Those are good tips. I've been doing a little training exercise by tossing an antler I have from my uncle, and it's fun to try and see where it is after it lands. I know they also don't always fall tines up, so helps train my eyes to see the curve of the main beam that way. And it helps me if it lands in leaves so I know what I'm looking for so I can find my first antler that wasn't a gift from someone. All the ones I have are gifts.

That is definitely a great way to train the eyes. Good luck if you get out this spring.

Ditches Fences Bedding area feeding areas. The best is anytime they can get seriously wet so they shake them off.

Hate corn fields??.Found 4 last week here in Pa.Found 36 last year..About 70 miles of walking. Got a dog this year.Could be good or bad.He picked up all of those. But I had to point them out to him.Hes only 10 months.Ince he finds his first one .It will be on. GOOD luck in the rest of your time. Its not a race..Its a marathon..

We don’t care for the cornfield as well but on private ground we are just trying to stay out of the bedding for now until all the deer have dropped. Good luck to you and your new pup this spring in PA 👊🍻
