I saw so many RUclips videos of people making the ocean waves. Out of all the ones I have seen, I never saw anyone blow theirs down as well. (I’m not saying their isn’t anyone one else doing it this way, I just haven’t seen any other videos of it) they only use their heat gun to blow upwards. Maybe because they aren’t making it very big. Well anyway, yours is gorgeous. It’s the best one that I have seen! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, I am delighted you like it. I tried to make it as realistic as possible and after studying photos of surf, I found that it is not predictable and the movement varies. So that was my attempt. 😁

I tried the Lang Ridge titanium white the other day as I had got a big order of colours from Artisue. I was really impressed with the cells it created I would even say better than the LeRez which I love.

Wow! Maybe a little better explanation of what you are using, but fantastic! Trying to find the • Artisue Powder Pigment - Jade • Artisue Powder Pigment - Sapphire • Colour Obsession Paste - Stormy Seas right now.
Unfortunately, since this video was made, Artisue has closed their doors. Colour obsession are based in Australia, although, they may have stockists elsewhere. The Le Rez iridescent jade and Sea Breeze are the same colour as the Artisue colours. You can find them on my website. Suefindlaydesigns.com.au.

Thank you 💕 I don't wait for the blue layer to cure. I add a small dollop of paste on the end of a stick to the resin. You don't need a lot. When mixing, you will see if you need more. 💕
So awesome and satisfying to watch 😁 as you do it in this video, when its cured, can you feel the sand through it? If I want a flat surface over the sand, do I have to do another clear layer on top after? Best regards
You can feel the sand, although, that was my intention. You can add more resin to the sand and as it self-levels it will reduce the texture. For a smooth finish, more resin may be needed as a top coat. Or you can use sand coloured pigment and avoid using sand. 💕

Gorgeous work of art. My question is did you let the sand part dry completely before adding the water and was the water part completely dry before doing the waves. Been having issues with it but maybe I need a different resin is the issue. Any tips?
Thank you. In answer to your questions, I didn't let the sand or water cure before adding each layer. The resin you use does make a difference. You may have to experiment with resins to find the right one for you. 💕

Yes, I love both too. The only downside with the Langridge, is that you have to make sure you mix it well. 💕
