I’ve watched every video on RUclips to get these dang cells and lacing in my ocean charcuterie boards and I couldn’t get it! This is the most detailed explanation of how to get them I’ve seen. Going to try again tonight! Thank you so much! ♥️♥️♥️
You're excellent and very natural at this. Very clear, wonderful calming voice. Please do more, you have the potential of a successful & prolific RUclipsr!
This was very nice. The music was perfect too. I like that you didn't over resin everything and taped everything off so neatly. I was about to buy heat gun nozzles and I would have purchased the wrong ones. Thank you again.
Thank you for sharing! I love your tip about not overworking it and showing it at the 5 min mark. It’s hard to “trust” the art to work itself sometimes 😅
I just subscribed because this was the exact info I need in the exact form I needed it to be in! Thank you for not being all fake perky or saying the word "actually" repeatedly after the requisite, "Hello, my lovelies" greeting. You relied on your skill and it made for a solid informative video without distractions. Bravo!
Thank you Rivka for posting this. I was struggling with my waves. Come to find out my resin was to thin and the wrong white pigment. After watching your video I nailed my waves for my lighthouse display. Thanks again.
I'm just getting into resin and the ocean effect and it isn't easy. Thank you for this tutorial, very easy to understand and follow. You have a good teaching ability.
I'm not an artist, I've been watching different type of pouring tutorials. I was just never satisfied with the look of waves. They didn't seem real. I came across this tutorial and I am totally amazed how real your waves look; how authentic they look. I have subscribed because you seem to be at the top of this artistry. As I said I am not an artist and I will probably never do a pour, but the technique is so fascinating and I love to watch the results of different pours. Thank you for this tutorial and this beautiful technique.
Yes thank you!! Casting craft just leaves a puddle of white….made me soooo sad LOL 🥺 I bought what you use and I’m hoping for some super results this time! Thank you,Thank you for sharing👊🤓
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I would have loved to have seen the process for the second wave and the blue pigment. I’m a visual learner and this was very helpful ❤️❤️
Mee too! When i saw th finished peices I was like wait WHAT!? So whole point was to make 1st wave show thru under the blue water tinted resin? Im confused 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you. I have been trying to finish a resin ocean and beach painting. I panic the whole time the mask is on my face. I have been wearing it for a few minutes without being in my art room. I won’t use resin without it. I love your waves. 🌸
Ok so I’ve been following you for years now on Instagram and always been in awe of your beautiful work. I had resin for a year and was too afraid to try it, thinking I’d “waste it” but it’s not a waste whilst you’re learning. I started making the usual - initial keyrings and wants to attempt the waves and cells and tried a handful of times with various techniques and nothing would be successful. When you put this video out you changed everything! I started to this about the science behind resin and how we can make it work for us, lo and behold thanks to you I GOT WAVES! I was chuffed! However had a HUGE allergic reaction (take all safety precautions whilst using resin everyone-seriously) and I don’t think ill ever use it again. So I’m back to being in awe of your work - I would adore a clock! It would make my 2021! Xxxxx
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, this is the best presentation I have learned about making waves of all kinds, calm and rough. I wish you had explained to us how you added the color of the sea and then the other layer of waves.
This tutorial helped me a lot! I started to resin during the pandemic because watching your videos So soothing it inspired me. Thank you for everything! I would love to have one of your clocks!
So great to see you here Rivka - great video explanations on your waves. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. I would be happy to see anything you create from start to finish. Would love to see you create your galaxy pours from start to finish.
Cool tip. Try little square or shapes below your pours and they will catch what drops and see what and how they turn out. Since i see similar shaping as your boards on the drips below! 😍❤😘
Thank you sooo much for this! You really have a way of teaching that is easy to understand. I have been trying to do waves for over a year and this video really explains why some results are better or different than others. Thanks again for the detail of your instructions! 😍
Best tutorial I have seen, and I have watched a lot, on making the wave foam. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video. I now know where I was going wrong with my first attempts, I was probably adding too much pigment for one and secondly over working it.
Ok, I’m going to get the same resin and white pigment and now all I need to know is about the heat gun…high pressure, low pressure? And how about the heat level? I’m so sorry, but you are my very favorite!! I wish you were my neighbor and I could come over to you for a class!!! Yours are just the best!!
Wow just incredible. I will try to use your techniques in some tables i am going to make. Obe of which will be a river table with a rocky bottom. So i think subtleness at the proper locations may prove perfect. Thank you.
Thank you very much for this video! Ive watched a number of videos from a number of different people and I think you have the best technique going! Your different types of waves are fantastic!! Thanks again!!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Certainly in awe of how easy you make it look but i know it comes from many years of practice to get to this level.
Woow beautiful work Rivka! May you please share, when do you add the blues? After you’ve waited 24 hours for your first white wave to dry? Is the order first white wave, wait to dry, blues, 2nd white wave? Thank youuuuu
I need to know how long do you let the white sit befor you use it? And the clear sits for 15 minutes befor you add the white right? I’ve tried twice and I’m missing a step somewhere🥺 Discourged but don’t want to give up ither….pretty please help me get this right. I’d be so grateful. I use stone coats art resin and I bought the white pigment you use…no lacing, blends with blues…ugh…sits in a white puddle mess no lacing…I’m so sad n frustrated🫣 Thank you for sharing!!
Great vid! Thanks for posting! One question to make sure I understand, please. What did you mean when you said "...since this epoxy is 30 min I will wait 15 min before I lay down my white."? Are you talking about curing time? So you wait half the curing time before applying the white? Do I understand correctly? Oh, almost forgot to thank you for not making us hear your heat tools blow! Very considerate. 😊 Oops, one more please...do you find you get different results when adding the white to clear resin as opposed to colored resin? Do the multiple colors affect the lacing effect? TIA!
I think it's time for me to go from silicone moulds to making these beautiful ocean waves and river tables. I really enjoyed your video. Can you make one of your epoxy room
Love the video, can you please tell me what heat setting you are using with the heat gun. as I seem to be heating and burning the white trying to push waves out. thankyou
I really love watching your videos. I also tried the same technique but my cells are not coming up, I get some cells in the start but when I leave it for a while they just disappear or I don't get cells at all. Can you help me with this? What could be the possible issue?
The lacing in your waves are beautiful! I would love to see you do a galaxy piece. I will be a subscriber for life if you continue to make videos like this. Very informative without being long and drawn out. Thank you. Very pretty work.
Very instructive video. After 24 hrs you added pigment and another set of waves. Question: how long did you wait on the pouring of the pigment before the wave creation? My waves always look more like clouds than waves. Thank you 🙏🏼

Hi from Brazil! Have you got that effect?
You're excellent and very natural at this. Very clear, wonderful calming voice. Please do more, you have the potential of a successful & prolific RUclipsr!
Your voice and the music mimics Bob Ross, so smooth and soothing, thank you!
So true! A modern Bob Ross. 😊
This was very nice. The music was perfect too. I like that you didn't over resin everything and taped everything off so neatly. I was about to buy heat gun nozzles and I would have purchased the wrong ones. Thank you again.
The best tutorial I’ve seen. Now you are my guru!!!
thanks for not having some other person video tape asking the wrong questions and making a pour difficult. Nice Work and thanks
So subtle, calm and informative👌🏼. Thank you for uploading this video. The process itself is therapeutic to watch and listen in your voice. ♥️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing! I love your tip about not overworking it and showing it at the 5 min mark. It’s hard to “trust” the art to work itself sometimes 😅
BEST RESIN WAVE VIDEO EVERRR❤️❤️ thank you so much. This really helped me level up my resin game.
This is the most helpful wave making video I've seen!! Tysm. I just got into resin art, and I'm quickly realizing that I'm falling in love with it!
I just subscribed because this was the exact info I need in the exact form I needed it to be in!
I’ve been experimenting with wave making & have been having a hard time. This was so helpful! Thank you so much!
You’re very welcome 😊

What specific ocean colors are you using? Looks great!!

Wow, thank you!
This video is not just informative on technique, but very relaxing. I love the background music. Thx for the info!
Thank you. I have been trying to finish a resin ocean and beach painting. I panic the whole time the mask is on my face. I have been wearing it for a few minutes without being in my art room. I won’t use resin without it. I love your waves. 🌸
Absolutely in love with your work. Those dark, mysterious oceans are incredible! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
I over did the white 🙃 patience is the key.... Nice video 🙂
Very helpful video from an honest teacher

I am so grateful
Happy to hear that. I do have an even bigger tutorial available on my website if that’s helpful :) Rivkawilkinsart.com
I am so so happy to find your tutorial video! Thank you for sharing !
Can we get a video on how you did the second layer
Yes please
Yes please!!
I would assume you let the first layer dry then add the second in the same way as the first
She said that she did the second layer the same way on the first
Seems like one of the key steps..and its missing. She had to have added color vs just white. Disappointed that was left out.
This is such a great tutorial as this is probably one of the hardest effect to achieve. Thank you so much 🙏❤️
This tutorial helped me a lot! I started to resin during the pandemic because watching your videos So soothing it inspired me. Thank you for everything! I would love to have one of your clocks!
How did you get the cells? Did you use a cell activator
So great to see you here Rivka - great video explanations on your waves. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. I would be happy to see anything you create from start to finish. Would love to see you create your galaxy pours from start to finish.
Thank you! Will do!

Great video on each style of wave! I have the same heat gun....can you tell me what setting you have it on when you blow the waves?
