He is explaining very well. Parsis are a good community. I hope they ( younger lot) do not get swayed into becoming wokes & sickular. They must learn from their history.
Many of us Iranians are not Muslims, most of us aren't Zoroastrian but we're also not Muslim. We celebrate Persian New year (vernal equinox) and have still kept many of our traditions alive regardless of the countless invasions we've endured. Hopefully the current regime's situation will change and people can come and see what we have to offer. (Also no hate against Muslims, we just have a vast culture that is a lot older than Islam which is still very alive)

@@rahilmalhotra001 Either atheist or many have their own interpretations of how life works based on experience and other things. Some people have their own spiritual practices. Many of these people would probably be mild and open minded shia Muslims but the actions of the regime really changed the population's view on religion. Many people outright consider religion a negative and bash it.
@@rahilmalhotra001 also many people believe in God they just don't believe in it from an Abrahamic perspective. A bit tricky to explain but yeah it's just that many other aspects of daily life are of higher priority than spirituality or religion in most Iranian households and the beliefs kinda run in the background unless you're from specific communities in specific areas which are more religious. The Sunni regions inhabited by mostly Arabs and Kurds also tend to sometimes (not always) but sometimes have more strict cultural and religious values related to Islam. (Again, this doesn't apply to everyone, many of those people are also secular and identify with their culture rather than religion).

Their prophet is prophet Zoroaster.
The story may or may not be true but it is alleged that this turanian king was vedic king Rjraswa of Bharatas or puru (in rig veda) or Arjataspa in avesta.

The only refrence to Persian God 'Ahura' is in the Upanishad where the Indians have admitted that 'Ahura Mazda' is the true God, whom they have renamed as 'AUM'.

Indians say that this AUM is omnipresent even in the sun, moon and holy men.

It seems so good when he says our religion is same as sanatan dharma. The problem does not lies in the similarities, the problem is in the difference. When a discussion comes to differences, that's where things get exposed and you realise there's nothing as pristine as Sanatan Dharma/ Hinduism. For Eg in all the monotheistic religions the fundamentals thinking is our God is the only true God, and if you don't believe in it you are different from us and as you are not one of us you can't marry with our people can't enter our places of worship etc etc all such rigid thoughts creep in and Parsi religion is no exception. The bottom line is Hinduism cannot be compared with any other religion because apart from positive things of a religion it does not have any negative things when compared to others
The reasons we are not allowing marriage in different religion and not other people entering our places of worship is due to preserving our religion. As we are going to be extinct.
What about the caste system. It's awful how the shudra and pariah castes are treated. What about sati where the wife was burned on the funeral pyre of the husband. What about a widow if she survived the sati custom she is shunned from all happy events. Part of the same religion I say. By the way I'm not being disrespectful I'm pointing out some facts.
Perhaps the most explicit call for Zoroastrians to be vegetarian is found in the sayings of Adarbad Mahraspandan [Zoroastrian high priest and prime minister during the reign of Sasanid King Shapur II (309-379 CE)] which states:
"Abstain rigorously from eating the flesh of kine and all beneficent animals (gospandan) least you be made to face a strict reckoning in this world and the next, for by eating the flesh of kine and other domestic animals, you involve your hand in sin, and (thereby) think, speak, and do what is sinful; for though you may eat but a mouth- ful, you involve your hand in sin, and though a camel be slain by (another) person in another place, it is as if you (who eat its flesh) had slain it with your own hand."
Hinduism and zoroastrianism are both descended from the original indo european religion..long lost brothers!

Need to ask the guest whether english word prophet and the transliteration of it in avesta mean exactly same or different. Many sanskrit words do not have exact transliteration in the english.
For example- word dharma is not equivalent to english word religion, the soul does not mean Brahman but only mean atma, etc

The very idea of following a single positive force GOD was first brought up by Zorasta himself a few thousand years before Judaism Christianity and Islam concept of heaven and hell arrival of a saviour and many more ideas were adopted by them
Zoroastrian is the earliest religion that had the largest influence on the Abrahamic religion which not a lot of people know about. They were the one who freed the Jew from the Babylonian captivity. There seem to strange subtle correlation that I've notice between all religion. Such as their prophet Abraham and Sarah sounded similar to Brahma & Saraswati. Another is some certain sect in Catholic believes Jesus must've traveled to India to study under a Hindu/Buddhist teacher. It was suggested by a psychic that Jesus studying under various foreign mentor all over the world. Him and Buddha were a bit similar in the way both were said to be of divine birth and came to earth to teach other to be compassionate while raising other consciousness at the same time.

I am not a Muslim, BUT when you think how much more contrived Zoroastrianism is compared to Islam it is no wonder Islam managed to push out Zoroastrianism. Regardless of either of these religion’s truthfulness , Islam was probably easier to many people. Islam is more abstract and the followers can fill up the details in their mind. With Zoroastrianism it’s full of details which absolutely have to be known, no one can remember, thus making it an elitist religion which broke the society into a less equal arrangement between rich and poor.
That can happen with us too.

While this concept of "Ancient Iran" includes East Asia and Europe that NEVER have had any Iranian influence. Chill dude. In Vedic astrology religion exist for a reason that human can't understand. Religion is tied to Brihaspati/Jupiter the teacher of the devas, and is meant to be spread worldwide due to it expansive nature whether you like it or not.
