When you said the small one are more impressive you won my vote. Been shed hunting for 32 years now and I've got tons of big ones but very few small ones. They are a treasure. Awesome video brother.
I just started shed hunting this past year and I've found 4 so far all 3 points or under cant find any big ones 😂 even found a spike
I was in the same boat, when I first started I would only find 2-3 a year, and then by trial and error I started figuring out where to spend the most time looking and now I can get into the double digits. I agree about small antlers too, I love finding the small ones, because I know if I can find a little 2 point Ill have no problem spotting a big one.
Very informative, a breath of knowledge! This was my first year shed hunting and I was quite surprised to have found 22 sheds. I will continue going out as it’s a very addictive hobby. Good luck and shed on!!!!
👌👍☕💪😋😜
Last year I had it where I was standing near a tree waiting for my dad and after a few minutes I was just looking near my feet and seen a 3 inch spike 4 feet from me and it took me like 4 minutes to see it while standing at the same spot right beside it
Man you describe myself to a tee. I couldn't agree more with everything you said, don't go too early and I also don't double back to spots, bedding has always been my best, and if I ever see a pine tree no matter where it is I guarantee I'll be walking to it
You’re awesome man thank you and good luck this season I’ll keep pine trees in mind
Glad I found you. I am subscribed. Us shed hunters are first class. We have more great memories from out in the great outdoors than anyone else. We get to really learn whats what in the great outddors. God bless, and happy safe trails to you.
Thank you for sharing your insights to those of us that want to try this sport!!
I found my 1st 2 sheds ever this year
Just came across this. And couldn’t agree more.I find a lot of those little ones. But I have same good ones also.Found a match set last year 55 inches both sides.Struggling this year.My dog and I have 16 so far.He found 3 on his own.Nothing like having your dog come out of thick stuff you don’t want to go in.And come out with a stud.He will be 3 the end of this month. He has 24.Last year we got 54,the year before 76..It’s no walk in the park.Almost 70 miles this year so far.
👍👍
I have been hunting for deer antlers for years and i just found my first one last week
Deer shed antlers business is banned only in india from 1998....
Checked all my best spots and haven't found any in Erie County
Awesome
Very informative video thanks
