Capacity 9 + 1??? Immediate fail. What the hell is wrong with you Walther? Everybody else has way more capacity in similar sized carry guns. The people want a Walther version of a P365 or Glock 43x but you give us something from the 1990's.
Still waiting on a PPS M3 double stack/competitive micro 9...been waiting for years. Looks like we'll continue to wait. Walther, what are you doing over there? Listen to your customer base .
Walther never has said they are going to make one as a matter of fact they have said the opposite. Not every company has to follow and copy every other company
A single stack, no optic cut gun in 2023? You’re serious. Look you guys produce some of the best guns on earth, but your customers have been telling you for years they wanted updated ppsm3 style gun and you failed. Even the damn Ruger Lcp max has more capacity.
I don't need optics and truly believe the capacity is fine. Guns like this are fine for their intended purpose. They continue to be made because they continue to sell.
Yeah they seriously screwed up with this one. Almost no one is going to buy a 9 round pistol without an optics cut in 2023. I honestly don't understand what they were thinking.
Honestly, this is so out of touch with who this pistol would be for. What in the James Bond/John Wick BS is this ad? Meeting some dude wearing white gloves in a airplane hanger, surrounded by helicopters and twin engine planes, like come on…
I’m glad to see the paddle release being retained. I love it on my P99, and I thought it was dead with the PPQ M2 and PPS M2 and then the PDP. Hopefully it’ll make a comeback. The button release market is over saturated. It’s a differentiator. My only request on this is to get it in stores soon.
I told myself the Final Edition will be my last firearm purchase. Looks like this PD380 will be it. I like the paddle magazine release and the DA/SA trigger. The MSRP is fair. Look forward to going to the range.
Weight?? Love DA/SA, we don’t need more Glock striker fire clones. I really wanted to like the Beretta P80X but they made it too big and heavy. No reason for a .380 carry gun to be more than 20oz. Weight matters in this category.
@@macgregordespitethem7933 I think the Glock 42 has higher capacity and is under 16oz loaded. Not sure if a da/SA action needs to weigh much more than a striker but they are both polymer framed .380s…
A slim, DA/SA that managed to squeeze in an extra round into a single stack, proven subcompact design that's at an inexpensive price and not as snappy as a pocket .380 or micro 9...and people are complaining about capacity and optic cuts "Well this new revolver coming out isn't double stacked, so..."

Yeah this thing is ridiculous. They didn't give give it proper capacity or even an optics cut.

Import laws restrict double stack, micro compact frames. So, it's not going to happen for a while, sadly!

I'm waiting for just that as well. Currently have the original in 40 cal.
I'd like it to look like the PDP though.

It’s also smaller, less expensive, and has a better trigger
these guys are too spoiled, this pistol is fine as it is

All this for a 380 that's single stack and not optic ready 🤦🏿♂️
Otherwise known as “epic fail without telling me epic fail.”
Single stack? Yeah the Actor seemed as disappointed as the rest of us.
Ever hear the expression “runs like a German clock?”
SIG hasn’t either 😂

@@Shenmue06 With gun grabbers trying to eliminate 10 round magazines, this may become a viable option if you live in one of those states.
@@jerrynkathy I could only see that happening in California which probably doesn't even allow this pistol.
So, Walther took the PK380 and reskinned it? Gonna be a limited market without a stack-n-half mag and optic cut.
I highly doubt people are going to buy this thing. This pistol is a decade behind the competition. Most people want high capacity and optics cuts.

I still get more features with my Sig P365 380.... Sorry Walther.... unless you equal or better the Sig no dice for me on your PD380. Nice video.
Its not supposed to be a sig macro competitor if you thought that your sadly mistaken
@@boomee78 how you know that, who told you that?😁
A double stack 380, 12 rounds would have been nice but I’m diggin it.

Update: Got one.
Where's the double stack 9mm hammer fired gun?
There are at least 600 pistols I'd buy before this one
Walther, love you guys; but seriously? Make it a double stack, lose the euro mag release and move the safety to the frame...

One article I read gives the weight as 20.6 oz with empty magazine. Essentially same size and weight as S&W Shield Plus 9mm.

Very nice!
If you wait a year after release you will be able to pick this up for $250.00 after rebate.
this kind of gets me excited for an american james bond
Nice looking gun but ill stick with my PPS M2
Excellence is expected ✌️
But I'm looking at the new old Glock G25 .380 that has come to our shores. 15 & 17 rd magazines and 4.01" barrel.
