God gave us the will to choose. Most people who recieved the truth twisted the truth to meet their desires. That was their choice. But God is also the disposer of all wills in existence. The turn of events that transpired is all part of his infinite wisdom on how everything gets ordained. There WERE true monotheists from the christians, jews, zoroastrians and most probably even buddhist believers from the very start. Any religion that delves into God's existence and his higher power all have the innate belief in him (fitra), its just that the adherent's parents and society raise them differently. Every child that is born with a clean unbias state already believes in one God as a higher power.
There is an interesting verse in the quran in which God said "And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers?" 10:99 as well as 29:2 "Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test?" and "He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving." (Quran 67:2)
the very definition of Good is the absense of Evil, like wise with truth, which is the absense of falsehood. Thats why we have many religions and ways of life, but only Islam is the only path to salvation. Every other religion praises something created, or defiles God's attributes. islam is the only true monotheistic faith on earth in which no image or symbol takes precedence, only the One God (Allah) who is outside of our realm.

@@KBH4ameen. As said Islam teaches that God sent prophets to guide all people throughout history, each bringing a message of truth and moral guidance. Instead of thinking that Islam was influenced by earlier religions, consider that God might have influenced many people to be prophets, each sent to different communities with a similar core message: to believe in one God and live righteously. In this view, figures like Zarathustra could be part of a broader, divine plan, where God reached out to all people in various ways, not just in the Middle East. Islam respects this concept, seeing itself as a continuation and preservation of this universal message.

Speaking only for myself, it has been difficult to strive to be a good Muslim and not necessarily a good Arab or even a good Salafi. Often times, I will counter-balance something I have heard about a Muslim practice, by investigating how the same practice is observed in, say, Malaysia or South America. You will agree, I think, that a belief such as Christianity or Judaism are much influenced by the areas and cultures in which they are practiced.

Moreover, those things weren’t even known by the compagnon because they lacked the knowledge to appreciate it . Only after modern history we start seeing this . If it was truly written by men, they would have boasted and show off those matematical patterns , but no one ever did. It is clearly a work of God impossible to be set with a human mind . I was thinking this recently. Islam can reconcile this similarity to an extent as you said, but it seems odd that Zoroaster isn't mentioned in the Qur'an. He seems to fit the mold of a prophet more than perhaps any other Biblical figure, and the early Muslims knew of Zoroastrians, Muhammad even had a disciple who was a former Zoroastrian, yet the Qur'an doesn't mention Zoroaster but mentions these other figures (Hud, Salih, Shu'ayb) that maybe no-one had ever heard of before. It just mentions Zoroastrians briefly without linking them to any previous prophet.

Therefore to be on a clear side is what the prophet Muhammad pbuh said in a Hadith as they are many prophets sent to each nation to be guided through the right path and all that were sent were true guided but if we don't know the names and who they were presented to, that's why all those religions were meant to be on certain time and certain people and ends up so the only religion to be followed will be Islam as is the last and final religion for whole humanity not just one nation. If you read Islamic texts and read Zoroastrian texts you will see that there is absolutely no resemblance between the two as I have mentioned above.
The core of Zoroastrianism is uplifting for mankind. It equates man as almost a co-creator with Ahura Mazda (term for God). We are AM’s soldiers so to speak.
      Islam’s core is in ‘submission’.
Zoroastrianism is about standing up with God.
Zoroastrianism is not about conversion or expansion. That is why there only 200,000 people worldwide still practicing this faith.
Zoroastrianism is about being sought. If people want to know about a way of life they are welcome. But no clergy will go to preach this religion … except when invited by Zoroastrians.
There is no killing in Zoroastrianism. In practice this may translate to the exception of self defense.
Taking of life in any form is considered unacceptable except in the normal cycle of life like eating meats or vegetables to live.
The term Ahura Mazda translates to the Lord of Wisdom.
It does not translate to some all powerful entity.
      Zoroastrianism holds 4 tenets.
Truth, Rational thought, Wisdom and universal Love (scholars are not certain about the universal love which may be closer to universal love for truth).
This ‘rational’ approach to life is unique to Zoroastrianism. You are meant to question everything, including the prophet Zarathustra.
You are not to take any concept without a rational filter because that is the God given difference between mankind and any other living form of life - the ability to think, question, discern for ourselves.
There are no dos and don’t. You rely on your own judgement.
The three tools given to you to achieve the four tenets are given as -
Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds.
There is no concept of God’s punishment in Zoroastrianism. The principle is -
If God is ALL GOOD how can there be punishment. God is full of compassion, love and forgiveness.
This is closer to Christianity than any other religious belief.
The concept of Hell does exist but not in a permanent way. That a soul is judged for its deeds and a fallen soul too will eventually rise and be one with God.
In Zoroastrianism there is always Hope. No negativity is permanent. It is a powerful positive force for all.
Many doctrines try and gentrify themselves by finding links to certain concepts.
From a point of clarity and truth this needs to be clear.

So in short if you remove the claim that Quran was recited to Maohammad by God, there is nothing new in Islam comparing to previous reliegions and since Zorastrianism, is the oldest of the three Abrahamic religeions, then what is new about them? In relaity, the differences are all in Sharia laws and traditions depending on people, geography and plotics, not in the theology. And then add to this the fact that Zoroastrianism is also based on older tradiotions and belief systems some of which was practiced throughut the human history which you may call unbeievers, then isn't it more reasonable to say that religeous ideas like anything lese evolved with the human sociites and took different shapes according to their needs? In other words, religeion like many things, like science for example, has a natural evolutionary traits made by humans and there is nothing devine about that.

All religions are offshoots of the Vedic religion or Sanatan Dharma. In the kali yuga, the age of degradation and disputes, the population of Yavanas (meat eaters) and Mlecchas (those who don't follow the Vedas) increased. To preach to them about God, God sent many of His devotees to various parts of the world. Since the yavanas and mlecchas couldn't understand the Vedic scriptures as they are, the prophets or messengers sent by God preached the Vedic religion in an indirect form. What is found in other religions is found in Sanatan Dharma, but there are some things in Sanatan Dharma that can't be seen in other religions.
For example, in the Vedic scriptures, there is an elaborate description of the names ,forms, pastimes, and abode of God which is not described in any other religions. In Islam, it is forbidden to make an image of God because the Muslims don't know how God looks, but the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma allow worship of deities of God, because in those scriptures the exact form of God is described in great detail.
It would be interesting to note that as mentioned in the Bhavishya Purana, most of the mlecchas and yavanas are the descendants of Adam and Havyavati (Havva/ eve), and Judaism, Christianity and Islam start from Adam and Eve.

Maybe you should read up on Salman Farsi and his role. You do realise that during the Muslim Arab conquest of Persia, the Arabs burnt as many copies of the Avesta that they couldn’t possibly find, especially the one In Persepolis! Ever wondered why? Why does one religion not only persecute people who already believed in god but also burn their knowledge? Why did the Zoroastrians migrate to India? All Abrahamic religions are based on Zoroastrianism and to deny that is called favouritism. Nothing can ever justify why Zoroastrians were persecuted for not accepting Islam unless that’s a hoax too.

I've literally been told "You not should think and question such things. It is haram and kafir.". If critical thinking and questioning thinks is "Not allowed" then that religion is controlled through fear. If a person is so afraid of Allah out of fear of punishment that they can't even question Him. Then there is a problem. A simple one word question, "Why?". Nothing is stopping us from questioning Allah, Not even He can stop us from doing it. No one truly knows with 100% what is the one true religion from God. All are just how we humans think God acts and what He wants us to do, Anyone can just make up a religion and trick people into following it.

In Quran, Allah (The Almighty God) said about Majusi - Fire Worshipper. The word of Majusi derive from Persian word, Magus - member of priesthood.
Today we know Majusi are pointed to Zoroastrian led by the priest by making huge fire to perform worshipping or praying.

I was just researching today about Zoroastrianism when i saw some similiarties so i was curios, and out of nowhere this video popped up. Another sign of allah to anwser my question. In the end of my research I found out that:
Zoarastianism has a god called ahura mazda and created an evil creation angra that became corrupted due to his own will to receive greater power and control.
Ahura created then human beings like this:
He created Gayomard first human and then angra killed him out of jealousy and from his bones rhubarb grew out and Mashya and Mashyana, grew out of the rhubarb plant
they populate earth after a catastrophic winter caused by the evil spirit Angra Mainyu, ahura then gave them tools to and knowledge to cultivate the land and protect themselves from the elements, and they became the ancestors of all human beings.
They also say the earth was flat and that angra created the mountains and valley because he tried to destroy earth.
The way the earth is created sounds a bit unscientific
    source - www.zoroastriankids.com/creation.html
Zoarastians were only in persia and then they wandered to india cuz arabs attacked persia, those were called the parsis.
The Parsi community developed its own distinct practices and traditions, which differ in some ways from those of Zoroastrians in Iran and other parts of the world.
In terms of changes to the religion's core beliefs and principles, there have been debates and differences of opinion among Zoroastrian scholars and practitioners throughout history. However, the core tenets of the religion, such as the belief in the dualistic nature of the universe and the importance of ethical behavior, have remained largely unchanged over time.
Nobody can convert into their religion but then nowadays some zoarastians say u can convert into by changing the rules.
However, like any other religion, Zoroastrianism has been subject to different interpretations, practices, and historical developments over time. Some modern Zoroastrians have criticized certain practices or interpretations that they believe deviate from the original teachings of the prophet Zarathustra, such as the use of ritualistic practices that were not originally part of the religion or the incorporation of non-Zoroastrian beliefs and practices.
In Zoroastrianism, it is believed that Angra Mainyu is the source of evil and that he will be defeated by the Saoshyant at the end of time. However, the idea that nobody will have negative feelings after his defeat is not explicitly stated in Zoroastrian texts. The ultimate fate of human souls and the nature of existence after the end of time is not entirely clear in Zoroastrianism, as there are various interpretations and beliefs among different Zoroastrian communities. source chatgpt
For me the religion is a bid unconvicing as there are changes between the zoroastrian communities, core belief seems to be the same but end of time core belief is unclear and not 100% certain.
If allah send prophets everywhere to make them acknowledge whats right or wrong and there is no god but allah,
then people got tricked by sheitan and made their own relgions and beliefs, then there is a need for a consistent religion.
This is the reason why those religions werent preserved but the quran was:
Previous prophets were sent to a particular group of people and their message was supposed to be followed for a particular time period. Since previous revelations were time-bound, God did not preserve them Himself. Muslims believe that the Quran cannot be compared with the previous Scriptures. The Quran is unique in many aspects. It is the final revelation to mankind. Previous scriptures were sent to their respective people only. The Quran is universal
That is why quran contains topcics from scientific signs from astronomy to biology, aswell as the meaning of life to worship allah and this life is a test with good and bad deeds are accounted on the day of judgement.

Q: Why Do Islam & Zoroastrianism Seem So Similar?
A: Because Muhammad appropriated concepts, characters and stories from earlier sources such as Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity etc. Even the Quran alludes to this, below are two verses that mention this, there are other verses in the Quran that allude to this too. Any intelligent, honest person capable of analytical, critical thinking can see this when they read the Quran and Sunnah, it's so painfully obvious!
Quran 25:4: 'The disbelievers say, “This ˹Quran˺ is nothing but a fabrication which he made up with the help of others.” Their claim is totally unjustified and untrue!'

Again, to understand why it's possible to believe in Islam, and believe other revelations also contain the truth from God, pay attention to the following Quranic verses:
4:164 Some messengers We have already told you about, while some messengers We never told you about. [...]
16:63 By God, We sent messengers to communities before you, but Satan beautified their actions for them. [...]
16:36 We sent a messenger to every community: “Worship God, and avoid idolatry.” Some of them God guided, while others deserved misguidance. [...]
In fact, this is the whole reason a more recent religion called Baha'ism exists. I don't specifically follow that religion, but I understand and acknowledge what the author of its books meant.

Muslims love a convenient answer. The problem is that we do have to take the historical analytic approach and suspend the divine element if we are not convinced in the god of abraham. So if we do indeed deny a divine element what we’re left with is a perfectly sensible and plausible transference of beliefs and practices from other “pagan” belief systems into the abrahamic ones. Its too convenient to say “anything we like and agree with we will say god’s revelation was preserved” “anything we disagree with we will say was corruptions added in to gods prior revelations”. Especially now the story of early Israel and the biblical patriarchs are no longer historically credible, we have to also see Islam as a product of its environment, not a special revelation from god. All Islam did was take pre-existing ideas and practices and direct them to a god of the arabs.

Very easy, Judaism kept the theology better, Christianity perhaps the moral character and compassion aspect, and other religions that also came from Islam may have preserved other aspects better.
Islam as to mean the last revelation of Allah SWT unto us, is the perfection of a way of life for all humankind.
It's the best spiritual path on Earth.
Some people will die as Christians, Jews or Zoroastrians, and Allah SWT will forgive them and reward their deeds in the afterlife, we don't hold the belief that a random tribe in south america who never got the last message will necessarily burn in hell, Allah SWT doesn't judge unjustly, and he doesn't punish someone who doesn't know, be it by fitrah or by a previous law, that person will be judged justly in accordance to what it was given of guideance and parameters.
Of course, if you do receive the last revelation of Islam, and you reject it, then that is the issue, and you probably have a disease in the heart, like shirk tendencies, you want creation to be God and it is made appealing to you when you lose patience and do evil... Allahu 3alam.
I advise you my brothers and sisters, to not give ear to liars, if you do then you are inviting misguideance, and if you eventually are misguided, then on Judgement Day you wouldn't have a strong argument, because you actually acted towards it.
It happened to me, and my imaan got weaker, Alhamdulillah it keeps getting stronger tho, because I know Allah SWT tests us sometimes like this, like when Musa was tested with Khidr, and it looked crooked but it all made sense with the context, here it's the same exact thing...
You won't find a better path than this, the Quran truly is something else, and as it states:
    77:50
    فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ٥٠
So what message after this ˹Quran˺ would they believe in?
    - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
The rest of scriptures on Earth, are either blatantly fabricated, with false prophecies and whatnot, or not preserved, full of contradictions and fabrications by the hand of scribes.
Honestly this Quran is a miracle, and I can't be except grateful for it.
    Alhamdulillah.

Salams dear Dr's. Hope you are both well?
I always agree with the stance that you give regarding the answers to all the topics presented to you.
However with regards to this topic, I disagree with you.
Allah would not have based any aspect of Zoroastrian rituals etc and included them in Islam.
Zoroatrians may have a belief in one creator but they worship the Fire!.
They have a Fire, an eternal flame that they bow down too. This bowing down, they call Zesdah. The whole worship ritual is called Namaz. This is a Persian word and literally means Fire worship. What I find strange is that the Muslims, mostly the Pakistanis call their prayers, Namaz!! How weird.
Now, how is it that Islamic rituals appear similar to Zoroastrianism?
It is because the Deen of Islam has been hijacked!
The Persians from the time of Rasool found themselves defeated by the Muslims. They knew the only way to beat them would be to infiltrate Deen. So there was a systematic ideological attack on the Deen of Islam.
Zorastrian ideology found its way into Islam.
Now instead of Deen, we have a Mazhab!! Nowhere in the Quran will you find the word Mazhab/ Madhab.
There is a vast difference between Deen and Mazhab.
The Deen of Allah raises the status of Bani Adam and leads to a massive change within each person. Mazhab, in a nutshell is a fatalistic dogma that says that whatever happens to us, is down to Allah. Mazhab strongly keeps the heads of its followers firmly on the ground, with no outward change in themselves, nor their Society! Go to Masjid, pray, go home and carry on doing all the bad things you were doing.

This is the most basic misunderstanding about zoroastrianism.
We DO NOT worship fire, we believe fire is the most pure manifestation of god’s power, and since no depictions of god exists, we pray towards god’s greatest creation. It’s the first thing you understand when you start as Mazdayasna.
We DO NOT bow to the fire, we bow to god’s power and light. We pray towards the sun during daytime and we pray towards a fire during night. We have eternal flames simbolizing god’s eternal presence.
      WE ARE NOT FIRE WORSHIPPERS.
      Ashem vohu.

If you wish to have an honest answer, then the answer is that all religions are born out of one another, and the process still continues to this day. Judaism was made out of many Zoroastrian concepts with the addition of local legends and folklore. This was followed by Christianity, a trash can of Roman mythologies with the addition of Judaism and Zoroastrian leftovers. Then comes Islam, the so-called religion of PEACE and PURE 😂, which borrows and steals most of the main concepts of Judaism with additional Zoroastrian elements and other available legends and folklore at that time. This is the bitter truth, it's up to you to accept it or cling onto falsehood you are told. Truth always prevails itself no matter how much one tries to suppress it.

Historically speaking the Persian King Cyrus the Great who was Zoroastrian defeated the Babylonians who had enslaved the Israelites. He to them to go back the Israel to build the second temple. Zoroastrianism introduced monotheism to the Israelites who at the time worshipped a number of Gods. The two horned one mentioned in the Quran is said to be Alexander the Great but it is most likely King Cyrus because he is revered in Judaism and Mohammed was in contact with a lot of Jews and Zoroastrians. The Muslims pray is almost identical to the Zoroastrian pray and also resembles that of early Syriac Christians so it was most like copied by them.

Dr Ally misquotes Isaiah (I believe he is referencing ch 45:7) and, inadvertently, blasphemes the Biblical concept of God by failing to distinguish between physical and moral evil. An earthquake, storm etc. are 'evils' because they cause harm but they are not moral evils. A lie is a moral evil. God makes use of the former for good purposes ie: to punish, or test/strengthen ones trust in Him, etc. But God can not make use of, or be the source of, a moral evil because that would be to contradict His very essence. The context of Isaiah 45 is that of using natural evils in order to punish oppressors to God's people so clearly natural evils are what is meant. So, Dr Ally needs to make this distinction in relation to Yaweh: He causes natural evils, He does not cause (but merely tolerates) moral evils.

So, if God sends different messages to humanity, means that there’s only ONE God who “speaks” to all humanity, through testaments and teachings, which have the same meaning and significance for all mankind …
If so, why there’s so much division and hatred towards Christians and other religions,
by muslims, towards “other” faiths ?? If it’s how this man describes it, we should all be united and respectful
to each other, no matter if some are muslims, Christian or Jewish….
We have seen fanaticism, radicallity and racism everywhere, from muslims, especially the last few years !!
It’s NOT other races avoiding mixing with the muslims, it’s muslims who avoid them, as they believe whoever is not of their faith is not worthy and rightful as they are!!
It’s all about acceptance and respect for others, no matter what their “religion” is…
If it all stems from the ONE creator, the teachings should be same for all !!
So why such separation ?? Maybe muslim people are not taking Gods teachings seriously and they formed their own radical ideology and beliefs towards everyone else, who don’t follow their faith …

Not "exactly" right. Islam can be accepted as a "correction" of sorts for those monotheistic faithes that rather much got Off-track in what they were originally intended to accomplish. The Judaic Faith was doing just fine until the Covenant with Allah was taken to mean the formation of a nation-state under a Human King. In like manner, the prophet Isa (pbuh) was never expected to be elevated to a status as a god, but rather to correct the earlier mis-guided nation-state concept as well as the growing class system in Judea. Islam is a way in which we Humans can get back to the fundamental belief in a single Eternal and Absolute but we are still challenged by the addiction many have to power and control. FWIW.

Do Zorastrians bury those who die?

Now yes due to climate change and urbanisation, however, in ancient Zoroastrianism we used to leave those who died on the very top of a hill, for them to return to nature via vultures. The bones also used to vaporise by the sun.

Zoroastrianism has concept of all powerful one God Ahura Mazda and evil force that exists albeit under Mazda is called Angra Mainyu.
Quran espouses similar concept like Allah the all powerful God and Satan albeit under Allah.
    Throwing Stones.
Praying five times ( Or three times a day) etc etc.
By the by Zoroastrians never worship fire as popularly believed.
It is just a natural example for knowledge and enlightement.
By the By another mistaken belief is all Hindu sects believe in many Gods.
Hindus also believe only in one God but concept of Deities ( not exactly similar to angels but a status higher than that of angels but not GOD himself) is alient to Abrahmic religions.
Infact Vedantins and in some firqas of Hinduism say it is not just that there is one God But there is ONLY God everywhere.
One and Only words are the difference from Abrahmic religions to Eastren religions.
Why had to digress and write is because many Islamic scholars ( Including Dr Ally)
Mis represent Eastren religion which is understandable as they have not studied these religions in a structured way under a Qualified master but derived some notions from books written by Westren Authors and lack of understanding of Sanskrit language
