The video title is 100% accurate. I built one very similar but used 4" sch 40 carbon steel pipe. It defiantly made the list of tools I will never let anybody use. Had zero issues lifting one end of a lightly loaded 40' connex container with it.
I have lifted 1500 pounds, I would haft to change the come a long to something bigger to lift more. Probably would go to different rigging, I think 1500 pounds is as much as I will push it.

Beaut! Yours is much nicer that the gin pole I cobbled together with driftwood to lift wood beams up twenty feet. So much fun 😁
