, Pourushasp (Spitama) and mother, Dugdva (Zoish) and his daughter, Pouruchista (Spitama) and her husband, Jamaspa? (Hvogva) were of different clans.
Fun fact :1) Maybe zoroaster is a prophet from Allah. Bc Allah said he gave a prophet in every nation. 2) when our last prophet was born that the biggest fire of zoroastrianism was lit off bc it was burning for a thousand years. 3) some ppl says that the zoroastrianism nowadays is not same as before. 4) have a nice day 😊😊😊

You have to be mental to think he lived 4,000 or more years ago even the avestas prove that wrong by naming a peoples a place and a person that lived nowhere near 4,000 years ago. retard.

Interesting and informative. Thank you for your willingness to present this.

Very well explained in such a short time.
Ashem vohu.
@@IrKeNoVa Thank you for this response! :) Actually the more I learn about the bible the more it seems people have twisted verses(for doctrine) and that God is more like how you explained Ahura Mazda. Alhamdulillah for Islam
(See Ezra 6:1-12.)
It seems that it wasn’t until 457, B.C. (some say 458) when the Persian king, Artaxerxes, not only decreed that the Hebrews could return to Judea but provided the financial wherewithal to rebuild the temple and reinstitute its services. (See Ezra 7:11-28.)
If I understand the evidence correctly, it was about the time that many of the Hebrews were living in the Persian Empire that Zoroastrianism became the official religion of the empire.
Thank you ❤️😊

Zoroastrianism is not a Persian religion. It is an Iranian religion and Iranian or Iranic can also mean Lurish, Kurdish, Talysh, Balochi and so on. Zoroastrianism originates from the eastern part of the Iranian plateau (probably Afghanistan, Turkmenistan or northeastern Iran). These parts were not originally Persian-speaking. The language of Zoroastrianism (Avestan) is an eastern Iranian language which is closer to Pashto, Wakhi, Yaghnobi, Pamiri etc. than to Persian.
If one says this religion was introduced to the Jewish population during their captivity in Babylon then that means Judaism was already established by the time this religion was introduced.

I apologize from our Muslim community 🙏😭.
Why?? don't apologize because of others
It really hurts me to read such terrible things done by Muslims to other people.
Islam does not teach us to persecute others even if there are significant religious differences.
But to me I believe Zoroastrianism meets the same criteria as Islam.
They worship one Allah and believe in one of our prophets.
To me that makes them Muslims.

Azer is Persian for fire and Azerbaijan named by early Zoroastrians meaning "Guardian of Fire"
bro i am myself Zoroastrian and we don't say Zoroaster was born in Azerbaijan, we believe Zoroaster was born in east of Iran and he died there too, Azerbaijan got its name like that cause west and north west of Iran (Azerbaijan and Kurdistan region) were of the most sacred places of Zoroastrianism the people were very faithful in Zoroastrianism and some of the most important sites were located there too for example the Azergushasb fire temple was one of the three biggest Zoroastrianism sacred temples
It's actually surprisingly a recognized religion by Islamic gov of Iran open to preach and practice which is super fukin strange in Iran given the fact that Iran is well... ISLAMIC republic of Iran

Fun Facts:
You pronounced the names wrong.
Zoroastrianism is not monotheistic but Duotheistic.
Ahura Mazda and Angra Manyu (probably spelled wrong) were of equal power.
bruh zoroastrianism is both monotheistic and dualistic because we only worship ahura mazda angre mainyu is the devil or ahriman as we call him
sad facts
its monotheistic
ahura mazda and angra mainyu are not equal
The Gāthās are not Manichaeist, and Manichaeism is not representative of zoroastrism, it had been a late branch of it.
So no, it is a monotheism,” darkness is literally the absence of light” ( which is true according to science).

What does vohu mana means?
