If you think about it the world is created with scarcity. As a result it is full of predators, who do evil in order to overcome their scarcity. The predation becomes sophisticated such that you often get normally "good" people or groups predating on better people, whom they often become jealous of (like the story of Joseph and his brothers). So it is relative in that sense. Of course the "good" people have to then demonize or "STRAW MAN" the better person in those more sophisticated cases. But it is still the SAME phenomenon, self serving predation. So evil is all about inherent scarcity in the world and how we handle it.

I have complete different theories. Note that it's just theories I don't claim it to be true and I myself completely doesn't believe in those theory so anyways. Even Mitra and Varuna are stated to be Asura in Rig Veda now the question is are asuras bad and evil, mostly yes but are every Asura evil, no. So I personally think that there are two types of classifications. Asura was a term used for title "Lord" and also for asuras opposite of Suras/Gods. Despite their name is same but their meaning is completely different. The other theory is that Asuras aren't really evil beings but power seeking beings but as usual power seeking beings are generally harmful as most seek powers to harm others but that doesn't mean every power seeking being is evil some beings are neutral or even good which they use it for betterment for others. So simply power seeking beings became Asura/Demons and Beings who seek truth became Sura/Gods. Again this is Just my theory it is kinda stupid to be honest

If you think about it the world is created with scarcity. As a result it is full of predators, who do evil in order to overcome their scarcity.
The predation becomes sophisticated such that you often get normally "good" people or groups predating on better people, whom they often become jealous of (like the story of Joseph and his brothers). So it is relative in that sense. Of course the "good" people have to then demonize or "STRAW MAN" the better person in those more sophisticated cases.
But it is still the SAME phenomenon, self serving predation. So evil is all about inherent scarcity in the world and how we handle it.
All these guys existed hundreds of years ago. Looks like new prophets stopped coming to earth since the 20th century🤣

So it is not only important to be Good but it is also important to be strong enough to protect the goodness of else there will be continuous onslaught of evil which is quite evident from numerous Islamic invasion on India which led to huge Massacre of people whether it is of Nalanda University by Bhaktiyar Khilji or it is of Somnath Massacre by Mahmud of Ghazni.

Nah , Abrahamic religions tend to have a few hard-to-accept features to non-Abrahamic people , it's just symbolism if you know what it means . Literalists say that God created Adam and Eve 6000 years ago , it's important to emphasised "literalists" because they want to read things literally , just a little bit of understanding about symbolism and we can coexist without being a-holes to each other ( I say this as a Dharmic person )

i hearded everywhear the theory that zarathustra interverted the asuras and devas as ahura and daeva and thus macking the demons god and the demons out of the gods. but zoroastrians don't look evil or satanic ! what the reality behind this claim?
I have complete different theories. Note that it's just theories I don't claim it to be true and I myself completely doesn't believe in those theory so anyways.
Even Mitra and Varuna are stated to be Asura in Rig Veda now the question is are asuras bad and evil, mostly yes but are every Asura evil, no. So I personally think that there are two types of classifications. Asura was a term used for title "Lord" and also for asuras opposite of Suras/Gods. Despite their name is same but their meaning is completely different.
The other theory is that Asuras aren't really evil beings but power seeking beings but as usual power seeking beings are generally harmful as most seek powers to harm others but that doesn't mean every power seeking being is evil some beings are neutral or even good which they use it for betterment for others.
So simply power seeking beings became Asura/Demons and Beings who seek truth became Sura/Gods.
Again this is Just my theory it is kinda stupid to be honest

@@ixisinvestigator6009 It is undoubtedly true. Judaism in some sense definitely had influence from perspective similar to Hinduism and Judaism. The Concept Of a embodiment of evil and Embodiment of Goodness came from Zoroastrianism (most probably).
And I don't really think Varuna is Mazda can be a possibility, certainly everything can be a possibility but I don't really think Varuna is Ahura Mazda

As a Shia Muslim we belive that he Zartushra was a Prophet according to hadith by Ahlulbayt A.S. He was indeed murdered and as time passed by, his message changed and got polluted. This happened again and again like Judaism and Christianity. Today Islam is the true version of monotheism.
